@@Monkey_30000 they didn't have to leave. They could cap the first point, push the cart for 1 meter and get off of it. That would make a draw impossible and the game would end next round

if you leave a game then you get banned from comp for a specific amount of time. They didn't want to leave because of that.

It’s funny because the hog is a friend of mine lmao. He did the same to me in a game, I was playing Genji and he and his friends rolled me. My team were pretty angry but I was just having fun and they were impressed because I was somewhat decent, and not tilting. Me and the hog became friends, although I don’t play as often I’m trying to get back into it. 😂 that dude is a goat

There’s a channel called SI Not Found where in ow1 they tried to see how high the score could go, they ended up at 54 before the game broke on them, atleast from what I remember

Imagine being this upset over something that looked SUPER generic in terms of playability. Let it go. Enjoy OW for it's PvP and move on. Play D4 or something for story. At least you're not waiting for like, portal 3 or something, right?

@@Snikpoh1390 While this is true and I personally wasn't interested in PvE, you have to realize that this affected PvP as well. Overwatch's PvP was neglected for 3 years with no new content or updates while under the guise that the team shifted their attention to work on PvE. That is the only reason why people were willing to put up with the stagnant state of the game, especially when double shield became meta, was because they were told essentially a standalone version of Overwatch would be coming out. If they didn't neglect PvP and continuously worked on it and gave updates (and even with OW2, where there's so much missing from the first and the matchmaking, rank system, and progression systems are terrible), then there wouldn't be as much of a backlash. It's the fact that they essentially spent 4 years fucking around while not doing anything to keep the PvP game alive, while using the OW2 title to switch to a very lucrative F2P model via the expensive store.
Even then though, PvE would have brought a lot of new players to the IP, who would probably then trickle into the PvP community. So it all just hurts the playerbase.
Imagine you are sitting in there for almost 1h30min and you told your girlfriend, mom, etc that you ll be finished after one more match😂😂😂😂

tbf the enemy players were definitely way better than the rest of the team, shame though. The Ram actually seemed pretty good for his rank though.

I've been playing the game since S10 OW1, the longest game I've ever had where everybody was unironically trying was a 9-7 win on Gib where the other team C9'd accidentally for us to win, fun times 😂
Longest game I've ever had was an 11-10 junkertown and an 8-9 havana. Took 10 years off my life.

man, i played an open que comp a few days ago. 3 tanks, eventually 4, and me as Ana. it was like my own personal hell i had to take a break and sit silent for 10 minutes after that.
I accidentally queued open queue yesterday. Ended up playing Ana with 3 tanks and a sym. Kinda rolled them though so all good

I disagree with this video showing why we shouldn't have open queue. I would argue this is EXACTLY why we need open queue, it's so perfect and unhinged.

That being said there still are gold/plats rq who got boosted to gm in oq and its such a nightmare bc you either carry them or you just lose (i had a guy who tried to take dva from me yesterday who was a literal gold tank playing dps ending up 11-11 and i had to hard carry just to win the game)

I didn't know total mayhem had a ranked mode
this happened to me before on hanamura in overwatch 1, i was plat at the time, and the enemy team CLEARLY just let us cap the point constantly and they turned it up every single team fight they had to win. eventually we all just gave up and didnt even walk to point on attack. was about this length before we completely gave up

This could be a huge overreaction but I feel like blizzard just destroyed all OW creators chances of getting bigger by scrapping the one thing that was supposed to differentiate OW2 from 1, cause I really see no way overwatch goes up from here
Not an overreaction at all. Everyone ONLY started playing this game for the hopes of this "Awesome" PvE mode coming. Because ASIDE FROM THAT, it's literally the same exact fucking game as OW1. And people had LONGGG quit that game. So...Yeah. This game adds absolutely zero value now and most people will just quit after that announcement. Because now it's BACK to just being Ow1 with a BIG balance update and visual update. That's it. So creators will suffer big time from this. That's why I commented above that Flats should stop with OW videos for awhile and start working on A LOT more variety or another game period.

I played open queue with a buddy or two of mine and we did five tanks on this map and steamrolled them. Open queue is definitely note the mode to put in comp.

i mean, ive once stalled out a qp match for like an hour-15 or so after befriending the enemy team (we did eventually start helping each other get achievements), but but the dedication to just keep playing when the enemy is so clearly toying w u is kinda insane.
I must say I appreciate you uploading these.. I came back to the game recently and placed gold. I didnt think I deserved to be in gold, maybe bronze or silver at best.

Open queue is genuinely fun. I enjoyed the tank synergies and stuff. Tanks did live for way too long sometimes but if you don't like the game mode just don't play it. Also the HP Nerf makes widow kinda insane.

To Flats question whether plats can play with bronzes in open queue....yes they can. I get 5 wins in open queue every season just for fun and to see whether it would put me higher than before...I'm plat 3 and I regularly have top 500 players in my games :D :D Which basically means they are high diamond but in open queue they are Top 500

This was definitely one of the comp games of all time
The longest game I've ever played was somewhere around the 40-50 min mark and I played my heart out. It was something like, 6-6, 6-9, or 9-9 and we lost bc we got team killed but this was back in OW1. It was the highest kills I had ever gotten too.
This though? This is insane. I was so wiped after that I honestly can't imagine going 15-15 AND OVER. Big props to everyone who bothered to stay because that's actually insane. 1 hour and 25 mins in just one game. That's just... wow
the longest match i have ever had was 30 mins in open queue, both team have 2 tanks and 2 support, it's really tough for us cause it's 3am, it's really painful

no it literally just goes on forever, the longest i've personally done was 12-11 but others have had games that go over an hour
My highest was a 11-9 Junkertown role queue. Honestly I dream about how well balanced that match was.
