Hi Kevin and gang! Great work in all your videos! I’ve been a bit late to your channel but am happy I stumbled on to you! I want to thank you for replying my comment when I asked about super juice. You were the only RUclips channel who has ever replied my questions, and To know that a RUclipsr took the time to reply questions from the public was enough for me to create an a Patreon account just to support your channel. All the best in your and your crew’s endeavours and I wish you a successful and happy life ahead(: Warmest regards, Ian
I make a very tasty, well-balanced variation of the Blue Hawaiian which I call the Pacific Fleet on account of its navy blue color. The secret is the addition of acid adjusted blood orange super juice, which is an amazing ingredient. I never make normal orange super juice, it can't compete in flavor, aroma, or color! I use 2oz lightly aged white rum and eschew the vodka (Foursquare Probitas/Veritas rum is fantastic for this), 1oz blood orange acid adjusted super juice, 3/4oz Giffard or Marie Brizard Blue Curaçao, 3/4oz Coco Real, 2oz pineapple juice. Shake on cracked ice, open pour and serve with a straw of course! If you're feeling really extra, float a small model aircraft carrier or battleship in there 😜
I love this episode very much ! I have two question. For citrusy gin, can I choose TANQUERAY NO.TEN GIN, The Botanist Gin or beefeater? i don't have cream whipper. Could I skip the blue foam step? What do you suggest if there is no blue foam in my clerify cocktail?
Thanks for another awesome inspiration and educational video! I have a question, why do you need citric acid for the foam? How does it affect the taste? I want to make the foam with coconut water and coconut milk so I'm concerned about the curdles.
What proportion should we use of each component you used for the clarified cocktail like the acid and the cellulose while making a 1 litre Bach of the cocktail
Thanks Kevin for this awesome recipe! So on the methylcellulose note, since I don't have a syphon yet, is the recipe fine as is? (Or if anyone can help😅)
Would be cool if you did something with black locust/false acacia blossoms. They have a beautiful honey like aroma, I like them much more than elderflowers
That can be done too, but then you'll have to wait for the foam to settle. Otherwise, it will be hard to measure the correct volume of the syrup. Vacuum blender might be helpful here, but I haven't tested it yet.
Thanks Kevin I’m trying to elevate my home cocktail game and am trying the inverted blue foam milk washed version this weekend! How many servings does the recipe make?
Hi! With pleasure! As far as I know, they are looking for a distributor in the EU, so we still have to wait a bit to get a chance to order. I hope this will change soon 🤞
I tried making this foam twice, and followed the directions. It never looked like how yours looks. It had bigger bubbles in it and then settled into more of a syrupy float as the foam bubbles popped and changed into just the float. How did you get your foam so "foamy"?
Let’s say I just want to make the milk washed version sans foam - would you recommend the specs as is or add an orange liqueur into the cocktail for washing? (I wonder how a clarified blue curaçao would look ahha)
I've tried a version of this drink and... for me... the vodka ruins it. But that's just me. Other than that I'm sure it's great but I don't have all these powdered ingredients and don't think I ever will.
Hey guys how do you solve the problem of too thick pineapple juice? Do you just add water or also sugar? I tried juicing pineapple yesterday but didnt quite like the result. Or am I just wrong and its supposed to be thicker than other juices?
Wish u would leave the ingredients with a link as it’s hard to understand sometimes what u are saying and trying to stop. Rewind and play again the video

Can you make a complex cocktail with Riga Black Balsam???
I love Tiki drinks in Summer, but that’s just Hawaii roll 😉
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Both were good!! I've never had a Hawaii cocktail prior to the shooting of this episode. Wouldn't mind drinking either of them somewhere on a beach. 🤩
The foam is visually striking.🍹
glad you like it!

It's hard, but I always try to reply on most comments. Thank you so much for taking an extra step for supporting the channel! It means a lot! Cheers!
I'm always in for something tropical / tiki / on the sweet side :)

This cocktail sounds great! Thank you for sharing!
🍹tiki is near and dear to my heart. this version is a brilliant capturing of the spirit with the oleo.
Thank you!
Very stylish and fun to watch 🍹
Glad you like it!
I’d like one Inverted Blue Hawaii. Sure! I can come back next week for it! 😂❤️👍🏼
The inverted version is a fascinating variation. I'm getting to the point where I'm really thinking of getting a whipped cream dispenser. 🍹
Brilliant twist to modernise it by going the milk-punch route! Pozdrav iz Dolenjske.🍹
Cheers to Dolenjska! Hvala!
Love the look of it.🍹
🍹Very nice content. Now to watch the rest of your videos.
Ah the Blue Hawaii. Reminds me of home
Cheers!
FANCY!!!!!!!!
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Good tips on milk washing! Excited to try it!🍹
Cheers!
Oh wow, this is just art.🍹
Thank you!

