Good update. I built this same ship a few years back with the wooden deck and all. It is a fun build, although a bit fiddly at times. Have fun with it!
Dear Paul, A friend once referred to a large task he was undertaking as “like trying to eat an Elephant.” He continued “never accomplished in one sitting!” As it is with Elephants, so it is with ship models- you’re making a good job of it. Kindest regards, Z
It's looking magnificent already Paul, your doing the real thing vast amounts of justice and I can safely say it's going to look incredible when completed. If your interested in a bit of history this thing though maybe lost in 1942 is all too famous by the event in 1939 via the events at the River Plate. If you ever fancy doing other ships from that famous battle there's always 1/350 HMS Ajax and her sister HMNZS Achillies, but the 1/350 Graf Spee is always an icon to get also. It's just a suggestion for the future, I'm in two minds wither I should get the 1/200 Bismarck for next year, but might wait till her sister Tirpitz comes out. Anyway your doing a truly great job, well done. Stay safe and happy modelling mate 👍
@joeaustin4472 Thanks Joe. Always appreciate your comments. 1/200 bismark would be a awesome build or the tirpitz .Been looking at doing a 1/200 kit Migth have to save my pennies stay safe and happy modelling.
