I rarely comment on videos, but this one sparked something. It made me remember when I first started watching your videos, a long time ago. You had just quit a job and would save up to buy a Copic or 2. Since then, so much has changed for you and I wanted to let you know that I am so proud of you and although I don't comment a bunch, I am rooting for you. You are doing great.
I can totally relate to making a small area of work my convenient with your tripod set up! I just got everything to professionally photograph myself modelling my hats and other product photos, it made me giggle every time I noticed the convenience
I saw my order being packed in that segment. Very excited to receive it. Seeing the Copic color chart almost complete is so satisfying. And omg, I was trying not to laugh out loud at work when you attempted to use your teeth on the nibs.
Measure your drawer (where you have your copic refills). Take poster board, cut strips the length of your drawer, also strips the width of the drawer. Don’t forget get the depth of the drawer so you know how width to make the strips. Figure out how many refills you want across the drawer and how many down the length. Cut slits into your strips about halfway down for as many spaces you need, i.e. 12 refills for the length and 6 refills across, cut 11slits in the long strip and 5 slits in the short strip. When you short strip into the long one, you will make a grid. This grid will fit into your drawer and your refill will fit into the grid. Will keep your refills upright and you can organize them.
I used to watch baylees vlogs in high school. Im now going into my senior year of college! Im glad to see shes still vlogging and the spirit is still there. Seeing baylee do her own business makes me feel more motivated to work on my senior thesis (which i struggle with due to a lack of structure)
SmallRig makes heavy duty great products. That’s where I got my phone filming rig and those lights I told you about. That’s the only problem with quick release plates; either they’re so big they balance on flat surfaces but block the battery door or they can’t sit on flat surfaces.
I highly recommend the hex charts from Sandy Alnock. She has one for copics and various pencil brands. It’s laid out like colors and it makes it super easy to pick blends.
I used to use her chart until she issued a full-on copyright strike against my channel because her chart was in my video. Not a copyright claim - a copyright STRIKE. I had to go to RUclips's online copyright school to regain access to my channel. I would promote her chart all the time and probably got her so many sales while my channel was at peak popularity. Then she came after me. Absolute clown. 🤡
I was so excited to see that copic haul finally ! I've been waiting for it since the charting livestream ! Also the topic tweezers are amazing for removing the nibs! Never had any issues with them it was a very worthy investment! Also I feel like having extra nibs replacement is always nice so if you realise a nib is damaged mid illustration you can change it immediately!
I was at the place were I am buying my markers, and they told me about the copic app that you can have your copic list (adding it with the barcode scanner) and making wishlist for markers and refills, its amazing!!!!! I have bought a refill without having a marker by mistake and buying a second refill lol.
Have you considered getting a varipole set up? This way your setup is movable if you choose and there are no holes in the ceiling or wall. Really gives you a lot of flexibility to be able to change or move around.
38:53 Just a suggestion, how about a rolling cart? Either from IKEA or an art store one. That way you have them all together. Sorry your refills and your extra markers underneath your table.
You need the copic app - you are supposed to completely turn off the whippers. Great art haul. The art stores in Birmingham are awful they don’t carry copic. Make sure the chisel end cap are tight, there’s an issue with them if they’re loose your ink will dry out. I have 8 that have that issue I contacted Too and no response.
You may not need this recommendation now… Delta arts in Edmonton carries Copics and refills, for a lot cheaper than most places. I know they ship as I’ve had some crafty friends from Quebec order from them. In case you are still looking for some!

I bought two wooden soda crates from Michael's and combined them. There are pieces of styrofoam in the back of the cubbies to prevent the markers from going too far back (one soda crate is too shallow, two crates makes it too deep). And I painted it white.
Any chance you'd ever have a local pick up option for people in the Calgary area? I'd drive down from Edmonton rather than paying shipping 😅 Definitely understand the need for privacy, I just think of a few Edmonton artists who have home studios and offer local pick up or studio days.
I wouldn't move the copic refills. like how often do you need to refill? it would be a shame to have such a block on the floor just for that. Or just take the drawer out when you need it. Seems like a small thing?

I also noticed that Copic's Eggplant color is different from Prismacolors Markers(before they discontinued them) Prisma Eggplant is like a brown color whereas Copics is the dark Purple/Grayish like

She's used a lot of other brands in the past, including Ohuhu and as far as I know she still has those Ohuhu markers somewhere. But I think her investing so much into Copic is answer enough to your question.
I’m actually 3D printing my own Copic case. I can’t find anything that I like so and what I’m currently using just doesn’t look nice so I’m just making it myself 😂 It’s kind of expensive because of all the filament and it’s going to take a couple months due to not having a super fast printer but hopefully it’ll be worth it
There was a sign for neutral, but nothing about wipers. Mine were in the "off" position. They turn on automatically when they sense water. I think the only way to turn it off is in the car's menu settings.
That's what I thought at first because the person in front of me left their car on too. My wipers were going nuts and I was scared the brushes would catch them. 😆

No, I won't ever do that. I do offer free shipping on orders over $100 as my way of alleviating shipping costs for customers.

Shipping was $37.15 USD for FedEx Ground (the only option they gave me). So pretty typical for a small international parcel.

You're supposed to put your car in neutral and put your wipers on off even if you have a sensor when going through a car wash. There should be a sign.
