Thanks. It is delicious. I changed the recipe a little to fit my needs. Instead of meat , I used cooked lentils and substituted milk for coconut milk. 😋
Interesting interpretation 🤔
Added bell peppers and jalapenos to this recipe and WOW this is absolutely amazing and tastes incredible! Isn't this supposed to have raisins in it? I'll add those next time, or may toss in some mushrooms or cheese as well.
Yum, will make this
Wow delicious 😋 thanks for sharing 👍 🎄
Looks amazing ! I’m going to make it this coming week.
Can you tell me if it’s very sweet please? If it is, I might have to skip the apricot jam, my husband is a diabetic.

That's a bobotie??? I made a bobotie once using a pre-packaged box of ingredients from the supermarket, and it was quite different. It contained apple, stringbeans and creme fraishe. The herbs were pretty much the same though. Not criticising you, Cooking Foodie. I'm definitely gonna try this too!
On a different note; love the music!
Apples and string beans 😶that's definitely not a bobotie. Try this recipe it's a legit bobotie recipe.

Can I prep the meat the day before and then when I get off work the next day I can make the mixture and bake? Or will that make it taste funny? 😅
Never heard of ussing carrots before. Also, where's the raisins? Still, looks like a good recipe!

What does the bread do?
I wonder how that taste I feel like eating shepherds pie, looking at that
It's actually a recipe from Malaysia. The slaves brought the recipe with them. Cape Malay cuisine is very distinctive. Try making breyani. Google the many Cape Malay recipes.
It may started in Malaysia but South Africa perfected it. Therefore, it is South African now
False. Actually read up on the subject before you spew whatever you think is true.
