HL1 Vortigaunts: low-level grunts. Kill them by the dozens, otherwise they'll zap you a little. HL2: They can shred up an entire antlion army, they can heal extremely dangerous wounds, they're psychic or something, control electricity, mount guns to your vehicles with telekinesis, they can work as scientists and learn our language, they have some kind of timeless hivemind, and they can HOLD THE GMAN AT BAY
I don't play D&D but I use it in incredibly random times An example is that last week there was a garry's mod "war" on a server, and my gmod group thing was involved, so I played a hazardous environments mix-up thing with regular valve/hev theme and something from black mesa.
@@alexanderkorol677 Well my friends and I are working on a sci-fi system inspired by D&D5e, but it is far from finished. Other than that, I've ran several short campaigns in D&D5e in a homebrew setting of ours, I've ran several Hero Quest (the original version) games, and I plan to run some Call of Cthulhu games as well!
@@alexanderkorol677 It's a lotta thinking, trial and error, and bouncing ideas off of friends like "Dude y'know what could be fun?" and then seeing if it actually would. A lot of my work has been writing out the different classes and weapons so far, alongside the lore of the setting (I do most of the actual, physical writing) but again, takes a lotta time and energy and re-writes of things that sounded fun yesterday but today kinda sound lame and boring. It ain't for everyone, but I certainly enjoy it as a side-project with my D&D homebrew stuff being my current priority.
This one plays in the first trailer to Portal, and I've always wondered where that song was from until some dude replied to my comment, I believe he deleted his comment or got his account deleted, but I will forever thank you, dude! o7

And the combine use their magic shit in Half-Life Alyx to keep Gman in the vault.
On hard difficulty their zap was absolutely brutal. Much harder than the human grunts for sure.
Lol true
@JackTheOnion they go down so easy tho..
@@mikewazowski7024 Sure, but whenever I had to face multiple of them without good cover it was rather difficult.

You're not alone
I don't play D&D but I make characters on a D&D figurine website and play the soundtrack sometimes while doing so.
Quirked up Green Boys goated with the Vortessence busting it down electrical style
are they goated with the jelly?
massive Gandalf moment here, when you're playing it.
"YOU! SHALL NOT! PAAAAASS!"
Convinced my DM to use this as the final boss music in our campaign and it was absolutely AWESOME, thank you for giving me the idea!
Huzzah!! A DM of Quality! I shall be using this extended version in my Tabletop games as well! Especially for future Sci-Fi games
I'm curious, what campaigns have you already DM'd and want to DM in the future?

@@Loafusbreadmyre How do you make new systems anyway? I can make new settings no problem, but systems and mechanics are beyond me.

this song makes me feel i'm bhopping and shooting combines

the funniest part about this section is the bad grammar coming from the two other resistance members

Why is Cryono77's remix of Vortal Combat not usable in Geometry Dash? I remember making a short level with that song but I deleted it. I regret it.
Probably because Cryono77 (aka Fleetwire) was turned out to be a groomer
