yo my friend ,if you can could you do a public interview asking women from busan how they feel about dating a black foreigner. I saw the you did one in seoul but i am curious to hear the answers in Busan .
We literally could say that the family is the number 1 reason behind most of the successes of the people that you interview around the South Korea,and that hits hard because not everyone has these kind of chances or at least tolerating and understanding type of parents which could lead to a successful children because they don't have to waste their time trying to graduate from the school for many years and actually could be involved in some of the businesses that their parents own and start to real life very early than the other ones.
You see, there's a bit of selection bias in play here. He only interviewed those who drive luxury cars, presenting a skewed perspective. Now, let me tell you my story. I'm a product of humble beginnings, born and raised in a family that fell into the bottom 10 percent in Korea. My parents often had to rely on government subsidies to make ends meet. I never had the opportunity to finish college, but that didn't stop me from exploring different avenues on my own. A few years back, I took the plunge and started my own business. Yes, it wasn't easy. It took a considerable amount of self-discipline and commitment, especially when I had to put away nearly 90 percent of my income as savings. The journey was tough, but the result speaks for itself. Today, I'm proud to say that my net worth puts me in the top 5 percentile. But let me assure you, I'm not an exception. There are countless people with stories like mine, folks who've made their way up from challenging circumstances. If you look at the statistics, you'll see that most wealthy individuals, regardless of their nationality, didn't inherit their wealth. They earned it, just like I did.
People who have this mindset hold themselves back and are their own worst enemy. The victim mentality of "oh no, he got the head start so that's why I couldn't achieve the same results". Suck it up buttercup. There are disabled, blind, poor, born into a caste, less fortunate ppl all over the world. You control your destiny no matter your starting place - for the most part.

That's completely inaccessible to the average person.
This was super interesting to watch. I loved how each one of them seemed very humble and very open to share their experiences. Your interviewing skills are the best!
Key is to do something for yourself.. most of these people's parents were the ones who made something of themselves.. they didn't come from rich families.. in fact Korea was one of the poorest countries in the world a couple of generations back. In any of these families success cases someone down the line were the ones to do it. It's not just being born into it.. Koreans and Korea in general is one huge success story that everyone collectively strive for success and growth of the country. No excuses

I dropped out of college but went back 4 years later. It's no different. It's the same cycle that people would have to be a part of in order to gain recognition and "status". Unfortunately that's the case in most advanced countries. To get ahead, you need the basics.
People when they give advice need to make something clear, you don't have to work hard. Working hard most of the times is associated with working for other people, in this case you will never make it in your life cause work and payment system isn' t rewarding you but actually keeps you in a limit. What you need to do is work smart and find out about new trends in all kinds of businesses and promote them. You gotta be the boss of your own self to make it, you also gotta figure out what needs do people have and propose a solution to them via your services.
agreed however not everyone is meant to be self employed or an entrepreneur, hard work is important but financially literacy will allow you to transition from working hard to working smart and letting money make you money. The truth is someone need they perceived job security of working for someone else because they can't cut it being self employed etc The issue in society is the employee wanting to live say a more lavish life of the self employed/ entrepreneur who risked their own money and therefore can reap the benefits of not having a cap on what they can make.

The shoes guy seems very concerned about the future of his business, but I don't really think leather shoes and suits are gonna go out of fashion just because the youth aren't that interested. Things might change a bit but I think he'll be able to adapt to what might be the current "classic fashion" in the future

I must be a bit korean, because my wife told me she wanted a louis Vuitton bag.. I had no idea what it meant in terms of value/quality. So I go into the shop and the nice lady there told me their prices start at 2000 dollars or so. I never walked out of a shop so fast in my life, and I had a nice long conversation with my wife about obtainable dreams to set her straight! 😁😁
Success comes from the family. If you are in your 30s fail, and your family (should) bail you out. Fail again, your family (should) bail you out. Fail a 3rd time, switch families. Later give advice to 30 year olds.
I don t know what other countries are like. but In Korea very few rich people have succeeded in ordinary families. so young people have no intention of giving up marriage and childbirth and starting a family old people increase and young people continue to decrease. we forecast the end for korea

Keep in mind that in Korea there are virtually no wealthy grown adults who got there without aid from their wealthy parents. To ask wealthy people in the street how they made their money is to ask why a teacher gave them special attention when they were a child, why they had the opportunity to study abroad living with an aunt they never knew, to ask what perks they received from name dropping their neighbourhood that their parents did everything they possibly could to score. Wealth or at least the appearance of it bleeds into every impression they ever make, propelling them higher every time. Wealth leads to wealth.
Generational wealth isn’t unique to Korea. Wealth is passed down from generation to generation in pretty much all parts of the world. The rich get richer, but it definitely helps if you have rich parents.
Is there no self-made person in Korea without support? This is wrong. Also, it is rather difficult to adapt to Korean schools after studying abroad. Because the learning process in Korea is more difficult. And these days, free internet lectures are common, so even if you are not rich, it is easy to get supplementary education.

I still believe f&b bznes is still the best to do & invest bcoz no matter what happen in world..virus, war or the worst economy broke, become rich or sudeently poor but still ppls need food to eat & water to drink
What I really liked is first they gain experience then they start business in same field ❤ unlike many people who think they will gain experience from their own business and sometimes face huge lose😬
the other side of my family who i’m not close to, are multi millionaires worth over 20 million. they donate money to hospitals, have donated actual structural churches, own over 500 acres of land in our home country. it was my great grandmas brother that jump started the business way back in 1940. It’s about the right timing, luck, and being born into the right & healthy family 😭 my cousins currently go to college in new Zealand. I highkey wish i was my uncles child instead jk lmao

Sure, keep pushing that defeatist narrative as a copout mechanism to explain away why you're not successful. One thing that they do have in common are that they all said attending university and getting good marks aren't as important. And they all are thinking outside of the box as opposed to conforming to societal expectations. Those are the people who are more successful. I've yet to see a single Chaebol person in these interviews.
Of course the college degree didn't matter because a seat at the board table of their family business was always reserved for them. Easy to say if you don't need to apply for a job. Also their parents were definitely forcing them to graduate since it's mandatory if you're from a 'good' family.
