      My favorite dialogue option's gotta be the one where at some point in the story you end up in a library where a curator has told you in a very low voice that the magic books they have there are *very very sensitive* to audio disturbances. Cue dialogue options:
      1. whisper
      2. another whisper
      3. "IS IT TRUE BOOKS, ARE YOU REALLY SENSITIVE??"
      4. Leave quietly.
      If you picked the funny option that part of the library will explode and leave your party at almost half health.
      If you come back to talk to the curator you still have the option to tell on books very loud: "HOW ARE YOU BOOKS ARE YOU STILL SENSITIVE??"

      Fun Gale combo. The sparkstaff and the magic missile amulet. You get an extra bolt on every cast, an extra cast per long rest, and EACH bolt triggers the staff. So with 4 bolts, that's +2 charges, 3 times, followed by it triggering the burst damage. MM goes from dealing like 10-12 damage, to a guaranteed 20-25.
      There are a ton of other charge related gear you can give him to take this even further. My favorite being the boots that electrify surfaces you stand in + the ring that makes you immune to electrified. And if you choose to make gale conjuration, you get free shortrest create water. If you wet an enemy, the MM is doing even more damage.

      @TheEstafista 5 месяцев назад +3

      Yeah that's not such a good option later on.
      1. Those ghouls rarely hit.
      2. They have only 20 hp.
      3. They explode on death and can start a chain reaction and deal quite alot of damage.
      4. They are AI controlled and NPC meme here applies perfectly (like taking a dash option to engage and then not having action to attack then dash wasn't needed to get there)
      5. In later game stages you have to keep yourself away from them because of that explosion.
      One good redeeming quality is that claw attack can freeze enemy if they fail a save and every hit on that enemy will be a crit. It would be really good if they couls actually hit. On avarange 1 or two land hits out of 4...

I think it comes down to whether or not you find his brand of humor funny, and also how attached you are to magic items/which items you give him. Honestly I liked Gale's humor (and Astarions's and Shadowheart's who share similar snarky senses of humor). At first I thought he was a bit of a jerk, telling my druid that her magic wasn't the same as a wizard's magic of whatever, but he was so charming I kinda couldn't help but forgive him lol. Also to add on Astarions bite. Afterwards when he has the bite ability, you can have him use it on an enemy (that has blood ofc), which will also give him the happy effect, while you dont get any debuff, meaning he gains an attack which will let him get a +1 to attack rolls and more, until the next long rest, for essentially free. Later on (SPOLIERS) in act 3, if you let him complete the ritual after killing Cazador Szarr, he will become vampite acendant, the most powerful form a vampire can be, which no only removes the everlasting hunger for blood, but would let a vampire go into the sun without any problems (tho the tadpole is protecting Astarion already), but doing so will also give Astarion the Acendant Bit ability if he has the bite ability, now instead of a measily 1d4 of damage, the acendtion bite will deal 12 to 72 whole damage, as well as inflict powerful negative effect on the target, giving asatrion the happy condition, and not to worry about damage resitances either, for the ascention bite deals piercing and necrotic damage.
