Yeah so there is another really awesome bug with the Helldusk armor. Since it considers you to be proficient with this armor when you wear it, you can put it on any character that has NO heavy armor proficiency. Here comes the bug, the gloves that gove you +2 ac when not wearing armor and/or shield will still give you the +2 ac (this also works with the elven armor that considers you to be proficient). This way i got my durge monk ready for the orin fight with 30AC pre combat

I was curious now as well, so I googled it, they are called "Bracers of Defense", it's quite early on, I'll get them, they'll definitely be useful.

@@MichaelHopkinsProWrestling my monk stats without elixir or necklace are 8, 18, 18, 8, 12, 13(+1ethels hair so 14). But now i have my necklace from the house of hope my stats look like this: 8, 16, 8, 12, 16, 14(+1ethels hair). Meanwhile i use an amulet that sets con to 23 and i use cloud giants elixir to set strength to 27. This all together is insanely powerfull since you can use boots to add your wisdom modifier ontop of all the damage you allready do with the 27 strength

roll a gnome, and get adv on half your saves, no special tricks needed.
gnome doesn't give adv on 2 most useful saves - dex and concentration. this armor gives it so

OKAY WOOT WOOT I'll take this in place of container thiefi...I mean "bartering". Lol I love gear that can be unequipped and the buff/condition remains, so useful in Tact and Honor. I'm over 2000 hours in this game and love it so much. If you feel like it's cheating, you need better RP people lol. It's a MAGICAL WORLD, the armor is just generous to our cause!

I just realized FIreSpark stopped saying his Iconic intro about providing us with a "daily dose of video goodness". Maybe it was because he was only giving us an almost once a week dose of video goodness. Or he just can no longer be bothered to introduce himself.
Dropped it a while back an no one noticed. Dropped it for many reasons but the main one being that data shows its best to jump right in with what the video is about. Which is why now I just start with something like "today I"m gonna show you blah blah blah." This also allows me to, when I feel like doing it, put the text on the screen for what the video is about so that when the video auto plays it has a chance of capturing the attention of the viewer. Although I have had mixed results with that.
this bug existed since launch, along with many other similar bugs (all cause item effect last on character, without actually equiping the items)
What else do you know that is like this besides shapeshifters boon ring?
@@Firespark81 i dont know where to begin with, almost every very rare and legendary item that is useful, such as lathander mace, gemini gloves, bhaalist armour. i have a video about it in my channel, though not in english.
@@Firespark81 and altough it says lasts until long rest, actually most of them last permanently. to remove them, reequipe those items, and those effects will be removed.
I just tested those items and you do not keep their buffs.
@@Firespark81i just tested it and it worked just fine. i think there is a specific order you need to follow when equiping them, and you did it in your video without realising it. i will make a guide about it in english and post it in my channel.
been using it a while but now its out, they will patch it :( somethings should be kept as secrets

This is exactly why when I start my durge I'm not going to kill any good people until act 2, I can't kill the Grove because I want the armor class boots mattis gives in act 2 but, I Also an just gonna go to last light get any items I want and then proceed to be evil lol, win win for me I get the items and my evil charecter gets to do an evil deed

This is not "OP armour"... more an OP bug. I hate exploits like this.
The great thing is that you don't have to use it. I'm not going to use it, but if someone wants to, all the power to them. It's not a competitive game, and I'm sure it'll get patched soon. People can play however they want in their own games.

Unless they patch it how can you be sure it's not intended? I mean we can assume all day but until it's actually patched out we have no proof. Which means you are just not making use of a cool item because you yourself don't think it should work like it does. 🤔

If you watched the video you'd know because he told you, that don't have to actually wear the armor. Just equip and unequip it.

Like I told another person. Until they actually patch it, how do you have any idea it is not working as intended? You do not. I mean, we can assume it's not just like I do in the video but that is all that it is, an assumption. An assumption is not a fact.
It's not like we are going out of our way here to do some crazy exploit where we glitch through the map or shut down the AI. We are putting on a piece of armor and taking it off. That's a pretty ambiguous action.
So because we do not know for a fact that it is not working as intended you can't say it's cheating nor should you feel bad for using it or call it as such.
@Firespark81 if you need to explain it that long, it's probably cheating. And this effect is clearly supposed to last while you're using the armor. If you're ok with it, having fun and not ruining anyone else's fun, then who cares? It's still a clear exploit
