Baldur's Gate 3: Infernal Mechanic Location to Fix Karlach's Heart (The Herllion's Heart Quest)

- Guide showing the location of the Infernal Mechanic Dammon in Baldur's Gate 3 (BG3), which is an objective "Find an infernal mechanic" part of "The Hellion's Heart" quest to fix Karlach's engine for her heart. It mentioned "Karlach needs an infernal mechanic to tune up the engine she has for a heart. There might be one nearby".
This is the first location of Dammon the mechanic in Act 1. Later he will move to Baldur's Gate. So you'll need to collect infernal iron for next time you talk to him to help fix Karlach's heart engine.

Literally looked at multiple different guides before I found this. That you so much for giving us a straight answer instead of vague instructions or 10 mins of unnecessary bs beforehand
You can meet him again in the camp in the shadowlands, and again in Baldur's Gate. The only exception is if you killed the Tieflings, but if you do that Karlach will leave the party or kill you.
The tieflings at the beginning of the game?
I didn't wanna look it up because I thought I would come across some legendary blacksmith or something and I didn't wanna spoil myself. Turns out, he was in the first act, lol. Now I am in Shadow-Cursed Lands and I can't leave and in the next act, Karlach dumps me since I didn't help her out

There's a Smith in the underdark I believe
just to avoid quest bugs, do karlachs mission first which is kill the fake paladins. I meet dammon before karlach's quest and the journal was out of order

with so many options it's annoying playing trying to know the options. There is no way knowing everything. It will be more fun just going with your choices. The game has insane replay value, one because of that. But I understanding having a hint here and there might a nice idea.
@@SpookyFairy ohhh most definitely I agree these games should be played with choices and consequences but it sucks sometimes because sometimes you think ohhh well I can’t get that upgrade piece maybe later and now I’m completely locked out of it because I didn’t save this person or talked to this person and having to do A whole new run or even just going back 5-10 hours is wild lol but I guess that’s the charm of these games so you’re right ! Lol
It will be frustrating to play trying out all the options, not that it's even possible, or at least lots of them. I can understand completionist and don't maybe who don't plan to play more than once, but they will have a terrible experience savescumming the game and trying out many options and they will never get everything in one go anyway. I recommend going with the flow and embracing the outcomes, at least in most cases.
@@SpookyFairyI avoid save scumming it's just not fun. I only do it if I'm going for a certain outcome of I've already passed the check but it was my last save. I don't like retcons in my games so I try a make the same choices

Were are the mats to repair her heart?
Sooo he didn’t die as far as I know, but after the new update he just disappeared and my quest failed. Im in act 3 and don’t see him anywhere so I guess Karlach is a kabob now?
Can I still play helion if dammon killed in last light? And the ox killed too
It's my first run and this guy unfortunately died in act 2 when the tavern was attacked, so is my Karlach gonna die?

Wait i wanna ask something because i cant find it anywhere. what if i saved the grove and killed goblins. how do i get them to baldurs gate if they are already safe jn the grove ;(? pls help somebody (idk if in that act 2 they go there automatically or not)
They leave by themselves after the party they have in your camp after you save the grove
So killed all the goblin leaders and when I searched this up he is gone, great 🫠
