It wasn’t really that bad, just some things to consider before you get started! If you’ve used MonstaLiner or any other bedliner as paint, let me know how it’s holding up! So far so good!
Did you use both gallons on the Cruiser? I have a Tacoma truck I’m wanting to do this on. Didn’t know if one gallon was enough or not. Great job by the way.
Good question. I used both gallons for the car. There was about an inch to two left over so I could have used a bit more on each coat. I’d definitely recommend you get at least two for a full truck, you need to spread it on kinda thick. Hope that helps, good luck with the Taco!
Spread it on thick. Knowing you have plenty helps keep you from trying to stretch the product out. Applying extra pressure can cause the foam roller to break down and start flaking and can cause uneven texture. Buy extra foam rollers so you can swap them when they wear down.

I will now be using this as undercoat to combat PA road salt. Thanks DartMech!
Good idea! They sell a spray-able coating as well which might make applying to the underside a lot easier.
Glad you like the vid!
Hello,
Great job. What kind of sand paper did you use?
It was 800 grit I think. The main thing is to just scuff the surface so you could use much more coarse paper.
It's no longer a PT Crusier. After painting it with truck liner, it's now a truck, lol... good job.😊
They register as a light truck.
Ha, that’s right! Thank you!
To pass emissions, you are correct!

Two gallons should easily cover your Tacoma. You may be able to get away with just one, but it is best to have plenty for two coats.
