7:00: "I am the happiest, right now, that I have ever been in my life". Nothing more needs to be said, really. Love that. It's what everybody deserves. Keep on keeping on. 👍
As many have said G, you bring and have brought joy to an awful lot of people( especially during lockdown), your enthusiasm, and the love you have for trains really shines though in every vlog you make, but most of all you are a beautiful person inside and out, the world NEEDS many more people with your outlook and personality, Your journey from those dark places to where you are now is so inspiring. Carry on the great work G. Looking forward to he next one. Stay safe.
That was brilliant. I am sorry to hear you have had rough times in the past. I have also had difficulties. There is always tomorrow though, the sun always rises and we can begin again. You bring a huge amount of joy to those of us who watch you. Your seemingly boundless enthusiasm is infectious. It is good to know that doing what you do brings as much joy to you as it does to others.
Excellent video, G! Long may you continue to enjoy being GLovesTrains, and you're also giving thousands of us enjoyment as well. Nice to see that the Jurassic Park set hasn't changed much in the last couple of years too!
What a great video. Full of positivity, enthusiasm, laughter and smiles! A typical GLovesTrains video! It's great to hear someone say they are happy in life... it's a real breath of fresh air that is sure to pick anybody up! You go G! 👍
different type of video but like i've said before, you bring so much joy into my life and the lives of others, so keep up the great work G and i cant wait for next weeks video
Hi G, I just wanted to say that I’m really sorry that you’ve had a rough patch of your life, I’ve experienced it to, and it’s not fun! I also wanted to thank you for never failing to cheer me up with your lovely and positive personality! Best wishes from south west London!
Thanks G, really enjoyed this particular blog. You are a really nice honest person so it was good that you shared some personal things with us ‘fans’. I can so relate trains becoming a lifeline for you during a difficult time. I hated School, couldn’t wait to leave, trains and signal boxes became my escape. I had two railrover tickets as a 13 year old and did over 7000 miles in two weeks. I went on to become a signalman….sad to say…I still love my trains….oh and walking old railways and canals plus a bit of wild swimming. Wonder what the day job is?. Take care. 🚂👣🚴♂️🇺🇦
Same here, way back in 1974 , things were not to good at home and for some reason I was drawn to my local station Stoke on Trent, from then on I spotted and loved travelling by train, it was an escape .Great video and really well done
Hi G, I just found this video afyer watching your latest one and now I have a better understanding of who and what you are about. You are clearly in your happy place now, enjoying your life creating some great memories. I loved the clever bit of editing where there were 2 Gs...that was clever... Take care, Jon B.😊
Yes, come visit Canada! The train from Toronto to Niagara Falls will probably be the busiest train you've ever ridden. During the summer they run 12 car double decker trains and the morning departure from Toronto typically had around 1500 passengers on board.
Smashing vlog G. You present a good and truthful tour of your love for the railway. Bring on some more. PS I know Niagara falls very well but if you seek further for a vac break try trains from Paris to the Palace of Versailles, the flowing waters and statues are not by lakes or canals but gems to behold. Chris
Thank you for your entertainment. I watch you at night, I have no TV. I might start some ventures on the Train network. ."Thank you for the Inspiration"🙏
Hi G , thank you for your hilarious and wonderful vlogs. You’ve helped me get out of a bad place and (along with another train vlogger who’s name starts with G) has inspired me to get out for an adventure by train. Keep up the good work 👍
Wonderful vlog again G. Great Q and A. I actually knew a bunch of your answers. Glad your little snot checker is back to work but is now a cheeky little knickers thief too! Naughty! As far as I'm concerned, your vlogs are the most entertaining on RUclips. Miles of smiles and yours are so infectious. 😂❤🌊(flowing water)
I came across your video's on you tube last night Llandudno (11.09.24) I am very impressed with your enthusiasm and the places you have visited, so I have subscribed ... I like the way you are full of youth and life! So Good On Yer! A question ... Have you been to West Kirby on The Wirral Peninsula ?
Really nice Q&A. I don’t think I’ve ever done a Q&A from Instagram just live ones myself lol . So it was nice to some of these questions and answers! I enjoyed watching as always.
