srt4 Hurst shifter assembly

well fixing an incorrectly assembled srt4 Hurst short throw shifter and rebuilding it the correct way and going over how it works if you like what you see hit that like button thanks

I need a stock base! Just realized I have the Mopar short throw shifter setup and was thinking about getting a Hurst so thank you for this video! But if you got a factory shifter base let me know!!!

Hey Matt, i did exactly what you suggested here in this video. For some reason, the ball will not set all the way in the white collar i rewatched it a couple of times i thought i missed something im not sure i have. Any ideas?

maybe something was made different or you just ended up with some of the wrong parts as it was passed threw different owners? id assume you removed it and inspected the bolt and ball if its the correct handle can just order a new one ball from modern i should have my old white one as i ordered the black one for my Hurst in my car

Bro, do you still have this car and shifter? I am working on an install into my Neon and I have read the directions front to back a couple dozen times, and I feel all but certain I did everything correctly, but the range of motion for the shifter doesn't seem quite right as it doesn't seem like it will travel far enough to the right to access 5th and R if I install it in my car. The shifter also seems prone to sticking a bit when I push it to the right. Also, the behavior of the spring thing seems slightly off, but I just can't see any reason why these issues are present.
Would you be willing to upload a brief video showing a closeup to where I can see the stick and the ball socket as you shift through each gear? That should confirm whether my range of motion is correct.
Alternatively, I am going to upload a quick video demonstrating what I am seeing, and if you have time and willingness to take a look and see if you can help me figure out where I went wrong, I would really appreciate it!

sorry i don't have that car it sound like its the centering spring is not on correctly check this video out see if it helps. I show it installed wrong and then the correct way as I'm going over and rebuilding the shifter

I have one in my eblue srt, I like it nice tight feel and the way it looks is great
