i love all your vids but i RRRREEEALLY loved this one!!! i do feel motivated. would you consider doing more vids like this? even it was a lil repetitive i wouldnt mind lol
my mom bought me two 12packs of different sized mason jars for christmas a few years ago 😅 but i also save a lot from like condiments & jams too haha thrifting is also a good option for finding jars!
ive never enjoyed watching someone cut fruits and veggies this much before i think its the way you edited it or something cause its like addicting i watched the whole thing regular speed never looked away
like the title says, this is giving me the motivation to meal prep. too bad I'm at work right now 🥴 but I can't wait to get home and find some shit to do with my jars of olives and my decrepit bok choy in the bottom of my vegetable drawer. you rock emily!!
This is a lot easier when you watch someone do it. I feel motivated to prep for next week :) already spent a lot of money on other shit so ima work with what I have this week ooops
LOVED this so much. I highly recommend like stash or even target brand reusable zip-lock style bags for the smoothie prep. and then all you have to add is milk. sooo much easier! xx
I used to just use cold water for pickling my onions but I've been using hot water lately - just adding it straight to the jar. I really don't notice a difference either.
Emily- keep your fingers safe by rocking the knife & moving the vegetable forward into the blade instead of picking it up and making chopping motions! It's faster and safer 💕
If you decide to continue prepping the smoothies like that I suggest thawing it in the fridge the night before. That way it' a bit easier to get out and make the next morn! But i also have never meal preppes smoothies so maybe my advice is not helpful lol
This gave me so many good ideas for prepping(I did the carrot sticks idea and it’s so good!!) and for sprucing up my normal meals; your videos always brighten my day, it’s always an immediate click the second I see a new one posted. From one Emily to another, I appreciate you & thank you🥺
I really have to try that trick you did with the lettuce. I have divorced parents and often when I come back to the other house the lettuce has gone limp.
Your meal prepping is so simple and easy but alas I can't do so much as I want like you cause I have a small fridge. But now I know how to store veggies! 😁 The chickpea veggie salad is such a good fall back meal to make but I never remember it! 🤣
Hi Emily, if your mad into almond butter at the moment why don't you make it yourself in your vitamix? It's sooooo easy, so much cheaper and sooooo much more delicious, just roast your almonds gently, take them out just before they're done coz they carry on toasting after they've been taken out of the oven from residual heat, cool them and using the tamper just blend starting low and increasing the speed quite quickly to high, it only takes about 90 seconds to get smooth runny almond heaven ! Add a little salt and your done!! So easy, you tube has hundreds of videos showing the process and generally in lidl/aldi/trader Joe's the almonds are cheaper in the baking section rather than in the nuts and seeds section, give it a go, you can add stuff as well like vanilla, salted caramel drops, coconut sugar, maple syrup, chilli etc, the list goes on, you could make a video doing it as well ! Happy blending xxx
idk if cooking the onions matters, but when i worked in food and we pickled onions, we didn't heat it up lol we just whisked all the liquid together and threw the onions in
I did the Emily thing of putting carrot sticks + water in a Mason jar in the fridge and I think I left them in there too long because the water started fizzing like kombucha and I swear I managed to create vinegar. How long are the carrots supposed to last? :P

agreed !!
What a freaking treat on this Good Friday!!
Also who is your jar plug? Asking for a friend....

i love prepping the veggies! it makes everything so much easier
I smoothie prep in bags and it makes it so much easier to make a healthier breakfast choice!

Trying to form good habits like meal prep after finally starting meds for my ADHD. this is perfect motivation!
That salad looks BOMB.
For the meal prep smoothies, try putting it in the fridge the night before you use it to slightly defrost the ingredients so they can come out easily
how do you always know EXACTLY what i need thank you for that 😭😭
Love these videos! ❤you're so fun to watch

I love this! I need to start prepping my smoothies like that.

The roasted veggie salad looks so good.
My next big paycheck I’m going vegan again!!! For sure ugh I love u
I really love these video's im still learning from them thx
Looks like you got spring onions! They are great braised 😊
oh HELLLL YEAH now thats a sponsor gurl. good for u!!!
Cold water is good for anything pickled with vinegar. Boiling (no vinegar) is for tomatoes and fruit.
Super helpful !
I love putting my red onions in lemon juice only (w/ salt &pepper) bc I hate the vinegary smell !!

I think the pickle mixture is supposed to be heated so the sugar melts but it also might have to do with the jar suctioning for long term storage
we have a little misen knife and i love it :)
do you have an amazon storefront? highkey i'd love to shop some of your favorite kitchen gear
Tip for the knife- you can put your finger on the back of it for more control. I saw it somewhere and it's way better.
? ? ? How do u do it
Love it! ❤

Where did you get the spinner bowl and what do you use it for?
the maple cameo!
Yay!

Were they in the fridge? They should last a week or two in the fridge in cold water
@@lizpimentel2566 They were in the fridge!
I may be wrong but I think you heat when pickling vegetables so they last longer? Makes it sterile or something like that 😆
Love 🥰 this amazing video from the beautiful & gorgeous Emily and it's a inspiration/motivational video. The food is yummy 😋 & love 💕 Emily.
Those red onions look more like giant shallots. Shallots are the only “onion” I use.
Does that vinegar soak make the strawberries taste like vinegar?
no because u rinse it off afterwards! & as long as u dont leave them in there too long i dont notice any taste!
@@emlyewng Great thanks!
Why do you peel your carrots? I always avoid it bc it feels like a waste of time and creates waste
My lazy ass could always use some motivation tbh
Are you trying to say coffee is not a meal?!🫣
🥰🥰🥰
9:05 - microwawe it...
She is on her Emily Mar*ko shit in this one
lmaooooo i have many motivators but i cant lie that i havent been inspired by one of her vids before
I personally love her 😭
vegan card: a different v card lmao
You can be vegan and never eat a vegetable. There are still grains, fruits, Legumes, nuts and seeds
no way?? 😦😦
