I believe Ephesians 4:30 is warning us not to grieve the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit being He that is the seal. I believe we should love, honour, obey, respect, and glorify the great blessing of the Holy Spirit within us. Even for those who are saved, sin is still poisonous and destructive, and will result in suffering, grievous harm and death to the flesh. Flee from sin.
I used to be afraid of god. Now I am not as afraid. I knew god is not going to send me to hell. I was afraid of god because I was afraid of him sending my brother to hell, my mother to hell, and many other people. I was and I am still afraid because there are only 2 or 3 people who are still lost in my entire family. my goal is to lead them to Christ so I am praying that god can remove their hearts of stone and give them a heart of flesh. (forgot witch verse it is) I am looking at how other atheists got saved. should I challenge my little brother to explain the death burial and resurrection of Christ? should I try to learn about the mind, what happened to the people who were crucified and use that and the information on the death burial and resurrection of Jesus to lead him to Christ? should I ask him to explain what he cant explain. Thank god for eternal security.
is there anything that describes in detail what the new heaven and the new earth would look like? I'm curious. god can create amazing things. his imagination is greater than all of ours combined. a lot of times I wonder what new plants and animals he will make. many questions for god that and many other things. just thinking about what to look forward too is exiting.
I have seen someone use Rev 3:5 as argument against OSAS. What is the correct dividing of Revelation 3:5? “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”"
even though were under grace. grace is not an excuse to sin
