it does that with every account that hasn't placed ever, then the next placements are based on your previous ranks

@@joshbeuck3672Not always true, I’ve always been Bronze since OW2 launched but the S9 reset threw me in Gold on my Tank despite not even using the Entity known as Mauga

seeing him have crazy stats and still lose some games in silver/plat proves that low-mid elos are impossible to play in and i will die on that hill

Honestly kran was just wildly unlucky in those games + he still had a 90% wr 30-3 to get to diamond.
It more shows that theres a maximum cap to being able to carry while being counter-swapped hard and getting map and team comp diffed.
Being able to switch + only requiring a 55% wr to climb means u don’t have to be his level of skill to leave those ranks.

It's a fun challenge, but Kraan, you can't complain about other people smurfing when you are smurfing yourself. You can argue it's a challenge or whatever, but you're still a GM/Champ player in metal ranks...
I agree, but a dps smurf is so much harder to defeat than a tank smurf simply because of the dps' potential to kill the other team and hard carry team fights, whereas a tank struggles more to do that the vast majority of the time
smurfing pharmachy is beyond tryhard compared to tank

I really loved how top 1-100 player struggled to win in silver/plat elo even when he was doing all the job and now just imagine a more casual player getting dropped to this elo and being doomed to sit there
Found myself in a situation where winnig in high plat/diamond is way easier than winnig a gold/plat game

Just duo with someone who's also good and you have a higher chance of winning. Basically the side who makes less mistakes wins, even then, if someone's losing but makes a great play, it can cause a win. Ofc higher ranks make better plays and less mistakes so that's why it's easy for them to climb
@@TamWam_ I do believe to have a great chance to win you really need a trio for everybody to have at least one stable player on all roles
@@maksimmeskov3227 true but most of the time I don't have three available, in my case usually two good players can lead to a win. I usually do double DPS, one DPS one support, or double support. I just let the tank be random bc a lot of the times they end up being good, and even if they feed and overextend the supports save them since it's either one or two good supports guaranteed

for the people saying "it's funny seeing a smurf complain about smurfs" there's a difference between a solo tank "smurf" doing it for content and education than a duo pharah and mercy duo smurfs doing it to boost, a tank no matter what rank you are, in the state of the game now is near horrendous to play and dps is literally unfair if you're going against smurfs

Actually the percent u calculated is wrong in this case since the random algorithm of JavaScript is milliseconds based so it more likely way more percent chance to get the same result 20 times in a row
