damn, the book successfully portrayed greg as a person with insane EQ and emotional analysis, what a way of swerving off the sociopathic behavior we've given him, while reading this i forgot all about greg being an a##hole who didnt care about anyone else

I've read a lot of divorce stories but this one actually made me feel awful in general these stories are really upsetting and heartbreaking these divorces happen in real life as well my friend had to deal with her parents divorcing each other in a long time this has made me more aware of these situations not everyday that my friend has to deal with this her entire life and she breaks down crying as well i feel bad for her and her siblings not every single day that she wishes that her parents were together again this still affects her till this day i don't live in my hometown anymore because of being close to my family not every day that i miss her a lot
Yeah, my parents divorced years ago, and it was really hard on me too. Eventually though, I got used to it and I get together with my dad that I originally only saw around 4 days a month much more often.

I really feel for Manny here which is honestly an accomplishment.
Honestly I never really knew that greg would be that affected by a divorce considering that he mostly didnt seem to like being around his family so I though he wouldnt bat to much of an eye and instead would be weirded out with the akwardness but I didnt expect him to be so depressed over it and honestly if greg and rodrick are dealing with hard times on this then I can only imagine how kids in real life feel abd honestly my friebds parents divorced when he was like 6 and in high school right now he honestly has a habit of failing all his classes and I honestly always thought that he is a bad influence and a faliure but after seeing this I honestly feel so bad and now I really want to talk to him and tell him how i thought of him and that I should have known how hard it was for you.