Hi G you are brilliant. This a brilliant vlog your accent is amazing. I love trains. So can understand how much fun & interesting it is. Keep posting xx
Woo-hoo,another great video G 💯 Preston is a classic mainline station,i lived in Ashton on Ribble for a while and was intrigued by the history, there used to be a line branching off it's south end where the viaduct is. Noting your love for long walks by the canal Chesterfield is the place you might want to visit, you can walk all the way from the station towards Staveley,a distance of 5 miles, but halfway through the journey at around 3 miles, the canal path runs parallel with both the former Great Central Railway "Chesterfield loop" (look out for an occupation bridge and an infilled footbridge) and the "Old Road" Midland Railway which is still active with Class 66 freight and the occasional DMU,Voyager & Meridan heading into Sheffield on a diversion. At the Hollingwood Canal stop off near Barrow Hill there is the remains of both Staveley Ironworks Railway Station (parts of one platform still intact) and the huge derelict Ironworks site, whilst a 5 minute walk to the north from here will bring you to Barrow Hill Roundhouse, which is chock full of steam & diesel locos, and an outbuilding also hosting Deltic preservation. There are plans to re-introduce stations on the "Old Road",one of them bieng on the former site of Barrow Hill Station which is planned to be renamed "Barrow Hill & Staveley".Would be nice if you came and did a blog of the station site, then return in 10 years time when it is open again! In addition to that is Markham Footbridge, which is just 400 metres north of Chesterfield Railway Station, and Tapton House, once the home of George Stephenson. This area is trainspotters paradise, both because of the open girder nature of the bridge (no high fencing to pear over) but also the sheer variety of passenger, freight, charter & steam which passes through.🥰
Ooh, Niagara Falls! Highly recommend going there ❤ Went there donkeys years ago when I was in Buffalo - which is also a lovely sweet place to see, for a Day -but not an awful lot to do after that.
Did you know that from Preston station you can quickly get to where the canal basin used to be, then follow the route until you get to the start of what remains of it? Once you get there you can visit the Millennium Link, which is the only new piece of canal construction in more than a century?
Ah, Preston Station! Been there on the way to Blackpool, and it was absolutely heaving that day - came down on a lovely LNER Azuma, and went First Class for the very first time in me life! Felt really posh!!! Thanks for a fun video, and the admission of a wee bit of bus enthusiasm...!
Recently found your channel, follow a few railway related RUclips sites (couple in US) but your's has a unique style, sensible video duration and usually great scenery. Very watchable.
You keep just being you...You bring a smile to so many faces with your vlogs...also you have so much in common with us too...a lot of your answers would have been mine too..although the Pulsars are a bit bread and butter for me lol...You really must do the Heart of Wales line.... spectacular all year round... keep em coming G, it's what Tuesdays were made for.
Great Vlog G and a massive thank you for all the good work you put in, your a superstar. You say you like walking I have done the Monsal Trail this week but on a bike you would love that one, don’t forget to let me know when you come to Yorkshire will get you this cab ride
THANK YOU, G for all the hard work. II admit I stumbled on to your blogs while skiving off instead of doing my medical misadventure rehab and I will say that the Kirkby Stephens episode was my favourite and I got so jealous. My love for trains grew from a Canadian cross-country rail trip but the ultimate was 35 days from Hong Kong to Frankfurt via Mongolia and Russia by train. KEEP up the GOOD INFORMATIVE blogging. Bore da G
Another fantastic video. Only you could make a Q&A actually interesting and different. Cant wait for the future of your channel. And everything else to come 💕 xxx
Ha - Preston's my favourite too! My family moved to the area when I was about ten and I used to take myself off to the station every Saturday, just spend the day looking around the station and watching trains. I still love the place now, I get a little disappointed when I have to change trains there but don't get long enough for a wander around. Btw Heart of Wales line is gorgeous and Arnside is absolutely the right choice - that viaduct 😍
Interesting video. Surprised Parton was not your fav request stop but I see why you would chose Pleasington. Good to see the fountain at Mesnes Park looking in good order. A jewel in Wigan's crown. Enjoyable as always..👌
Brilliant Q&A G, and the snot checker part was brilliant. The heart of Wales line does sound like a good line to ride. And I also agree witht this hobby being a way to escape from the bad moments in life and what have you. Keep up the good work, always enjoy watching your content. :)
The strange and also fascinating thing about Preston station is seeing a train disappear down quite a steep incline onto the Preston Docks line. Many many fond memories of sitting at the stabling sidings on Platform three.
Yes! Come to Canada! Most of the trains you can ride are in Ontario and Quebec. Out west there isn’t much except expensive tourist trains, although we do have nice mountains to visit.
One of my favourite ever train trips was from Edmonton to Vancouver. The service may have terrible punctuality, speed and frequency, but it does have incredible views, service, amenities and comfort.
Hi G, i saw you on the train on the conwy valley line on thursday and you got off at pont y pant I hope you enjoyed your trip on the line, its wonderful scenery and my favourte line to use in wales.
