- Grab some popcorn! Let's take a deep dive into how to install PPF on the bumper of a vehicle. From the easy parts to the more advanced details regarding pushing down large fingers and making tight seams. We'll go step by step over every part of this bumper and there is plenty to learn along the way. This is an older Tesla Model S, a 2015! The front end of this Tesla just got a fresh coat of paint and is in need of some Paint Protection Film in order to keep it looking new! This bumper definitely has some difficult areas.
Better bring your A Game!! Another thing to note is that this 2015 Tesla Model S 90D is black. Black is by far one of the most difficult colors to apply paint protection film on. Black allows all of the work marks in the PPFs adhesive to be seen very easily.

Great information!!!
I just had Brent install PPF and front window tint on my 2023 Tesla after failing miserably on self install attempt. Brent is a master! I can’t even see the film on the car. It’s look absolutely amazing! It literally made the cars paint look better. He does amazing work! He also removed my terrible attempt at PPF without an issue. I drove from Nevada to his shop because he’s that good.
This seems like a good business to be in but hard to break into. Definitely interested in it as I am detail oriented.
Funny that we never get this old tesla, but I just did one yesterday. I'll do this bumper any day over the new ones.
