    _________________________
    These agility & skills courses/exercises are designed to help develop the fundamental riding skills of clutch, throttle, brake and active balance by the rider.
    Precise practice in coordinating these techniques can lead to instinctive/reflexive actions by the rider and allow for more precise control of the motorcycle.
    Mastery of these techniques allows the rider to more smoothly transition the bike when cornering as well as being able to react reflexively when encountering unexpected changes in surface traction in off road conditions.
    Depending on your skill level, you may want to make the courses larger to feel more comfortable while you develop these skills.
    Performing these exercises carries a risk of dropping your motorcycle which may result in damage to you or your motorcycle. Always be sure that your bike has the proper crash guards and that you also wear the appropriate protective gear.

      Yes, a Tiger can make a 5M U-turn.
      The first few successful 5M turns, at the apex of the turn, it will feel like you and the bike are going to fall to the inside of the turn. Proper counterbalancing posture and being smooth with the friction zone is the secret.

    • @advmotoskillz
      @advmotoskillz  3 года назад +1

      Hi Charlie. Yes, Rope Around A Tree is 100% friction zone with clutch constantly in & out. All of the other exercises have a heavy focus on friction zone control. A great way to practice this technique is actually walking next to the bike letting the clutch in & out without use of the throttle (certainly cover the front brake for safety). In our Elephant Turn Practice video ruclips.net/video/gU7SYX-jg2Q/видео.html there is an example of this process. Thanks for the great comment...you are right on

    Hi, cool exercises, I have one question, @5:35 how do you put the bike in gear after walking around it? My shift lever Is on the left foot, and you seem to not hold the clutch while walking around the bike, how do you reengage the gear? Thanks

    • @advmotoskillz

      Hello 👋🏻
      Glad to hear you are enjoying the video.
      A little more info on this particular exercise you mention-
      Ride on One Peg
      * It is performed in first gear.
      * Ride one length with right foot standing on left foot peg.
      * At end of length - kill the engine.
      * Walk to the right side of the bike and restart the bike.
      * Ride back with left foot on right foot peg.
      Let us know how you do👍🏻

    What do you use for making the boxes? Is it just caution tape held down with rocks?

    • @advmotoskillz
      @advmotoskillz  3 года назад +1

      In this case, yes it is caution tape. Typically, we just scratch lines into the ground ... it makes for a nice 'green' build out and can not damage the bike in case of tips.

    Not bad.....some of the same stuff we do on our Harleys when doing competitive riding. I wonder, because of the low center of gravity of the BMW, how much better I could perform? 🤔🤔🤔

    What is\are "dabs" ??? never heard of them/it.

    • @advmotoskillz
      @advmotoskillz  3 года назад

      A "foot dab" is when you quickly put a foot down to help clear a technical section or to help regain your balance if you feel you are about to tip over. "Dab" for short... 👍

      Every bike/brand has different configurations for sure. Emergency procedures should still be practiced in order to have proper body positioning to help ensure the best possible outcome when hard braking skillZ are needed. 👍

    Не могу понять когда райдер отпускает правую руку (ручку газа) ,чтобы держать верёвку или перекладывать мячик, то мотоцикл работает на холостых или как? (холостые не всегда вывозят). Спасибо

    • @advmotoskillz
      @advmotoskillz  3 года назад

      Да, мотоцикл на холостом ходу. Скорость регулируется с помощью зоны трения. Сцепление включено… сцепление выключено… См. Наше видео с советами по зонам трения мотоциклов ADV.
