Martin Johnson I'm Indonesian but I don't live there anymore, and I get ill every time I go there on holiday because I'm not used to the street food anymore which sucks because I love them so watching RUclips videos about Indonesian street food is such a consolation for me :(

I know this is an old video, but I had to comment! If you ever go back to Indo, you should try Pangsit Mie in Makassar. It's my favorite and I constantly crave it! It has the fried wontons (pangsit), pork belly, bbq pork, and chicken! It's amazing. I haven't been back in years so I watch videos of indonesian food, to I guess torture myself 🤷🏻♀️😂

FYI, blend it first before you eat bakso/ mie ayam. It's supposed to blend well to make it taste better, but usually the cook doesn't have time to blend/mix it.
U can find best bakso in yogya near the Lempuyangan railway station, shouthern of it... exactly at the corner of the juntion..precisely under the traffic light....is it still available try...have a try there!!!

I always recommend bules to hang out with alot of indonesians to learn how to eat properly the indonesian way, so that they will get the expected taste from the food.
You are right, mr martin. Like what i said in your video before, fully cooked meatball is not red anymore, its become like the other cooked meat, light gray and not pink.
There's another case when we talk about hotdog n steak like what u said, n thats absolutely right.
We dont know how the process til the meatball come in our bowl, so it will be safe n good if we make sure we got fully cooked meatball instead.

Martin: wow! you beat me for the sambal I can't eat as much as you do..........about MSG sure and I believe that......but you can ask them don't add MSG in it. I love both mie bakso and mie ayam and of course my Pangsit not plain but I stuffed it with ground beef or could be mixed with chicken.

The one with chicken and bakso is called Mie Ayam Bakso. The saltiness is depend on How Many MSG has been inserted. Don't get too much MSG Pak Martin ^_^

MSG gak akan menyebabkan makanan jadi terlalu asin, jika pakai MSG terlalu banyak, rasa makanan hanya akan jadi terlalu gurih.

ale thea saya kerja di rumah sakit Singapore, mereka menerapkan diet garam dengan mensubtitusi garam dengan msg, ketika kita tidak menggunakan MSG tahukah kamu berapa kita akan memasukkan garam kedalam makanan? Itu yang berbahaya, karena garam berlebih dapat memicu hipertensi
