I dont want to see Swerve v Hangman again til Double or Nothing next year. Let Swerve have his heel turn with the Hurt Syndicate & let Hangman fight demons until he comes to his senses.
I hear you saying that the championship picture is a bit muddy, and you wish to clean it up a bit, but i disagree. I think the AEW champ should be constantly looking over their shoulder, cuz they are the champ and everyone is gunnin for him. More over multiple #1 & #2 contenders is great cuz it shows just how talented the AEW roster is. Feuds between the champ, inter feuds between then #1 contenders allows a certain mystic. People don't know what gonna happen next week, so they gotta tune in. Anyway, more inter feuds pls. Love it.
I think that this new group MVP is making could be useful in the long term but it's all about who should be sorting out who is going for what titles. MVP the manager Swerve for World Heavyweight championship. Bobby for TNT championship. Benjamin and maybe Lio Rush for tag team gold. And Powerhouse Hobs for Continental Championship. Hell Bobby could just become ROH champion just to make people seeing them as a threat towards the company.
I think the thing I was enjoying about Hook, Joe and Shibata was the backstage segments. And they really need to feed Hook back into that. He is a fantastic straight man, and in that trio he could be a badass while also being the straight man to Shibata’s comedy translation app gimmick. I look back and one of the best things they did with him in the past was Hookhausen. He needs that again. A bit of levity to accent his quite grounded, stoic character. Put him in conglomeration segments, have Kyle and Mark try to break him every week. Remark at how he never smiles. You do that for a couple of months and the pop when he does crack will be HUGE.
The best part about a will ospreay match is every part but the fact that he makes every usually sequential or predictable move feel so real. Best evidence is the usual bucks pk off the apron to the member of one team and then the other member- instead they take out fletcher, will flies through the air avoiding Matt and trying to hit nick to sweep his leg, nick jumps it and then hits the kick.
New York has become conditioned to 5 hour, long half shows and I think the crowd was pacing themselves. And when you see what they were given during Collison they are not being given quality to stay excited for. Having us pop for the big moments is almost surprising when we end up getting Mason/Mansour fashion shows 4 ½ hours into the show.
One of the worst wrestling crimes of the last decade and maybe longer is how Vince managed to absolutely mess up the Hurt Business. Had literal money right there and just canned it. Bobby was so over too
Been to every Grand Slam and Worlds End the crowds are always hot but the fans haven’t been invested cause the stories kinda suck. Of course we were happy to see Bryan Vs Nigel but there wasn’t enough investment put into it from AEWs part.
In regards to your NY comments.... Im FROM Queens,,live in Long Island now (about 10 min from UBS Arena, which is like 3 min from the border of QUEENS which is obviously technically NYC).... Now UBS and Arthur Ashe Stadium, if you actually dont hit traffic, are like only 20 min away from each other, maybe even less (again, i cant stress enough, WITHOUT traffic lol)... So ya got Athur Ashe show(s), Long Island show(s).. and if u wanna talk about the huge wrestling fans who will go to virtually any show in the area, you can include NY crowds for the New Jersey shows, which aint all that long of a ride either... So now u got 3 places relatively close to each other, with 2 very close, so when u pile in all these shows, at least in my experiences & my fellow wrestling fan friends, it feels like somwwhere between "ahhh, its a little too much/i cant afford all those tickets/i dont wanna take the drive or mass transit," etc.... so that means youre not gonna get as big a crowd or i should say maybe not as RABID or EXCITED the fan base at the show... I dont know how many they did in these 2 or 3 locations per year, or even just this year, but i know it FEELS like as much as 2 in Queens, 2 in Long Island, and MAYBE another 2 in NJ? I get it for AEW as a company, if youre in the northeast area, you wanna book shows all over that zone for eaiser travel, but they might have to consider just one show in Queens, 1 in LI, and i guess "sadly" for travel purposes, theyve gotta be as far apart as possible (of course ur mind instantly goes to 6 months apart)... So who knows,.... just trying to maybe explain a bit why a crowd might not be as hot as they were or youd expect up here in NY, it almost feels like "too many"
I was actually in the crowd, but for some reason, the crowd wasn't really interested in this match. Ive been in every aew grand slam, and each year it has felt more lack luster. For sure the first 2 years we're great.
How dare your friends book a wednesday wedding. Despicable them commiting their lives to each other on such an inconvient day. Disown them immediately.
I know Mox has a "former WWE guy" star power Tony seems to like, but I am just not interested in another Mox title run. Sorry the "in case of emergency make Mox the champ" bores me.
I think they portray like they want swerve. Then he nds up joining forces with hangman. Just for hangman to turn and show he's the leader of the heart syndicate or whatever their name will be
@@cjmoore751 yeah they portray like they want swerve. But they actually don't. And with hangman secretly already being in the group they could use that as a swerve
wishful thinking, but Keith Lee joins the Hurt Syndicate
I love the idea but with Keith’s health complications it is very unlikely. That’s probably why we haven’t seen him for a while.
Keith Lee doesn’t even feel like he’s in AEW!
I just hope the dude can stay in good health and find peace with the shittt hand he has been dealt.
Keith Lee would be a perfect fit.
@@melissakronenwetter6014 But if he’s not healthy, what’s the point?

I’m with Luke what kind of psycho gets married on a Wednesday? Probably had a cash bar too

The new hurt business Bobby lashley, lio rush, Keith Lee, swerve and shelton Benjamin
Keep swerve away. He doesn't need it
AR FOX in hurt business would be cool
One of the worst wrestling crimes of the last decade and maybe longer is how Vince managed to absolutely mess up the Hurt Business. Had literal money right there and just canned it. Bobby was so over too
Regarding the documentary, you should really watch before sharing opinions. A lot of it is them pointing out the lies.
I miss the old collision with the retro promos as the open
My Hurt Syndicate would be Bobby Lashly, Keith Lee, Lio Rush, and the Infintry tag team

Page, Swerve Vs Hurt Business 😍
I really hope ricky sticks around for the hurt squad
Weddings I've been to start around 3/4 and then go into the reception so not all day 😊
SHELTON BENJAMIN AND BOBBY LASHLEY❤️❤️THE HURT BUSSINESS
I think will an kyle should kick don out the family and keep takeshita in the empire as a face trio the team would be beast
Awesome show
A Smackdown and Collision episode is once again, not here.

i think na na is a real thematic clash with sweves character, and it really doest add much to his package
They think we come here for wrestling analysis
Mvp should add athnna to his new aew faction
Would you ever do a tna or mlw or gts review now that you are not reviewing collison anymore

Bring back jobber pete
Confused/disappointed by aew pushing stale storylines/characters from other promotions at the expense of their young homegrown talent.
lol I’m so tired of AEW just picking up wwe guys using them for month or two for big pops then boom hype over it’s fatigue now with hurt business
Do these guys know 1993 is gone and so is the grunge look
Aew is dead
