@@chrisd7803 yeah but he's not at the inn, he needs the ox to TP to the inn through their messed up coding and because you dont see him sooner it ruined karlacha questline because she gets less tune ups, so just do everyone a solid and dont let anyone think its okay to do that

There is also an Inferno Iron that can be located in the Zentariam hideout where you take the locked chest.
heres a very short version of this quest:
make sure to find infernal iron BEFORE you save the tieflings, and have dammon do the first repair in the druids grove. youll need to talk to him to get the quest, and the first piece will be in the blighted village. i dont want this to be super long, so look up all the infernal iron locations, you can get 2 pieces in the first act, i believe there is a piece in the underdark, though i could be wrong.
then, can save the tieflings by killing all the goblin leaders and the entire goblin camp so they can travel to baldurs gate, but as we know they arent able to get to baldurs gate by the 2nd act..
once you get to the shadow-cursed lands, go to dammon at the last light inn, and give him the 2nd piece. if you dont have another one, dont worry. he'll give you a quest and mark the infernal iron on your map, make sure to do the convoy ambush and get the lantern from the spider guy, you can get into the mason guild if you let the pixie out of the lantern, which will also give u karlach approval. i dont know what happens if u dont let her out, but i would let her out anyways. then, just get to the marker on the map and you can get the infernal iron. then, obviously, go back to dammon and there you go, you finished the quest!
by the way, please dont ask me about act 3 in the replies cause i havent gotten past it, ive only gotten to the shadow-cursed lands in my main game. also, you can complete by act 2, so as long as you dont let dammon die at any point, and get at least 2 pieces youll be fine. also, i dont think anyone else but dammon can fix karlach. so once again: DONT LET HIM DIE!!

Hey, so I already have Damon 2 iron pieces in act 2, that I found in act 1.
I didn't see him in act 1 so I held them after reading what there were for.
He sent me on a quest to find 2 in act 2.
I have 2 with me, though he won't take them .
No options in the menu, only to trade or leave
I've traded the iron to every one in my camp, nothing..
Have you ran into an issue where he won't take any?
Healready gave me the speel about how they aren't going to save her, and etc
But karlach can now touch people after I gave her a hug.
Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with these infernal irons that are in my bag
Nice guide. Apparently I already had all but the smith one. Seeing her so happy almost put a tear in my eye, lol. One small note though: I wish you would have left the ending at the end of the video, just in case we wanted to see it for ourselves.
I got Karlach much later so she met with dammon only in the last light in and by then I had already used two infernal iron. Can I still do the quest if I get only the one he points to?
Dannon was killed along with all the people in the Last Light Inn. Great, because I have a nice collection of Infernal Iron.

You come across him in the second act
If you saved the tieflings, they will be at the Last Light Inn in Act 2.
So do you only need one piece of Infernal Iron to complete the quest? Or how many do you need?

Did you help the Tieflings by killing the Goblin Leaders? Or did you just skip that part? I skipped it, and not only was Dammon not at the Last Light Inn, but he also wasn't at the Forge of The Nine in Baldur's Gate.
he can’t get to baldur’s gate if the goblins are blocking the tieflings’ path. you have to kill their leaders to scatter the goblins and allow them to leave the grove.
Dammon isnt at last light, i save the thifilings from emerald grove and rescue them from moonrise. its a bug or someting else?

He's not there. Just loaded an older save, got to the INN, and just two cows chilling. Karlach is sweating at camp like she is dying. Is this a glitch? The Inn hasn't got attacked yet so... do i need to go find him?!

You'll have to wait till Act 2 where the blacksmith relocated to Baldur's Gate

you need him in act 3 in baldur's gate

So did I mess up? Because I talked to him at First Light Inn. I gave him the first Internal Iron and the first dialogue played. When I want to give him the second one. He doesn't do anything

Bruh I'm the same as you, I met him in act 2 and I found 2 pieces of hell iron, but when I gave it to him, he didn't make a heart for KARLACH but instead made it into 2 weapons.

in act 1 Dammon is not in the hollow in his tent. Does anyone know what could cause this?
I've got the same problem. The only 2 characters in the Hollow are the trader and a wounded adventurer in the tented area where he is sleeping. He will not interact when you try to talk to him. He simply continues sleeping.

I didn't go over all the different outcomes for obvious reasons. I hope others might shed some information regarding your specific choices and how it affects the progression of the quest.
