  • welcome!
i finally got one! i got the gordon 20-in-1 multitool from ‪@harborfreight‬
this tool, i daresay is leatherman quality. the fit & finish, the solid feeling tools & lockup. nothing wiggles, jiggles, or wobbles. aside from the double sided bit/bit holder, which when swapped out with a real leatherman bit works like a charm... its probably the best budget multitool of 2024.
i gotta say, this is the best leatherman wave clone on the market ever!!!
and a hearty shoutout to the corinth harbor freight crew. great service, friendly workers, & i always have a good time shopping there.
also, feel free to check out my instagram for extra edc content!
    at jspr_edc on instagram.
oh! please check out this cool video too!

Iv been using the Gordon a couple of months. Its my work carry and I beat it 5 days a week. This replaced my Bibury clone because its lighter and opens smoothly.
My bit does not have the divet. It's square. I stab into thick industrial cardboard regulary. I've cut plastic wrap off metal cages and accidentally hit the metal bars many times. Good blade strength. I keep a carbide sharpener at work. I ride the blade hard and I have to sharpen before every shift. I have used the saw to cut three nails for safety concerns. Flawless and quicker than expected. I could have gotten a hammer, but this was more fun. No play in my plier heard.
Its been dropped at least 50 times.
    Great buy for the money.

You really did a very good review. While i agree with many of your points. I personally really like my Bibury it was $29.
I only wish i bought the one when it was $35 that has the replacement saw and diamond file.
I really like the full sized bits.
My problem with leatherman was their bits were to soft for my line of work.
I used leatherman for years i stopped because their price didn't match their quality or usefulness.
I also believe Bibury uses 7cr17 which is a upgrade over 420hc.

Nice. Wish they were near me as they do not ship.

Now they just need a surge clone with a belt clip since none of the others do.

I prefer flat bits. You can't fit the amount of bits in a small enough package to carry in a slim leather holster such as mine. If I want quarter inch bits I'll go to my tool bag.

Isn't it closer to a charge clone (ignoring the looks)? With the crimpers and combination guthook-serrated blade?

@@graysonsmith7031 if it had titanium scales... then i would say yes. But as it stands, i feel its a jab at the wave. Also, on their website, they compare it to the leatherman wave in price

Whilst it seems a great clone, I personally feel they have shot themselves in the foot opting to go with the flat driver bits. For me, that is a total deal breaker, particularly when you look at all of the other wave clones using standard bits. The Bibury, Roxon and Flissa options seem much better in my opinion. Great review tho!

It's a good quality tool for the price. And it's easy for people to buy. I like the bronze or copper washers they use. Nice thick pivots too.

Where they lower cost is no epa no osha or regulations and possibly either child or slave labor in china.. thats part of the cost savings.. don't get me wrong i buy stuff at harbor freight.. i bought a 225 piece tool set..i believe made in taiwan i figured most everyday mechanic tool set are made offshore..
