Just for the smile at the end you got a thumbs up
Thank you so much for posting. I wanna start figure skating and everything looks so intimidating. Thanks to your tutorials, I am less scared now and more confident. Thank you!
Malarim Enar I want to start figure skating too
Malarim Enar I wanna start it too
I'm starting lessons soon and this'll help me too
I have been trying the waltz jump lately .didn't understand why I couldn't land it....turned out my skate's heel was ripping off! It's in repair right now . thank you for the tutorial! I land it just fine with rental skates now
It is also a good idea, when just starting off with spins, to only do 2 or 3 rotaions, to help get used to overcoming dizziness.
Isn't it like in ballet, where you fixate your head in one point?
It's not as easy in skating, as in ballet from what I understand.
In figure skating you spin to fast to be able to do that, most figure skaters say they just get used to it
I am just going by what I have heard from a couple of different coaches.
These videos have helped me immeasurably. They are better than what I have seen on DVD. Thanks again!
Love when you add the zooooom sound when you show a fast bunch of spins.
I'm trying to learn on my own right now and ur vids been really clear and concise thanks a lot
You did a really great job. Thanks for the explanations!
Thanks I love these vids I started with your starters tutorial because I already know how to go forward but not backward and then I watch this one then the next and so on I like them because you aren't explaining them REALY complex you are keeping it simple great job👍🏻
This is great! I want to learn to figure skate and these videos help me understand the mechanics of each move.
That smile hahahaah :) Just love it. What a real beaut.
Thank you so much for making! I took a few figure skating lessons in high school and am now trying to get back to it at age 39! Your videos really break things down and I have found them to be the best homework to go along with my classes :-) :-)
this really motivates me to go to the ice rink and practice! i don't want to be a professional skater but landing a jump would make me so happy! but i have no one to go to the rink with :((
Oh my gosh, I hope you still went! You could meet people there or at a learn to skate class. I go alone a lot even though I have a co worker who skates.
Such a good explanation, thanks ❤
Thank you for an amazing tutorial!!! I definitely helped me a lot!!
Thanks a lot....
and I always laugh when she start grinning......hahaha
All these videos help, thank you x
Very good video for beginners. Thank you!
You make it look so easy!
That was really helpful! I like also how you replayed it a couple times in slow motion. I am taking up figure skating again (I am 12) and I keep trying to do a spin but I can't quite get it. My mom says that I can't start lessons until I am 13 so I'm glad I can look on here for help!
I cant take a computer to an ice ring- I'm guessing that I have to watch this 1 million times before I remember...
Maybe you can borrow a cellphone.
Caramella ...wow my comment was noticed!!!! *hides in a corner*
Mate, chill. Why are you getting so worked up over someone else's comment?

Also, I'm here because Yuri!!! On ICE 😂
1. You're not too old to start! I know people who've started at 30+, and still have become quite good at it!
2. Yuri On Ice is my life honestly.
VividlyVivi well I think I'll give it a try then but first I have to do what Yuuri did, lost weight 😂✌🏻

I wanna start figure skating but there are no ice rinks in my area so I´m watching every figure skating video I can find online
Good order of steps which we should learn
can you do figure skating life hacks
I wanna be exactly
Do we need to tip toe when we do the one foot spin?
I'm 11 and my parents don't supporr me much in skating so I can't take classes but they take me to public rinks (the smallest ones! sad) so thanks for thiss
any tips for stability during a spin? I'm wobbely and traveling trough the entire spin...
Question can you teach us jumps?
What kind of skates do you have?
All of the speed skaters at the ice rink I go to do crossovers and they look easy but I've been going to ice skating for 5 weeks now and I fell on my but trying to do them :( could you help me?
I'm left-handed and do spins and jumps counter-clockwise. o_o :-)
Well if I ever learn this I think the most problematic will be to exit that spin :D
Thanks… i Love it Kate
Thanks…ya lost me at the jumps though..I value my skull un-cracked..lol
Dance Studio does chasse to only our moves are step together steps
Me: *reads ice skating AU klance fic*
(On thin ice)
you are perfect and adorable. do more videos please
what hould I do if I'm scared of putting up my foot from the ice?
try skating at the wall!
It's sad, I can do a waltz jump, but not a one foot spin😂😂😂
I am better now.
😇😇😇😂😂😂😁😁😁😉😉😉😉
this lelped my kids
*should
Teach me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Leave me alone
what if you are ambidextrous?
You pick a foot that you are the most comfortable with, and have the most control over it. I hope that helped:)
not really as I tend to write with my left hand and use scissors with my right hand and I switch my cutlery from hand to hand when I eat.
Try with left and then right, and decide what feels more comfortable
lol
when you watch too much yuri on ice......
btw thanks for the tutorial
