- [Educational] Unranked to Grandmaster but only playing TRACER - this is the entire video from Kabaji. It took approximately 12 hours and 6 bathroom breaks, but it was done in one sitting. The commentary and tips in the video help with positioning, game sense, and more. Tracer is one of the hardest heroes to climb with in the current meta, but she is also very rewarding to master. For those of you that clicked on this because it was in your recommended this is some great Tracer Game play, but so far 1:38:45 has been my favorite moment because the Hanzo just... fell
watching a top500 player in plat(EDIT: it was in GOLD) and even though hes DOMINATING with 38 kills in the first set, they the other team still held it to overtime. Just goes to show you how hard it is to carry a bad team. And with so many smurfs, its near impossible to climb.
But then he proceeds to get to GM in about 6-7 hours after that so your argument is invalid 🤔
@@javalavadingdong You're missing my point; What im saying is; how hard it is to get out of a certain rank. Hes in the highest tier of this game. His aim tracking is incredible, and you can see how much he has to do to win these games. So when you look at the call it, above average player, that should easily be mid diamond to low masters; is actually stuck in plat because players on the team are lacking that bad.
You can see how hard he actually has to dominate to win these lower ranked games. Even when he communicates for heals, barley ever gets them; calls certain things out; no follow up. He's like a pro aimbot. So yes, he will get out of these lower ranks.

Edit 2: forgot to mention that I did this on an iPad and whenever you comment on the RUclips app on mobile, you cannot interact with the video at the same time, so that means I had to get another device (my phone in this case), write down each time and game on a notepad, then copy it from the other device to my iPad. It took me about 1hr to find the times and 45 minutes to copy from device to device. Look main point is I did it on mobile and NOT on PC.

@Andrew i once did a solo q gold to gm with mercy to see if it was possible, and i took a more shotcall role during the climb and because of that i now have a firmer understanding of the different ranks. In gold i found the biggest problem was people didnt trust their teammates. For example some supports such as moira will always dps in gold and rant about how they carrying the team at the end of the game that they won or better yet whilst losing start blaming dps and focus too much on gold medals. Tanks aren't much better and dps because they dont get the support or space required will always go on wild flanking missions. In my personal opinion if you want to climb start being extremely optimistic (talking up hype) and yelling at the team with a *cheerful playful* voice; to push forward kill x y and z, get point. Trust your teammates and they'll learn to work together. Of course always climb with just getting better mechanical skills but that was not the point of this comment.
Honestly the reason players get stuck in gold or plat is because they are too busy evaluating the team and not themselves. I watched a stream with xQc, he reviewed a gold tank main who blamed his dps for not killing anything; yet he didn't push shields down to make space, he only ulted when (as orisa) when no one was around and then yelled at dps for dying... well xQc said it best, "As tank you're giving your team a fork when they need a hammer"

The first game was so wholesome and for golds both teams put up a hell of a fight. You could tell all of them were really excited and trying their best. Very good wholesome game :) put a smile on my face.

When I play Tracer, I'm unable to deal with the enemy Roadhog who went afk and is just standing in a corner, because I'm so goddamn terrible. That feels worse.
Tbh I don't understand why people think McCree is a good counter to tracer. The only time I lose a 1v1 against a McCree is when the McCree flanks me and gets a drop on me.
As a tracer, I have 3 blinks + a recall. The McCree only has a flash. WAY harder for the McCree to land the flash.
