Great progress Paul , surprised you didn’t lose any of the tie downs on the deck 😂 I would like to get this kit myself at some point . On my way to Lidl to see if I can pick up a tiger moth before they all sell out lol Happy modelling 👍
Thanks Harry appreciated. I was thinking that at the time don't lose any .Luck must of been on my side. Good luck on getting your Tiger month, and happy modelling
Nice kit Paul and nice work. I was interested in getting this kit myself, but decided no to due to not having any space for it. Good thing I did as well, because I haven't felt like building anything for six months now... Got a couple of kits that are halfway finished sitting on the desk collecting dust. Spent a fortune on a new computer instead... Could have bought a couple of Border Lancs and still have money left for the same price... LMAO...
Hi Eltee appreciated. It is a nice kit not sure where am going to put it. Hopefully you'll get your mojo back soon we all get like it. Stay safe and have a great week 👍
Look forward to your build as I have this kit in the stash. What colour were you thinking to use on the structure, eg what Grey? Keep up the good work 👍
Not to sure yet stuart thinking of doing a xf54 dark sea gray .Then weatheir it useing oils to add ligther shades.Have you got any suggestings. Thanks for your comment. Just had a look on a web page and they recommend xf77 which is a dark grey may go down that road.
Impressive very - VERY impressive Paul, that's an incredible base and kit part size, I knew it was large given the scale is 1/35, but I didn't know it was that large. Very eye widening when I saw the size, I hope you don't mind me asking but have you worked out a place where going to be putting this when it's done? On a much more supportive note, what loadout do you plan to give your IJN BN52 Kate torpedo bomber? I heard you can arm them with bombs of torpedoes, but as I don't do IJN aircraft nor will I ever, or even got the kit.. I'm only going by what I've heard. Looking forward to seeing the progress on this project, will look fantastic when done I know it will. Have a great time with this, stay safe and happy modelling mate 👍
Thanks Joe appreciated. I haven't got a clue yet what am going to do with it.We have got a spare room so it will probably end up there to be never seen again lol.Think I'll shall be using the torpedo Joe Thanks again for your comment's stay safe and happy modelling.
Dear Mr Plastic, I did wonder what you were working on the other night and now I know. It looks substantial and I think your plans sound quite excellent!. The weld line question is a bit of a poser for sure- I hope that you find out something from the modellers at large! Good luck! Regards, Z
