I thought we were finally done with the FTW championship. He beat Jericho. Just have him give Taz the belt back and retire it. Have hook MOVE ON. It feels like he hasn't progressed at all.
Maybe they retire it at All Out. At least I hope so.
Considering the gimmic was if Jericho WINS he gets to leave the jericho vortex, and we still hadn't got the samoa joe return, it shouldn't surprise you that this is happening.

I know the crowd was small but dang you could hear a pin drop. Perry attacking Bryan got no reaction. And that awkward silence during Mox's promo.
I noticed how off the crowd was too. I don't normally worry about attendance or ratings but 2500 in a 16000 seat arena after a great PPV is cause for some concern.
Champaign is a tiny market. Plus night before home opener for college football. Only reason a show is there is because Tony Khan is an Illinois Alum. If it’s not University of Illinois related, people don’t go in Champaign. WWE pulls tiny numbers for house shows in the area too. Not saying AEW doesn’t have an issue but the location is a big part of this.

If they made the FTW a straight up hardcore title and moved it away from being about Tazz, I'm OK with it. It's at least got an identity

Also I like how they addressed the reaction Big Bill was getting in the UK by him saying fan reactions change like the leaves of the learning tree. That was actually a very clever line.
I think Fletcher needs to start a solid push for an international/TNT shot in Australia

Personally I want AEW to acknowledge the FTW Title and make it their Hardcore Title. Then unify the international and Continental tile. Keep the Continental rules and call it the Intercontinental title. One less title and both have their own set rules.
problem with calling it that is WWE would jump on them in a heartbeat over the name

Not the best opening to dynamite tbh, was cool to see mox and see a different angle from him but it's not exactly the exciting opening I think we all wanted after all in (like raw afew mania essentially)

They spoke more on it on the Raw review but Dan is leaving to attend school again, so Oli is moving to the Raw Reviews and I believe Luke and Tempest are becoming the Dynamite review team (if I remember correctly)

@@thedoctor3528Both Luke and Tempest critique AEW regularly. Luke did it a ton this episode. They at least give it a chance and aren't coming from a place inherent dislike.
Why is this the last Dynamite review with Luke & Oli? They're my favorite duo, please keep those 2 together even for a different show to review. Just don't put Dan on this show.

They had a crowd of only 2,000 people last night. I'm sorry but there is no excuse for that when it's the follow up to your biggest PPV. You know very well if WWE's post WrestleMania show only distributed 2-3k tickets it would be all anyone talked about that week.

Wrestlemania has like 30 years behind it as the show in wrestling and with Raw after Mania being booked as its own little mini event. Like it's not remotely the same thing. Comparing WWE and AEW will always be stupid.

Excited to see Tempest on the AEW reviews. I don't dislike Oli but it really seems like he doesn't care about AEW as much as WWE and that isn't the vibe I want on the AEW podcasts.

Can't remember which interview it was, might have been with his wife, but Mox is very big on Safir, and I believe she also looks at him as a mentor. Moment I saw it I immediately cheered a little bit, because they'll be a great pair.

Piece of advice, rather than keep badgering your viewers to "support", basically give us more and more money how about you make some better choices. I stopped being a Patreon because of this.
Maybe move out of London, you literally run a RUclips channel that can be done from anywhere in the country. Maybe try up north where running costs (rent, salaries, freelance fee's etc) will be cheaper.
Try branching out to TikTok and Instagram making some better content. Wrestling is in a boom period if you can't make it work it's on you not because we didn't donate enough money.
They shouldn't do these new videos that no one cares about, like the longer documentary types. They clearly not get enough views to justify the production costs.
Also find it funny that they crying for more money, but cannot put out a news video at weekends as a news channel. I am not saying to work full time at weekends but just a small news video should be made when that is your main content. They also have multiple people, so the weekends could have been done in rotation
They do it in London because that's the midpoint for all the people who work for them, they hire dozens of people who wouldn't magically be able to commute up north. They've been very clear that the reason they are struggling is because RUclips isn't paying what it used to, and as a company rather than just an individual + one editor they are naturally going to struggle. One patron sub is worth about one/two thousand views, so pushing it makes sense as a business model
@@aurora________ the documentary videos are a way to film in advance with more evergreen topics. And yeah, they don't put out a news video on weekends, 1 because not alot happens the average weekend, and 2 because they AREN'T making alot of money, and it'd be too expensive to send in another person + an editor + camera person

The fall of Okada needs to be studied. My man went from one of the best to ever do it in Japan to joke midcarder. There isn't much of a difference between him in AEW and his time in TNA other than they let him wear a suit and he has a prop belt that noone takes serious.

Agreed. The FTW has an identity. A defense match is unique compared to the other titles. Its biggest problem is Hook and the FTW is Hook’s biggest problem. Hook is too close to it so they are holding each other back.
I’d get rid of the Continental. It’s tied to a tournament so there’s no point to it for the other 11 months of the year and has a general “just to” problem. It was created just to make Kingston a triple crown champ. Okada won it just to give all of the Elite belts. Claudio challenged it just to go be him and Okada a singles title match in the UK.
I’d swap the Continental for another women’s title. Most would say a tag title but AEW is lacking active women’s teams. So, they should play to their roster’s strengths and create a women’s hardcore title.

Agreed just look at Bryan Danielson. The following show after taking that move.... He was leading Team AEW. And in All in he was higher in the card wrestling for a more prestigious title than the guy to hit him with that move. If that doesn't show how dangerous of a move the Tiger Driver is I don't know what will. Amazing booking by Tony.