Fantastic Q+A video G nice to get to know you more im the same i like to travel around on trains this also helped me through bad times and watching you're wonderful travels also helps thank you very much hope you have lots and lots more fantastic and interesting journeys ❤❤❤❤❤
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this, and I have to start by saying this is without a doubt the most inspiring channel I have seen on RUclips (and watching your videos has inspired me to think more positively) The Heart of Wales line is definitely worth a visit, but beware if you are thinking of visiting every station, there are 28 dodgy stations on that line with some very long waits between trains Anyway, looking forward to many more happy Choosdays in the future. Take care and stay safe
Absolutely love this video. you are amazing. I found you accidentally and been hooked ever since. your vlog at the train station stay over Is one of your best. the snow did just make it more special. keep up the great work and continue making me love my chooseday nights 😂😂. ohh and you are my first RUclips subscription ❤ thanks g have a wicked week. 💪💪👍👍
Heart of Wales line is gorgeous! Yet people barely know about it, definitely recommend! West Highland Line from Glasgow to Fort William and Mallaig is gorgeous too, actually lives up to the hype.
You scored many points by liking Eurovision. Love the positivity and the happy vibe. The Wigan foodstuff prompts me to suggest you try a filled Staffordshire oatcake …there’s a great shop just down the road from Longport station…
Never tried a Wigan Pie Barn, I heard that it exists and seen photos but never tried one, Brilliant get to know me Q&A G and nice to see your snot checker make a appearance. But to be honest riding trains or siting on platforms is a escapism for me as well, it nice and peaceful. But I honestly do enjoy the hobby and enjoy entertaining for people as well. Awesome Video G
Hi again G.🙂 I don't really comment much (if at all) on any of your videos as I can't think what to add. But I'm regularly sat in the background watching them, either on my pc or on my phone. Hehe. I do enjoy a lot of your videos. You show some quite nice locations, and even more so for e.g. when you visited Lake Windermere... or is it still "windy smere" as you so renamed it?😋 You gave me the giggles at that for a short while. Hehe. I went there myself in the past with a small group of people. It's a massive lake with very nice scenery too. I remember we had a short boat ride about half way round, which made for a good day out. It was some years ago now, and a nice memory too. I never went there by train (never knew it was an option til now) but rather by mini-bus. (from a hostel I was staying at not far from there) I'm now hoping I might be able to visit there by train one day.☺️ Back to this current video... I'm kinda glad you mentioned the train strikes, (just briefly) I've heard about it too and have been wondering if you knew this too. You do seem to know now, so that's good. I feel it does make train travel a bit of a worry though when you can't go out and enjoy yourself travelling on them as you have done for at least a year now. What a shame. I really hope it doesn't last too long so you can go back out and show off more of your excellent train filming adventures to those of us who love to watch them. (including me hehe😋😋☺️) Gosh, I'm so sorry I typed so much. I'm quite embarassed now. It's not normally this bad. I hope I haven't bothered you too much. :-/ I just have one more thing to add. This is just a question I have relating to what I've just been saying about the train strikes. I have a feeling you may not answer, or may not have time. (as I've noticed with some of the other comments on here) Just a very short reply would be fine, (not like my looooong yaaaaawn city one though😋) but If not, no worries at all.☺️ Okay, so just a quick question, and I feel that anyone out there (who including G, also uses the trains frequently) could answer for me if they can please? So I've just been wanting to know.. does anyone out there think they may have any idea at all as to how long they think the strikes may last until please? (this much I don't know) I googled this a couple of days ago, it mentioned half way through June. However it says July under G's video since she mentioned the strikes. So I'm a left feeling a bit confused now whether the strikes are still on or not. I'm assuming you can't go anywhere at all on the trains while this is happening either? Again, I'm very sorry this has taken me a silly length of time to type out. I hope I haven't bothered anyone too much. I'm done now. (just about) Hoping to catch up on watching more brilliant GLovesTrains videos when these strikes are over. Keep going G, your'e doing a really brilliant job with them, you're a fab RUclipsr. ☺️😎
Always a good watch whotever the type of video, I can understand its hard at the moment to get out and about with these strikes all the time but G your doing the very best u can, look forward to the rest of the Wales V blogs when you can get out there again. Keep doing whot your doing as its the very best watch over all others on you tube 👍🙂
It might be my stomach rumbling, but..... Wigan pie barm? Vegan? Yoink!!! (Thanks for the vids, do some more food ones? A train journey that ends with some food? 😁)
Somehow…despite watching all your vlogs …I thought…..only just found this one…..thanks for your honesty. You have created something very special. Good luck . G to G. x. 🚂🚴♂️🤬🇺🇦
Great video Georgia nice to hear that you are in a great place and so happy with your life,by the way your pie barm is known as a Wigan kebab XX 😊💞✅✅👍👍
Question "If you had to do this all again would you?" Question "What would you call your show when your picked for a TV Presenter if you get the choice?" as You are more than Epic, Love the way you enhance the Quality in every Vlog, Turning a frown into Smile wile putting up with a lot of Stuff, you have a Style that would take you for miles, You put new Meaning to the word "G Wizz" G whizzing past on a Train, Keep up the great work , " Highest Bidder for the auction of those Knickers , That would be fun to see who would buy them and How Much they would sell for" anyway Take Care G.
