Hello ladies! Thank you for watching! Just in response to a few questions regarding sneakers; sneakers can look elegant (depending on which ones and how you wear them). I'll film a video on this topic very soon❤
I know people who own so many really luxury brands, but they live in their mom's house. I own a house, drive a Lexus, and I do buy stuff *hotdups* to put money in my pocket.
Trying to find the logic behind your blouses and dresses being too small. In this video your buttons are stressed and there is a gap indicating it should be at least two sizes larger for a smooth and elegant fit to accommodate the bust size. In the previous video about shoes, in the blue outfit your bust area looks like melons forced into a can. Mom says a proper fitting bra and clothes are also required for an elegant look. When clothes fit properly, they won’t add weight to your appearance or look cheap. Just a few observations for the future.
Thank you for your content. I am grateful for my mother as well, who lived to by 91. I am now a retired teacher. God has allowed me to be an Evangelist and teacher at my church. My mother taught me how to dress and present myself in banking 20 yrs., General Motors 3 yrs, 20 yrs. teaching. God has been very good.
'Nude' does not mean pale pink - in fact when the term was first used there was an uproar - even Michelle Obama woke the fashion industry abouts its use.
@@rosahacketts1668 I also hate that "nude" automatically translates into "white" basically. The undertones to the term are overtly racist; as if that's the default of what everyone looks, or even looks close too when they're nude. My skin is deep brown, And every time I shop for nudes (makeup, shoes, undergarments, etc.) the sales ladies bring me something beige and I just look at them like 😑🙄🤦🏿♀️
@@doll.ov.poetrii4682 I'm sorry you've had problems in finding a nude shoe to match your skin tone. I've seen nude shoes come in a variety of different skin tones before. If you search on the internet you can find different shades of nude
My top multi purpose shoes are BOATSSHOES! They’re super versatile: -in summer barefoot and breathable -in spring and fall with a nice looking pair of high unicolor socks -they give sporty touch to elegant outfits -they elevate jeans onto an elegant level -very long lasting as it’s leather - and most importantly they are super comfortable for long days With this shoe you’re prepared for all situations coming up
Hahhahaaha, Vivienne, you made me laugh when i heard you mention your Ghanaian Akan name. Thank you for making us proud. A Nigerian friend just asked me if you were a Ghanaian and I gladly mentioned YES. Ayekooo!!!!
Vivien may the Lord bless you for your contents ! 🎉🎉 I'm naturally class & royal... & I aknowledge that your channel is the place I belong!... keep it up !!!
Love your channel it’s not over the top and gets straight to the point. You are naturally beautiful and elegant. No botox, fillers or all that extra stuff ❤❤❤
TFS. This is a very practical list. The only thing I'd pass on are the Oxfords....no shade to anyone who loves them but I don't find them cute at all! They give me more of a masculine vibe to me. The only 1 I've ever seen that didn't look too masculine are the half black/half white ones. I'm getting into flats a bit now because the car park at my job somehow ends up damaging the material of my preferred patent heels, so I try to have a pair to wear up to my building. One tip I'd add based on what I've discovered since wearing flats is, if you're a lover of heels because you have a high arch type instep and heels just fit better, get a nice pair of flats that are beautiful but not as structured. I've found that the ones that are very structured and hard leaves a space where your high instep is and causes it to look a bit unsightly but it also puts more pressure on the middle of your feet. Something a bit softer with the same nice, clean lines mold more closely yo your feet so there is no space shown and your weight still feels evenly distributed.
Thank you for another wonderful update Miss Vivienne. I've been watching your channel for some time now and I'm so pleased with how the channel has grown, as well as your loveliness. Best wishes and cheers from Canada!
I like these suggestions, I'm in the process of revamping my style but dont want to spend a ton of $ by buying a lot of things I don't need, at least not right now. Oxfords were my favorite from this list, I love a good, cute oxford ❤ I can always add more cute things along the way. I don't mind wearing the same 8 or 9 outfits and few pairs of shoes for a few months.
I use my *yutulu* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.
Nice video. I will run from anyone who tries to force a pair of wedges or slippers on me. But I'm all for quality ballet flats, a classic riding boot or an elegant ankle boot. The Oxfords are lovely as well as a nice boat shoe.
Thank you!!! I was looking for new fall shoes. So, a pair of "Oxfords" and some tall black boots just made the list. Also, I wanted to say I adore your new hair style. It's classy without being matronly. And it really shows off your fantastic facial features 😊🙇♀️
❤❤❤ Shoes are the basis, literally & figuratively, of a person's 😅look. Good expensive shoes + inexpensive clothes = good. The opposite, not good. Court shoes are so called because they were required at courts. That's all. Those very high heels - stilletoes- are costly & difficult to wear. Fisherman sandals & mary janes, if well-made, may be worn by nearly everyone.
I think a video on earrings should come. I feel that every woman should have basic pearl studs and 1/2" simple gold hoops. Costume jewelry screams cheap no matter what anyone has paid for them.
@@parishers6351You don't need pierced ears to wear earrings. I wore clip on earrings for years. Earrings are a finishing touch to your appearance for which there is no adequate substitute. As Emily Cho put it, earrings are to a woman what a tie is to a man. But earrings are more versatile.
I disagree about costume jewelry. It depends on how it's made. I've had real jewelry that people assumed was costume and quite a lot of costume jewelry that people assumed was real. Glued in stones are a give away, even if the item cost hundreds of dollars. On the other hand, silvertone jewelry can many times pass for real silver, white gold, or platinum. You have to pay attention to things like clasps; cheap looking clasps downgrade everything.
I'm hoping when you have the time... If you'll discuss outerwear such as coats and or jackets. With 90 degree days, I know some will find that useless. However, for me and most budget minded Ladies, it'll give us a leg up on what's the best investment for our money. Coat, all weather coat, ectra. Oh, yeah scarf or hood?
Hi there! I’m in high school but still like to be elegant. I only have blouses, skirts of different patterns and textures and a few staple pieces and about three shoes I wear on a daily rotation with my favorite pair being black penny loafers. I’m hoping to find knee length black suede boots for the winter. Does anyone have recommendations?
It may not be your aesthetic or it may be your aesthethic but you may belong to a different category of it. For example, you have classics/elegants that are more edgy, artsy, romantic or modest. It's still classic/elegant, but it's a different layer to it. You can find many examples of this online. Also, my biggest tip as someone who doesn't dress classic (I'm a boho-chic romantic beachy woman), is to not be afraid of color or prints and pay attention to necklines and hemlines. You can dress classic/elegant and still have a solid hot pink trench coat or a blouse with a pattern in your closet. If you are petite, some hemlines can make you look frumpy and certain necklines don't suit all feminine figures. Learning what your undertones are and your body type can help you make your wardrobe more flattering and fun. Try not to put yourself into a box, an elegant woman is an elegant woman because she's elegant in decorum; her pearls and blouses are just the cherry on top. There are many fashion styles like boho, gothic, eclectic, preppy, etc. a style quiz online can help you determine what's best. i hope this helps!☺️❤️
