- Jocelin Snow and her buddy Brock demonstrate how to tow a motorcycle using another motorcycle. Although rescuing a bike to safety is not a laughing matter, Jocelin and Brock manage to entertain us with plenty of laughs.
Be sure to catch the outtakes at the end of this video.

Just came across a fellow rider broke down on the H1 on Oahu yesterday.
No tow strap, but I carry a lot of stuff, and was able to make a system using a couple wraps of 550 cord.
Not perfect, but I was able to get him off the interstate and safely out of traffic.
Attached from bottom of my luggage rack to both his forks.
It sure made him a happy fellow.
This is super helpful as you just described my nightmare scenario where one bike falls down and drags another bike down. The foot-release thing is brilliant.
Love your videos Jocelin
Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to comment. 😁🤗 thanks for watching!
Very informative! Love the outtakes! Thanks so much Jocelin! ❤❤
I towed my mate twice, back when we were young. First time we used his dads power cord off his mower, it didn't end well as we got all tangled up out side the Queens pub. The next time his bikes front sprocket came off, so off i went to find something to tow him with, all i could find was a long piece of steel off some fencing. So i held one end he held the other and we got home about 10 miles, was a bit tricky at road junctions.
Great video as always. Looking forward to more. Brock is such a gentle giant...he's cool...
Thank you for the tips Jocelin, Learning from the legend is an amazing privilege.....
Hahaha thank you! You are much too kind, I am certainly not a legend. Thanks for the smile! Thanks for watching!

Genius idea wish I had known this a long time ago 😂
Learning something new again from your channel. Thanks
That’s great news!! Thank you Philip! 😁 thanks for watching, I’m so happy you enjoy the channel!
Brilliant Jocelin. I am 65 years old, and have never seen that before. I have always done it the unsafe way, with the Bikes tied together, two wraps around and your foot on the strap is genius (why didn't i think of that). Something i can show my children and friends.
I will even share this on a Face Book Bikers group i am in.
Thank you for your comment, and for sharing! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video. Stay safe and enjoy the ride! 😁
Its the sad music that kicks in on the of a sad tale...crackin' me up here 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Being able to tow a bike on foot like Brock did seems a great way to keep friends.
That was a good demo performed well. Even though I hope that I wont have to apply that knowledge, it´s good to know how it´s done. Thanks for making this video.

Great video.. Very useful 👌👌
Fawzi Qabbo thank you! 😁
Your so funny lol
❤️
Used to ride English bikes thus quite used to being towed, we used a rope, guy behind wrapped rope twice around throttle and gripped it hard, any problems let go.
we dont all ride BMWS, Did you mention on chain driven bikes to avoid the chain side if possible on towing bike??? Love the vids!
jjustj that’s a great suggestion worth mentioning. I was hoping the right foot peg on the tow bike would eliminate the need to talk about chains.... with the exception of the rare opposite drive. But thank you and I’ll definitely keep in mind other makes and models in future videos.
With loop to no loop print out how to tie a suitable knot laminate it and put it in the bag. If you bike slides down a hill and needs pulling out you will need to know how to tie it to the bike. Also consider dyneema 12 strand rope buddy tow is rated to 1800lbs 5mm Dyneema is 5070lbs 6mm is 7054lbs both cost £25 but again you would need to know how to tie a loop. lastly when you tow a car the rear car only does the braking maybe that also applies to a motorbike to aid always keeping the rope taught
HI jocelin do you have a link to a video for your trip to colombia and what city was it at thanks
Yeyo Granda hello Yeyo! Ahhh unfortunately I don’t have a video from that trip. I do have some photos on my Instagram @jocelinsnow I am not exactly sure what town it was, but I can find out. Colombia is such an amazing place!! Thank you for watching and commenting!!
Great job now I know a good way to tow. Hopefully never use it.
What is a safe towing speed to stick to?
Thanks!
Great question! I would say it depends on the terrain. Paved roads may be slightly faster than technical gravel roads. The best speed is a speed that both the rider towing and the rider being towed are in complete control and can stop safely if needed. A consistent speed is important (when possible) to prevent slack and tension on the tow strap. I hope that helped! Thanks for watching!
I appreciate wanting to have a low pull point, but that technique sure seems like it would stress the footpeg/mount, which is not the strongest location on many bikes.
That’s a valid point. I haven’t experienced any issues with the foot pegs towing this way, but the adventure bikes typically have rugged pegs. I would advise the riders to select the best possible contact points with the least amount of risk, as each bike and the terrain are all different. Either way, I think there is some give and take, I’d rather tweak a foot peg than get pulled off balance and crash with the bike. I appreciate your comment, and thanks for watching! 😁
Can u tow motorcycle with automobile
It certainly can be done, but I probably wouldn’t recommend it.
