Dear Mr P, It is very good to see you excited by this project! That detail set is genuinely impressive! (Btw thanks for stopping by at Radio Zin this afternoon, it was very nice to hear from you!) Kindest regards, Z
This looks like it will be a very interesting build. I look forward to seeing how well the PE from this vendor will work out. P.S. You may wish to correct the typographical error in the name "Trumpeter" in your video titles for this build - should be "TRUMPETER", rather than "TRUMPERTER".
Great to see a new project starting Paul. Lots of PE to get through though but I know you’ll smash most of that..Looking forward to this one, all the best, Chris
I have never heard of this P.E. Company. I will be sure to check them out. Looks like you have your hands full with this one kit.i will be watching your progress.
Good luck, my usual method with P-E involves the “crush and crumple” approach. I usually end up binning the whole thing and swear I’ll never touch the stuff again but then I try again…
Welcome back to working on ships Paul, there's a lot of photo etch which I'll be honest and say really terrifies me even though it's not me making the ship, but at the same time I managed to do it for Gneisenau so I suppose it's just the confidence belief that might effect various makers, I know you can you do it because your a true artist. This is going to be epic so all the very best with this project, have a great time with this one and happy modelling mate 👍
Thanks Joe appreciated .Pe is a hit and miss thing with me always make the pe before cutting any of the plastic. This kit alot smaller so fingers crossed. Stay safe Joe and happy modelling
@@plasticmonkey5594 I know what you mean in regards of the PE parts, when I see it I always make a Christian cross gesture before trying it, I suppose I always like to think I need all the help I can get. HMS Exeter is a cruiser so it's no surprise about how small she is, but she's still fair size for 1/350, you'll do great with this one I know you will. Stay safe yourself and all the best to you again 👍
Looks good Monkery..after HMS Liverpool and HMS Montrose in 1/350 myself...cheers for the video mate.
Cheers Hugh. Thanks for popping in stay safe and happy modelling
Brilliant to see a video review of a Ship Yard Works set. Thinking of buying a rather expensive different set. Now I know what to expect.
If your interested got it from dawengrocery store off Ebay. Very good service was here within 2 weeks

Very Fire has a set for Exeter. Much more expensive, though.
The shipyard set is very good for the money.
