- March 29, 2019. The day Brexit was supposed to take place, I opted for this ride instead of doing touristy stuff in central London. I'm glad I did this. It was such a unique experience.
Great video. I did this about a year before you and it was a wonderful experience. So much food, such good value for money. After covid when it returns (presumably!) I plan on making a trip again on it.
On South West railways now you don't even get offered a tea or coffee let alone breakfast.

Did you notice the four mile-long tunnel which takes the Great Western Main Line under the Bristol Channel (or, as the Welsh call it, the Severn Sea) between Gloucestershire, in England, and Monmouthshire, in Wales? In the middle it's the lowest point anywhere on the British Railways national network! It was the world's first undersea railway tunnel!
I could enjoy some wonderful journey in Wales through this video. I truly thank you from Japan.

The "Gerald of Wales" luxury dining trains, which run three times daily between Cardiff and Holyhead, also offer a full, on-board meals service to First Class ticket holders.
@@yasunari65 - The "old, historic part" of the First Class customer lounge at London's Paddington Station is actually Queen Victoria's private waiting room, where she would be welcomed before boarding her train to Windsor!
Nice job on getting a train with the nicer seating for the pullman service must say it looks very nice certainly plan on giving it a go soon
Everytime ive dined on the GWR pullman ive done the lunch service and had the steak every time. OMFG its gorgeous the steak and u also get a decent amount of potatoes and veg 😀👍.

- Transport for Wales also offers a full cooked breakfast to passengers travelling First Class between Cardiff and Holyhead, and vice versa, on its "Gerald of Wales" luxury dining trains!

According to the GWR web site, on London to Swansea trains last orders are called at Bristol Parkway!

@@yasunari65 Oh ! Tucson, Arizona !? My sister's husband & their friend ,a drummer, both are from Arizona ,too ! I've been to Phoenix. It was too hot to breathe even !! I asked the locals there how they breathed in the heat ! One of them replied " We don't breathe here !" Lol.🤣😅👍It was summer ! So..!
