I don't know if it has been mentioned but you can also use a glue tape for your pasting needs. The packaging looks like those rolling white out/correction tape. It's really easy to use (and not bulky) especially for sticking the photos on your journal. 😁 looking forward to more journaling content ❤
Omg The way you decided to organize your stickers could not have come at a better time!!! I never would have come up with something like that on my own. This is seriously a game changer. Like I am SO glad I didn’t throw out all my old Pokémon card binder sleeves because I almost did! 😅 I also now I really want one of those printers… hehehe I’m getting giddy 😆
I felt the same way! I was just thinking about her today, oddly enough. I hope she will heal up and if she ever feels like it.. come back to art again. 💙
BAYLEE. I literally JUST got a Canon Selphy this month too and it's been SO good for my journalling! Tip that it works great for printing photos from your Switch too like Zelda TOTK screenshots. 👀 If I had this printer back when I was deep into Animal Crossing I would have been non stop printing.
Acid free double sided sticky tape and photo corners. 3M makes some I think. They have scrapbook specific, but if you may be able to find the same thing but it’ll cost less/have more tape if it is not labeled/marketed for scrapbooking.
I would suggest tearing out every third page in the sketch book because it’s going to get very thick . I make altered books where this is the normal practice so when photos, stickers, and ephemera is added, the book doesn’t get a huge gator mouth. Also Temu has great stickers for a few dollars!!
You should definitely sell a Kiki at the window print 😍 key chain or something, I dunno, but I love it! the roses outside the window, the shape of a perfect cat.
Yay for Art Journaling and Scrapbooking and Junk Journaling!! I had such a good time looking at all the stickers and recognizing different ones and different youtubers stickers... it's an addictive hobby.. good luck! P.S. I immediately started looking at how much the mini printer was because that's freaking fantastic.
Just got back from a holiday with pockets full of paper detritus and ended up watching this going "oh no... I need to start a scrapbook" every few minutes. I didn't even know you could buy tiny photo printers, that's such a game-changer.
I miss the convenience of printing photos and having them immediately. I’ll have to look this printer up. As a professional photographer, I learned long ago that it was more cost effective and better quality for a lifetime to just have the lab print them. I took and take A LOT of photos. Inkjet also sat on the paper, whereas as “developed” prints didn’t. Plus $75-125 for cartridges even 15 years ago was ridiculous when prints cost less than 5-7¢ at that time for the good stuff; less for the Walmart version. About 15 years ago Canon and HP went to soy ink. I’m deathly allergic to soy ink, but it also has no longevity. I found out the hard way at what it was and within a few weeks a photo I printed for Papa faded about half way; sitting on a shelf completely away from any direct light let alone sunlight. Meanwhile prints and postcards I’d made for my business before the change with the old ink are still just as colorful today as they were when I printed them. I loved the paper I found too; had to buy up every pack because they discontinued it. 😢
This is awesome, I want to get back into journaling like this! I'm inspired to organize my sticker collection too! Also my order arrived right after you ended stream yesterday, it was perfect timing!
I love that you are going to start an art journal! They are so much fun to make and it's a lovely way to store your memories. I use kid's glue in mine and it holds perfectly, you don't need fancy stuff, use what you have 😉 Thank you for the inspiration, now I want to sort my stickers in an efficient way like you did ❤❤
Oh man the sausage and perogies is such a throwback to my childhood. is that a Canadian thing to eat for dinner? wild Also, very nice to see that you kept my sticker (and my pin on your wall!) from way back 2019. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and thankful
Yes, perogies are fairly commonly eaten here, usually with sausage. I've kept all the stickers & things I've received, and I'm sure there are more stickers trapped in my containers of fan mail. 😅
Omg I'm so excited for your art journal journey!! I've been wanting to start as well and started collecting stickers, washi, pretty papers and scraps😂 I'm mostly gonna be getting that same printer you got after seeing how well it prints! Please do share how long each ink cassette lasts (like how many prints were done before it needs to be replaced). ALSO, maybe you can look into reusable sticker books for the loose stickers or the 'lonely' ones on sticker sheets so they don't take too much space in the binder. Maybe you can make reusable sticker books too for the shop👀
Trim the photos without a border then stick them to white cardstock and trim the border to the size you want. I use double sided adhesive squares to stick photos to cardstock or into journals.
