On Today's agenda I would like to share a story with you as well as my personal thoughts about the human mind, largely in regards to the term "Girl's Girl". In a perfect world this concept sounds amazing and would allow the cultivation of deep relationships between each other without the presence of secret malice, envy, jealousy, hurtful words hidden under "jokes", and underhanded compliments. Alas, we don't live in that world and I have a few things that I'd like to share with you through my experiences with this subject and what I've observed over the years with the hopes that you guys are prepared if you're ever in a situation where someone chooses to try the mean girl routine on you. I had a coworker like this, my first real job in healthcare! I studied my ASS off to be where I was and I had to deal with this weirdo ass girl who literally didn’t like me for NO reason! Everyone in the office liked me, thought I was funny etc except for her. We would all be talking in the front office and she would notice, come up and listen and I stg she would purposely disagree with EVERYTHING I would say. To the point where one time, people actually asked me “have you noticed that she will butt into our conversation just to knit pick with only you about what you say?” and THAT’S when I realized I wasn’t trippin!!!!! Finally one day she tried it and I literally snapped on her ass so bad, our manager came all the way to our side of the building to deescalate the situation because I was ready to tell her ass let’s step outside lmao. (clearly not what I wanted to happen, which is why I ate her foolishness and turned the other cheek countless times) Needless to say, after that altercation she never fckn tried it again w me and kept it cute. 💯 those type of girls are the WORST.
I have a ten year old boy who’s going through it right now.. In his school there’s a group of boys who hate on him and keep pushing him out of the friend group. As a mama bear, you feel the need to fix it for him, but I know myself that all I can do is armor him. And explain to him that there are people who you WANT to be friends with, but if they treat you bad, it’s not a good place to be in. That it can hurt more to stay friends with them and that it’s better to move on and find other friends that are more fun and who WANTS to be friends with you too.
Kids are so cruel, I wish that parents would teach their children kindness. I hope everything works out for your baby boy!

I just watched the last story time video about your ex-manager. A lot of people think that i am a "Pick Me" when they see that I only have male friends, but it's because i've been so jaded when I use to have only female friends. I've had female friends lie on me, Set me up to be R*ed. I've had some girls spread a rumor that I was with a guy whom had LDR girlfriend and I didn't even like the guy like that. Now i'm with my fiancé and I have a conversation with him that "I would love to have a female friend a best friend again" it's just hard to find a genuine friend.

Oooo this story reminds of this girl my husband was friends with when we first started dating. She immediately was Hella petty to me and would make sly comments to me. Thankfully my husband put her in check and stopped having her around us.
I always love the big sister energy i feel from these type of videos, lately girls in my workplace have been getting more “confident” with their little indirect jabs and to stay professional i haven’t said anything but this honestly is what i needed to hear because i know it’s up to me to lay it to rest and feeling like i can do that while still maintaining my professionalism and not having it escalate to something physical is something i never learned at home. I was taught that either you don’t say anything at all and let them talk or you fight 😂Love you Nikki💕

So accurate! I had a girl who I cannot avoid and for the longest I took her jabs and one day I called her out. Girl let me tell you.. a whole new person afterwards. Took a couple times of me telling her “hey your back at it again and I can don’t appreciate it” and now she knows she can’t with me. It works
I’m currently going through something like that. I decided to distance myself from a female that did that on several occasions. Later I found out she was just a jealous person. No thanks, i don’t want “friends” like that….

sissss i always have this issue with girls at work! i tend to get hit on alot because i work in warehouses. but because i value my jobs so much and dont like unnecessary attention, i keep to myself and am extremely quiet. girls seem to interpret this as me being an easy target guess. tell me why this other pretty girl has always thrown shade at me, idk if she is jealous of the attention or what but she goes "girl omg why does everyone like you, whats your secret?" in the most bewildered tone... implying that she literally has no idea why i get attention lol. they are always so passive aggressive with it too, as if we cant tell what they are really getting at 😭🙄

My love! You uploaded at the perfect time. I’ve been here since 2016. Going thru a lot in life. Don’t have custody of my oldest 3 children & have fought for YEARS against the ppl that have them & I get NOTHING in return. I’ve had 7yrs in recovery. I have full custody of my youngest child who will be 6 in 10 days. I lost my husband 4yrs ago (he was only 29 & I was 26 at the time), due to him being in active addiction very deeply & being struck by a train. It was classified as an “unaliving”, not sure if I believe that or not. I have been freakin THROUGH it Nikki & still going through it. I’m a single mother & have been over 5yrs now. I just want to say thank you. In a way to sound hopeful... I know women more and more have noticed the toxic habits we've felt we've had to keep up with or are taught through life and society, and we either choose to continue (hopefully not y'all) or choose to respond differently and behave better, being kind to one another.
Sadly I've had women around me (and it was really close friends) who sadly were envious of who I was, and wanted to change me. Thankfully loving people guided me away even though I still defended them because I thought they were my close friends. I even felt a bit of anger watching this video, because I can't seem to understand why people, especially women behave this way. In the end, I get to still hope them well, but due to circumstances, it'll be from afar. Regardless, please defend yourself as needed, but I've learned to be kind in the process. I hate fights. I hate confrontations. But I've learned to defend myself in other ways. Please may we all learn to defend ourselves as needed and in the healthiest way possible too.

I’m 22 , I’ve had allot of insecurities since middle school but I’ve never been hateful towards people because of them. I’m not a rude, judgmental person. I had an ex supervisor lady that would drink haterade in her big ass tumblers, poke jabs *joking*. ANTYWAYS within 4 months of working there, I had let so much of that slide & got falsely terminated, I know I’m worth more than $11/hr but hey 🤷🏽♀️ you live & you learn. Best believe I’m getting the 💰. I need step by step instructions along with a script to know how to handle these situations. I've dealt with the same thing, and I typically ignore it but I found that's not the best way of handling things as I usually end up being isolated and mobbed. It's good to know that those people typically do not grow out of it.
staying silent and not standing up to a bully is the worst thing to do. they see it as acceptance. also , if you see a person doing this type of shit , speak UP , even if it is not directed towards you. speak up for yourself, use your voice in a respectful and classy manner. or shut them off, but in a clear manner that leave not one shred of doubt that its not you slinking away from fear. one effective method is looking directly at them in front of everyone and asking ; WHAT MAKES YOU THINK IT WAS OKAY TO SAY THAT TO ME ..... THEN SILENCE. its not agressive, its not impolite, it a question. simply. and they have NO way to answer that without looking like an asshole. ``oh i said you had a muffin top well cuz you DO !!! `` will almost never be the answer, and if it was again you look at them , okay lets be clear , what makes you think you can bopdy shame ANYONE . the asshole will haver no toher option to stop, they cant cry victim cuz u were calm and poised.
