I really liked being in Central and Admiralty. Fairly easy to get around, except for the lack of organization on the streets (no real street grid and very few buildings having numbers), which made finding things difficult since GPS doesn't work well among so many tall buildings. One thing that made it easier is how the store signs are almost exclusively in English. The further away from Central one got, the more the signs became bilingual then predominantly if not almost exclusively in Chinese.

Hong Kong will be truly Chinese with some colonial elements, the most in China. Central in HK and some parts of Kowloon are among the most Westernized districts; the rest of HK is mostly Chinese with some Westernized elements.