I cant commit to permanently sticking stickers, so i have a variety of things I used to put them places where I can still move them. Magnet tape, double sides tape, sticky tack, sometimes I will use laminating sheets to protect them if i REALLY thing i will want to move them around a lot
i know you might not want to start cutting up your notebook but sometimes when i want to reuse a sticker i just cut around the paper its on and use a glue stick to stick it on paper again
Woah wait I see some of my old art and stickers I sent you a long time ago! So cool! Some of those were my OCs so they're not from any anime or anything. They were from a webcomic I made a long time ago XD I also made the Gravity Falls stickers. Oh boy I'm plesasntly surprised to see all my old artwork.
Baylee scrapbooking and journaling? Wooow! I have a lot of stickers and I never feel like I have enough except when it is time to organize them 😅 PS. My luna moth sketchbook came yesterday and I LOVE it! I kept showing it to everyone at work yesterday and they loved it too. It will be my reading journal for next year! And it took only 3 days (+ weekend) to arrive to Slovakia, I was so surprised!
I don't know why I remember this but your animal crossing stickers i remember you didn't like the background color. like it wasn't matching your original. lol I can't remember what I ate for breakfast but I remember that
I love my canon selphy. I catalogue my resin moulds by taking photos, do four shots per 4x6 photo, and then cut them out and put them into a book. I also write details down on the page like size of finished piece, how much resin, how popular it is etc. It’s basically a visual encyclopaedia for myself!
If you still want to use the stickers you stuck down in the sketchbook, I used to cut out the sticker and use glue tape on the back paper part and make it sticky again. Although if you did some double sided pages that wouldn't work :/
Yep lol @BayleeJae pull it out to the side and you can cut down larger sheets. I use the same trimmer for my larger 11×14 and 9×12 sheets of Watercolor paper... it's thick cotton paper too.
Oh no the washi 😭😭 but yay for journaling, I have been making a big scrap book for me and my husband’s wedding + past adventures. Honestly it’s so nice to have another creative outlet besides drawing sometimes 😅
its annoying and tedious (as if organizing stickers isn't already lol) but the sleeves I have are 'double sided' in a way so the individual pouches have another plastic layer between that makes putting some in the back even easier. I did cut up sheets of paper to stick into one of the sides behind whatever sticker I had in there. Its an extra step of course, but I found it really worth it. Especially for stickers I have from artists like you and jelarts and applecheeks it helps really show off what you have in that slot. I have my stickers organized by vibe/content. but ones from artists I have separate and organized by artist because I know if I want the vibe that artist has I can just go there and see all of them. (botanical, xrays, tropical/colorful ones I wont use more likely than not, Christmas, food, animals, dinos, journaling: 'note to self' and text ones like that, cats, dogs, space, travel, witchy, vintage:vibes not actually vintage). Hope that may be of help to anyone lol.
I would say it's a little on the expensive side. A box that comes with 100 sheets of photo paper and 3 ink cassettes costs $55 CAD. I'm assuming printing 100 sheets means using all 3 cassettes, so it will cost me about 55 cents per printed sheet.

@@BayleeJae Oh, I see... it was bigger in terms of revenue and quantity sold! It was a little confusing - given your past shop updates - so I do appreciate your explanation, Thank You.
@@BayleeJae that makes sense, but i've seen people (scrapbook people and teens) talking about their new photo printer while still printing other things on normal printers. I don't get It. Its seems a lot of money wasted to me... 😅

Regular printers aren't designed to print photos as the most common sold printers are inkjet and the ink smears. You'd need a laser printer which is more expensive overall (not including the ink refills which is also expensive) and most people don't own one. Those printers can print photo quality prints with photo paper but unless you're printing a lot of things on top of photos that would require an investment in a laser printer, it isn't financially worth it.
I'm going to be buying one of those printers. I had an idea if you go on a trip maybe by stickers from that trip do journalist so you're not over collecting 🥰
RESTOCK ALERT:
The notebooks will be in the September 30th restock, as they're being delivered later today.
Yay!
YAY! Hope to get 1 of each 🤞
There’s something so satisfying about watching those photos print one color at a time!
