Hey Matt, when installing back the shift selector(that whole cover plate) does it has to be in a specific way or just put it in and everything will be aligned with the gears? Hope I explained my self right when I look inside the trans I can see like 3 other parts that looks like gear exteders. Thanks in advance
Remove in neutral, or align all the shifter forks to neutral in the transmission have the plate centered (neutral) and start the one bolt sorry if I didn’t cover that in this video don’t force it will fall into place easily
sorry for the delayed reply, just guessing it could be the blocking ring material has ware it would be some thing that would require dissemble of the gear set to know what the issue is, double check everything else as in the cable bushings shift selector top plate arm for play and make sure no wiring hoses ect are in the way you could also try 10w30 mobil high mileage in the transmission

I already have 2 other videos on the install of the extenders going over in detail what causes the pop out fixing some of the problems and fixes and the install of the selectors. This video is more or less the documentation on my build I’m working on right now this transmission is stock so I don’t see it lasting long with my power lever. I’ll add the link to the install video description for the install.

You do great work :) I have a question on my srt4 05 2nd gear grinds but only in high rpms do you know what could be the cause of that ???
