- Today on Booze On The Rocks, we make Three Blue cocktails: a Blue Cosmopolitan, a Blue Margarita, and a Blue Lagoon. Blue cocktails turn heads with their color and flavor. Each of these cocktails contains Blue Curacao, which is an orange liqueur died blue. BLUE COSMOPOLITAN
1.5 oz/45 ml Vodka
.5 oz/15 ml Blue Curacao
1 oz/30 ml White Cranberry Juice
.5 oz/15 ml Lime Juice
Method
1. Add all of the ingredients to a shaker tin.
2. Shake with ice for 10 seconds.
3. Fine strain into a Nick & Nora.
4. Garnish with lemon twist.
BLUE MARGARITA
2 oz/60 ml Silver Tequila
1 oz/30 ml Blue Curacao
1 oz/30 ml Lime Juice
.25 oz/7.5 ml Agave Syrup
Method
1. Add all of the ingredients to a shaker tin.
2. Shake with ice for 10 seconds.
3. Fine strain into a salt rimmed rocks glass over fresh ice.
4. Garnish with lime wedge
BLUE LAGOON
1 oz/30 ml Vodka
1 oz/30 ml Blue Curacao
4 oz/120 ml Lemonade
Method
1. Add all of the ingredients to a shaker tin.
2. Shake with ice for 10 seconds.
3. Fine strain into a highball glass over fresh ice.
4. Garnish with lemon wedge and a cocktail cherry.

One of my favorite blue cocktails is the Kenny's Cooler, from Texas Roadhouse, try out this recipe
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
1 oz Peach Schnapps
1 1/2 oz Coconut Rum
1/2 oz Sweet & Sour
6 oz lemonade

I found this blue martini on a random website
1.5 ounces vodka
0.75 ounce blue curaçao
0.5 oz lemon juice
0.5 ounce pineapple juice

So the blue lagoon is just like the electric lemonade but with water instead of soda, right?
The Blue Lagoon is Blue Curacao, Vodka, Lemonade. Where as the the Electric Lemonade has soda.
