@@ニック式英会話 そうですかね。LDOCEにはwithout planが主な意味に書いてあり、そもそも思いつきって意味ですね。自発的だけど計画的なのはspontaneousじゃないということ。500m穴掘って脱獄するのはspontaneousとは言えないw 完全に「自発的」だけど道具揃える準備が要るので。 youglishでもwithout thinkingと言う文脈で使われるのが多数。
high maintenance と entitled の使い方を知りませんでした。ネイティブがよく使うのに自分が知らない単語や表現を学ぶのは楽しい事です。英語圏に住んでいないとそういうギャップはどうしても出てきますね。このシリーズ今後も続けて欲しいです。

スポンティニアスは、大体「自発的な」って辞書とかに書いてあって、は？ちげえだろ…ってなる代表例ですよね。
これは、「自然と湧き上がってくるような」というのが正解だと思う。わざとらしくない、あたかも自然な成り行きでそうなってしまったかの様な、という意味です
spontaneousは「ひらめき」かなと思いました。

もう少しくだけると、感情を揺さぶってくれることから「（彼は）なんかエモい」くらいの説明になってしまいそう。

その解決に「固まりで覚える」というのがありましたが、本日のこの英語では、固まり以上の配列でやって来ます。
・単語を捕まえるのが難しい
・単語の意味が瞬間に出て来ない
ずっとこの繰り返しをしている感じです。話される英語がその瞬間分かる様になるまで、数万光年掛かりそう。どうしたらいいんでしょう。この問題。新しいフレーズを覚えても、光の速さで流れて行くその語を捕まえるのが至難です😢
0.2秒くらいで言われて、意味まで分かる。しばらく聞いてなかったフレーズならもうほぼ無理な。その時々のリンキングなどが合わさると更に。どうすればいいんでしょう。

やっぱり変わる「こともある」ですね、発音をよくした「結果」変わることはあっても、喉をどうこうするだけで発音がよくなることはない。