You really need to visit Wem, on the crewe - Shrewsbury line. Breathtakingly beautiful. Two minutes from miles of County and you might even spot Greg Davies who lives there

Fun Fact: I’m sort of in your vlog when you stayed in a station. I was aboard the Midland Pullman and waved as we passed (yes, a real stretch! 🤣).
Interesting video. Surprised Parton was not your fav request stop but I see why you would chose Pleasington. Good to see the fountain at Mesnes Park looking in good order. A jewel in Wigan's crown. Enjoyable as always..👌

You scored many points by liking Eurovision. Love the positivity and the happy vibe. The Wigan foodstuff prompts me to suggest you try a filled Staffordshire oatcake …there’s a great shop just down the road from Longport station…
Loving oneself first is way to spread joy. Loving kindness meditation recommend ed !!!
Great Q & A from you G. I have 1 quick question, what does the G actually stand for ? :)
Fab vid, great channel, thanks a lot!
Try one try one haha, thanks Cyber! Nice and peaceful and best when it's sunny too 😂
It’s barm as in barm cake, try one with a babbys yed on mmmmm
Hi again G.🙂 I don't really comment much (if at all) on any of your videos as I can't think what to add. But I'm regularly sat in the background watching them, either on my pc or on my phone. Hehe.
I do enjoy a lot of your
videos. (from a hostel I was staying at not far from there) I'm now hoping I might be able to visit there by train one day.☺️
Back to this current video... I'm
kinda glad you mentioned the train strikes, (just briefly) I've heard about it too and have been wondering if you knew this too. (including me hehe😋😋☺️)
Gosh, I'm so sorry I typed so much. I'm quite embarassed now. It's not normally this bad. I hope I haven't bothered you too much. :-/
I just have one more thing to add.
This is just a question I have relating to what I've just been saying about the train strikes. I have a feeling you may not answer, or may not have time. (as I've noticed with some of the other comments on here) Just a very short reply would be fine, (not like my looooong yaaaaawn city one though😋) but If not, no worries at all.☺️
Okay, so just a quick question, and I feel that anyone out there (who including G, also uses the trains frequently) could answer for me if they can please?
So I've just been wanting to know.. does anyone out there think they may have any idea at all as to how long they think the strikes may last until please? (this much I don't know) I googled this a couple of days ago, it mentioned half way through June. However it says July under G's video since she mentioned the strikes. So I'm a left feeling a bit confused now
whether the strikes are still on or not. I'm assuming you can't go anywhere at all on the trains while this is happening either?
Again, I'm very sorry this has taken me a silly length of time to type out. I hope I haven't bothered anyone too much. I'm done now. (just about)
Hoping to catch up on watching more brilliant GLovesTrains videos when these strikes are over. Keep going G, your'e doing a really brilliant job with them, you're a fab RUclipsr. ☺️😎

Great video Georgia nice to hear that you are in a great place and so happy with your life,by the way your pie barm is known as a Wigan kebab XX 😊💞✅✅👍👍
Have you been to Scotland? I love riding the Scotrail HSTs there.
Question "If you had to do this all again would you?" Question "What would you call your show when your picked for a TV Presenter if you get the choice?" as You are more than Epic, Love the way you enhance the Quality in every Vlog, Turning a frown into Smile wile putting up with a lot of Stuff, you have a Style that would take you for miles, You put new Meaning to the word "G Wizz" G whizzing past on a Train, Keep up the great work , " Highest Bidder for the auction of those Knickers , That would be fun to see who would buy them and How Much they would sell for" anyway Take Care G.
great q and a g share your love for trains and also spend a fair bit of time at preston although Carlisle citadel edges it for me lol
This was fun! 👍🏼
I enjoy your videos. Thank you very much.
You really need to visit Wem, on the crewe - Shrewsbury line. Breathtakingly beautiful. Two minutes from miles of County and you might even spot Greg Davies who lives there