🍹 It's fun making (and tasting!) these Tiki-tuned-Cocktail-Time episodes & cocktails. Look forward to the next one!
Thank you so much! I think you'll love this rum. It's one of my favorites, especially SE1. Cheers!
🍹as a Brazillian i love seeing cachaça in your videos haha

i don't have cream whipper. Could I skip the blue foam step? What do you suggest if there is no blue foam in my clerify cocktail?
from theese three I would go with the No10. If you don't have a siphon, you can blend the foam and scoop it with a spoon.
Gorgeous cocktail 🍹
Thank you!
🍹love this idea
🍹Cheers!
I love watching your videos while high
😅🥂
🍹I plan on experimenting with your recipe this weekend! It is TIKI TIME!
Cheers
Let me know how you like it! Cheers!
please make a vedio on new equpments used in bar and its uses, and diffrent unique ingredients and uses
🍹 This is almost a food science channel. The blue foam was beautiful.
That blue foam is definitely perfect for the 'gram
🍹I've come to enjoy making and drinking tiki style cocktails for their less complex bashy style. This version seems brilliant and it looks stunning.
Thanks a lot!

🍹 I'm not big into Tiki, but if any drink is made for milk washing, it's definitely a Tiki cocktail!
You are right!
Could you share where you bought the glass itself? Love it!
Kevin shaking his cocktail looks like Michael Jackson doing the Moonwalk. Both Cockztails look stunning!!
Thank you! 🕺
How many cocktails can you make with the quantity of this recipe? Do they scale proportionally?
Awesome
🥂
🍹🍹🍹Awsome!!!
I used blue curaçao instead of cointreau 3 drops of blue food coloring, and the foam is left with a very intense blue
🍹 🍹 🍹
🍹great recipe
Could you also use the original recipe and clarify it and use the foam?
Maybe with a regular curacao and not the blue one?
I am honestly a cocktail profane, but I love how you do it.
P.S. anyway, you will never buptise me in your cocktail church 😅
Thanks Kevin for this awesome recipe! So on the methylcellulose note, since I don't have a syphon yet, is the recipe fine as is? (Or if anyone can help😅)
Hi! You can just blend the foam and scoop it with a spoon. Thank you!
Hi Kevin! Any tips on how to juice a pineapple without using a juicer machine like yours? Thanks!
You can blend and then strain it.
Hi when making the foam, what is % ratio of Methylcellose and Xanthan gum do you use?
I want someone to serve me this exact thing🍹❤
Cheers!
Would be cool if you did something with black locust/false acacia blossoms. They have a beautiful honey like aroma, I like them much more than elderflowers
I love Black Locust! The season of this blossoms is ending soon, but I will keep that in mind for the following year. Thank you!
@@KevinKos I just made some sirup this afternoon, and made Rhubarb Sorbet with it :D
Are you able to use this method of blending methylcellulose without hydrating first when making super syrup?
That can be done too, but then you'll have to wait for the foam to settle. Otherwise, it will be hard to measure the correct volume of the syrup. Vacuum blender might be helpful here, but I haven't tested it yet.

For some reason when I try to clarify the cocktail comes out completely clear/translucent but with a yellowish color. Any idea why this could be?
Good evening, thank you for your video and to share technics and knowledge with us.
Where can i buy Liber& co products in Europe commerce sites?
Hi! With pleasure! As far as I know, they are looking for a distributor in the EU, so we still have to wait a bit to get a chance to order. I hope this will change soon 🤞
🍹I will try and make a pain killer on cachaça instead of rum 😁
Haven't thought about using cachaça in other than Caipirinha
you will be surprised 😉🥂

did you use the right methycellulose? It happens that someone uses Carboxymethocellulose which doesn't work here.
Is there somewhere that I can read about using methu and xan gum in foams? I always end up making this weird jelly when I use them in my foam
Make sure to use Methocell not CMC
@@KevinKos I do not have CMC so not sure what I am doing wrong
Kevin, is it necessary for the pineapple oleo sachraum to use the lemon peel? Or also omit the peel and make it only pure pineapple?
No need for that. I wanted to make it more citrusy and bright.
Let’s say I just want to make the milk washed version sans foam - would you recommend the specs as is or add an orange liqueur into the cocktail for washing? (I wonder how a clarified blue curaçao would look ahha)
in this case add orange liquour to the punch as well.
I've tried a version of this drink and... for me... the vodka ruins it. But that's just me.
Other than that I'm sure it's great but I don't have all these powdered ingredients and don't think I ever will.
How is the saline solution made?😢
20g salt dissolved in 80g of water.
8:10 I like that you don't use an Iphone! 😆
I gave it a try for a month, but it only confirmed that my initial choice was the right one 😂
Hey guys how do you solve the problem of too thick pineapple juice? Do you just add water or also sugar? I tried juicing pineapple yesterday but didnt quite like the result. Or am I just wrong and its supposed to be thicker than other juices?
you can try adding some water or you can strain it through a filter if the pulps are a problem.
🍧
Fuck yes!!!!
🍹is it bad that I’m from Hawaii and I’ve never had this cocktail? 😂
I don't think so. You can skip straight to the elevated one 😀🥂
