It will be a VR world with its own President, government and economic structure. And then one day it all corrupts and everyone riots in real life and destroys civilisation.

Michel Hneineh112 I think it all has to do with the cinematography itself.
They tend to hold the camera at a very specific angle (or maybe it’s a bodycam) and for some reason they have like the most perfect and consistent step rhythm of any human I’ve ever seen.
The combination of those two + 4K (which can capture low light EXTREMELY well) makes it all look like a game.

While the united states may have problems with shootings japan has problems with extremely high suicide rates, high molestation rates in public trains, and super powerful yakuza gangs. Walking in the middle of the night by yourself is always dangerous and leaves you incredibly vulnerable. This is not limited to just the states.

To all of you who say it looks like a game, try setting the playback speed to 1.5x. Now THAT looks like a game :D
    27:22 Impressive character shadow rendering.
27:57 Strafing like a boss while keeping his eyes on the target.
28:37 Unrealistic player movement after stopping at 28:41. Even though the graphics are amazing, the animators still have a long way to go.
31:26 The player prefers to use the arrow keys to look up an down instead of the mouse... I'm not judging him. I'm just surprised.

And at night, don't walk on the streets for more than 10 minutes, or you'll get robbed, and most of the time by a 14 year old kid. So don't do that, with friends or not.

Walking never felt so good as when me and my wife went to the wrong hotel after landing in Tokyo and had to stroll for almost two hours to the right hotel with an app like google maps that could not show us the route nor our exact location (consequence of not having internet) but did show north, south, east and west. It was like an urban jungle adventure, with a smarthpone instead of a compass. We were carrying quite heavy luggage and backpaks and hit more than a few streats with dead ends. Other streets took us too much east or west before we could turn left or right to correct our trajectory. It was as dark as in this video (thanks god no rain). We loved every second of it. This reminds us so much of that first day in Japan. Oh, and I decided that I will marry my wife after a month of walks like this one around Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka streets. Sharing this experience with her really changed something inside me, strange as it may sound. Thank you for the channel.

You definitely don't know what it's like to live in the third world. For example here in latinoamerica, you're lucky if you have money to eat, pay rent, taxes and still manage to save something by the end of the month.

A channel with no whiny foreign girls that can't keep quiet.
No small and big talk about Japan.
And no drama seekers that crave attention.
Solid and pure videos of Japan and its citizens. Thank you. A channel like this one is direly needed in the community. 8^)

What can I say, my spirit knows these roads even though I've never been to Japan. Sun sand and sea will never feed my soul like this video does... When I die this is where my spirit will rest.. Such a simple video yet so monumentally powerful of someone just walking and filming with a camera at night... Priceless!

As an American, what immediately strikes out at me is A) how clean the streets are, and B) How people just leave their stuff unsecured outside overnight. I saw multiple bikes with no locks on them, flower bouquets and plenty of trinkets on street-side floor level balconies. It's like crime doesn't exist there, like the idea that someone would just walk by and snatch your stuff is unheard of.

i lived in Japan between 1955 and coming back to the States in NOv 1957. Yes I was amazed by how people in Japan left their areas so clesn unlike many Americans . It is a cultural thing which unfortunately so many in thre US don't teach their kids. I learned this growing up. There was stlen property investigated by Japanese police when we lived off Tachikawa AB> POssibly it was just curiosity which led someone to rnter our car geside or house in KUnitachikawa one night as what was taken was inexpensive.
