I'm building Magda now, got some of these cards, but I'm trying to go more into the vehicle parts of the deck. then I got worldgorger dragon to tutor out to dodge board wipes. I also got explosive singularity as a spell to tap down my dwarves for treasure tokens and a dragon spark reactor to get charges from those treasure tokens. Dont forget all seven dwarves meteoric mace, ganax astral hunter, academy manufacturer is huge, careening minecart, minion of the mighty, dwarven hammer, beamtown beatstick,war storm surge, fearless liberator for an engine , dire flail,raiders karve for ramp,birgi, axgard cavalry, crime novelist gets bigger when you use treasures,bearded axe,hangar scrounger , lightning greaves and mithril coat for magda, dockside,dowsing device,everflowing chalice, dragon kin berserker for tokens, hellkite igniter...ect id run 10 dragons and 15 to 20 dwarves...GL

as a boardwipe that clears your field aswell but might be, ehemm, devastating, couldn't we slap Devastation into the deck? Sure it clears your stuff aswell, but you can tap all your dwarfs in the battle phase or something, generate a shit ton of treasures, Cast Devastation, destroy all creatures and lands. Pass turn.
And when you get your turn back, use those treasures to get a ton of advantage against a board devoid of lands.
Hey, 2nd note here, i've build the deck in moxfield and the price is well below the 250 mark, at least on card market € prices, without shipping costs, it totals to 205, AND that's after me having removed 2 cards, to include Goldspan Dragon and Blightsteel colossus. I guess time has lowered some of the other cards prices so yeah I'm going to do that.
The two cards I've removed are Raze the Efigy, (beacuse we already have other ways to destroy artifacts, and i'd rather have the +1+1 with trample of the Fury Charm than just +2+2 with no trample) And the Clown car, because even if it's legal, Un-set cards are a pretty big no-no in my local comunity, and I agree with them, so blightsteel colosus it is.
Now, I don't want to bloat de deck with too many dragons but I don't think It would hurt too much to remove one of the 1/1 dwarves that do nothing, like Trader, Enslaved or Liberated, since there are still a lot of dwarves in the deck to include Dragon Mage, as a fetchable source of draw power.
And then playtest and experiment with different combinations of dragons. Like, i fI feel that I don't really need Goldspan I could just bring back the 1/1 dwarf that I removed, or substitute him for Hellkite Tyrant for an alternate wincon. Or even Storm-Kiln Artist, or any other 2 attack dwarf, to have an easier time crewing Mighty Servant of Leuk-o
I wish a lot of those 1 mana dwarves were legal in modern, Duergar Assistant or Universal Automation feel out of place in my red dwarf tribal deck.
Magda enjoys paranoia and you get focused often once she drops. Camp fire and the expensive commander beacon aleviate the hate a bit 😅
How would you turn it into a buidget deck? (budget means change every card above 2 usd). My playgroup prefers cheap decks because none of us spend a lot/has good cards.
Not sure, to be honest. Lots of the cards in this deck are over $5, but overall the deck was only about $200. If I were you, I'd take a look at all the cards that are over your budget and try to find cards that are similar in nature but within the budget your group has put together.
I haven't played in awhile but last time i checked, my Magda deck was sitting around $700. Idk if it's cedh but it's goes pretty fast.
If ur paying $700 for a deck then yea. It is cEDH

Ancient Copper Dragon seems good in this deck but ive noticed most cEDH magda decks dont bother running it. probably because the deck has enought treasure makers already?
Unless you can consistently give him haste, he's just another dragon. I love him in my Kaalia deck, but I also love Dragon Mage in that deck. But since he only makes treasures when you deal combat damage to an opponent, he doesn't show up in as many decks.

I don't see Hellkite Tyrant in the deck. That's a $10 instant win card in this deck. All you need is a few Dwarves to tap and wait until the End step of your opponent's turn and pseudo flash him in for the win on your upkeep.

Not to make the deck a one trick pony so to speak but if somehow Hellkite Tyrant gets exiled, Reckless Fireweaver and/or Ingenious Artillerist will kill off all opponents with the infinite Treasure token loop. Don't even need any dragons for that! :)
Use vault robber ....along with treasure vault and the kaldheim dwarves ...the older dwarves arent as good as some of the newer ones ....and u can use reaver cleaver and dwarven axe ect...but i would run more dragons cause you will run out of stuff to pull if theres a board wipe...also use dragon token engines to keep flying attacker / blockers...i dont like all the vehicles he chose ...i only use galleon from lci and carening mine cart and that boat from kaldheim ...other than that you see its alot stronger than his build....dont forget acidic soil and blasphemous act and light up the night to make saved treasures just take 30 to the face
Just saw this and just built this deck and it’s sitting at $1,542.32
I have a stronger deck than this using dockside and ancient copper and reaver cleaver....there are better dwarves for this deck ...I like running boast ability to make dwarves and I also run some vehicles that make treasures ...no need for inf combos and its around 500 dollar deck
