just to add some information. Ubud has been always a favorite place to stay or even to live for American especially an artist (not actress/ actor) since early 19th century..
Ubud is one of the best places in Bali

I miss Bali so much, it's a beautiful island for vacation, last time visit Bali with my family in 2016.
The room rate is reasonable, from IDR 700-1.200k, if have enough savings I'm will be going to Bali and stay 1-2 night at this villa's.

Karen Stein Cool! We were really comfortable at Ubud Dedari Villas. I really liked the outdoor shower. That’s not for everyone though. :) Plus, the location is great for many activities! :)

The free shuttle is to Ubud City Center, not to Legian or Kuta.
