Oh, a little story for y'all. When I was a teen my grandfather in central Georgia here in the US was an avid gardener and was having an awful aphid issue that was just destroying his plants. So he ORDERED ladybug eggs. Unfortunately however, the company did not warn him that due to our climate that the eggs could possibly hatch early. He got sick, no one was home for a few days because my grandmother was at hospital with him. Came home to HUNDREDS, yes HUNDREDS of ladybugs flying around the house, crawling over everything. Later I found out there was 800 eggs in the package. For YEARS afterwards I would go every spring and help my grandmother clean up after the hatchlings would take place.
I still like to think 20 years later and new owners are still trying to clear ladybugs out of the house.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤪
Oh my goodness I feel bad

@@jojojaykay ladybugs prey on aphids
How... Where did... What did they eat...?
Did you also have an aphid infestation?
@@neolexiousneolexian6079 It was actually winter time! They were trying to find a warm place to hide. The ones from the previous year leave their scent so the young ones know where to go. It was a really old dorm building and apparently they've been coming every year for over a decade.
If they were indoors and slightly orange they were a different bug entirely. My grandpa called them potato beetles, and their spots are blotchy instead of smooth circle outlines. I hate those pests, but love harmless ladybugs!
Also I'm mindblown how well mannered the cats are without eating the bugs
Bruh my cat eats ALMOST everything >:T
I think it's because of how poisonous ladybugs are if eaten.
