- Hey y'all. I don't know if I've ever mentioned it, but film making is a LOT of work. In that sense, this is not a film, but I did turn on the ol gopro for a quick flight I did the other day to do a VOR check and more importantly a snow check after the recent Port Angeles Snopocalypse. Hope you enjoy the beauty. I wish I had flown for longer!!
Love it!!
Awesome video! That last landing was perfect!
Thank you for taking the time to share your flights with us. You are an inspiration to work on my landings - you are so smooth!
I dig the way you save the brake pads on the rollout. Sweet. I did all my training here in n/w Louisiana. No snow for me! I spent a few years in New Jersey. Little airport called Solberg Airport. Snow a plenty. In a rented 172 to check out the Round Valley park from the air. Also a trip to NYC and do the VFR corridor up the Hudson River. My passengers loved it, me not so much. My head was on a swivel watching for traffic. The Unicom was so busy you couldn't get a word in sideways. Flying back to Solberg I note the main runway (4 - 22) had a disabled aircraft on it. (a wheels up bonanza) A nice snowfall the night before made the turf runway (31 - 13) a nice alternative. I had never landed on an inch of snow before. This was going to be fun. The wind was 320 @ 11. As I approach 31 I see the marker lights sticking up out of the ground. It felt like landing on a sea of cotton balls. When I turn around to taxi back I was amazed just how fast the wheel pants filled up with snow. I could see a white cloud behind me as I taxied back. Good Times!! Making memories. I enjoy your videos of you and your little airplane immensely. Thank you so much for sharing.
All the best Amy!
That is impressive the way you pushed your plane into the hanger in just one try, I would normally try it 2 or 3 times before I get it in the right spot.....
Dang! I am so jealous! The FAA did not accept the bill of sale I submitted. I am waiting once again, for them to review it, so am at least another month from flying my experimental. However, right after flight testing over Shelton, and the ADS-B test, I plan to tackle Mt. Olympus. Having last flown over that in 1988!
Making videos / film making is a HUGE amount of work lol This was a great reminder of how much fun it is to fly. I have mesa's and canyons where I live and I don't take advantage of that like I should.
Great video of both your aircraft and scenery, many thanks for the time you put into these videos!
Looks like an awesome flight! Such beautiful scenery.
Thank you for sharing....amazing!!
Wow, a lot of snow there, perfect to keep 55U hangared!! Thanks for sharing beautiful flight.
You are an inspiration. Am doing a pre buy on a 150 now.
Awesome. Thanks for the visual pick-me-up!
Nice flight Amy. Really enjoyed the scenery.
Hi there
Just wanted to say thank you for posting all these beautiful videos,
I do fly a 1975 cessna 150, and I truly enjoy watching your videos and the music. Keep up the good work and fly safe.
Fun fun, Amy! You got a lot more snow than we did. Once I relocate to KTIW I'll spend more time on that side. It'll be fun!
Hi Amy. Yes videos are a LOT of work and I for one really appreciate you taking the time to produce them. I do love your airplane!
Beautiful area! Looks a lot like the area I fly in northern Vermont and New York around Lake Champlain. Mountains out there are a little taller though. Hopefully the weather will let me get out and run the valley soon. I definitely need a fix....😁
Wow that environment. This is so different from where you had your flying lessons in Edenton. Looks so beautiful in the snow, you make your last name come true ;) haha
Hi Amy. Would you mind explaining cost to own your Cessna 150?
I been there before ... i flew a 150 down to LA from k11s (seiku).👍 you're almost to alaska!
Not quite. I live here, but fish there. 4 days by boat. 5 to 6 hours by light aircraft.
Lovely, very smooth landing! I enjoy all your videos but particularly those with the audio in the cabin. As a student pilot, that melodious sound of the Cessna engine makes me always happy. Does your plane have the 100HP Continental O-200 or an upgrade? Do you have any videos with RT calls included? Happy landings!
Amy thanks for another sweet video. Your 150 has a great paint scheme, is it original? I was curious what was your average cruise speed on your trip cross country? Thanks Bart
Ah, the joy of flying in that crazy-thick air, fat with sleepy molecules that wouldn't harm a soul. Way to hold the nose off, Amy. 👍
Do you plan on being a pilot in the Coast Guard?
I just love how cessna 150's look, high wing planes to me are so much cooler. I've been flying a piper PA-28 140
WOW. Did your plane even get WET ??? LOL. (Besides the wheels)
the guy we bought our sailboat from lived in squim
Hey, I'm actually first to a video for once! Also, could you please put a link to the music in your videos?
How do you make your money to afford a plane and all the traveling you do?
hi amy

Boo to the clown who downvoted.
