  • Here are my thoughts on the new 2024 Tesla Model 3 as I drive both the rear-wheel and dual motor all-wheel drive car. I apologize for the first shot as the color of the car is off. It looks orange but it is ultra red. You will see it later in the video.

    Thank you for another fantastic walk around and review! I was waiting for your review of the model 3 Highland! It's a pretty significant upgrade from the previous generation and it's only going to get better over time.

    Just got done watching your video. Thank you for making this and your honest opinion especially since you own several. As soon as the performance is available to order in Phoenix I'm getting it!! My first EV. Stealth Grey black interior. I love the acceleration, tech , minimalism, stalkless design it's futuristic just to name a few

      So after long consideration I placed my order for the M3 LR I went for a test drive today and the car was quiet, comfortable. It is very fast. I don't need a performance, I never go to the track, l don't drive more than 75 on Freeway, 50 on city streets and I don't want to worry about driving over potholes and ruining my rims and LR has better range. Glad I'm officially part of Tesla family.

    Thanks for the walk through and detailed review. I like the change around the stock specially for anyone who owns S and X, and has developed muscle memory to use buttons for turn signals. Do you know if they offer option to have a yoke steering for 3 also? Also, do you know if they are planning on changing the price for newer version as it has couple additional add on?

    • @MonsterGadgets
      @MonsterGadgets  4 месяца назад +2

      My pleasure! Right now there isn’t an option directly from Tesla on the steering and I have not heard of them offering that anytime soon. Also, they will not change the price from what it now in the near further as they just released it. As we know, Tesla does play around with the prices after some time based on supply and other factors. Lmk if you have any other questions.

      Thanks, I think I’m part I did say that but I also did say in another part about the dual motor vs rear wheel drive. As for the audio system, are you sure? They don’t mention that on the Tesla site.

    thx for nice POV vid ! I am between new model 3 highland SR (rear wheel) and LR (all wheel) not important for me for more miles now but you can say LR all wheel dive is more secure than SR rear wheel drive (not native english sorry and I live not too much snow here thanks)

    • @MonsterGadgets
      @MonsterGadgets  3 месяца назад +1

      My pleasure! If you live in an area where there is a lot of snow, I would highly recommend you go with the LR for the all wheel drive. Absolutely no question about it. I would only recommend SR for someone that lives in warm climates where there isn’t any snow. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    I live in California where there’s always traffic and warmer weather. We do get rain. This will be my first EV, would you recommend SR or LR?

    • @MonsterGadgets
      @MonsterGadgets  Месяц назад +1

      Hi. It really comes down to how much you drive. With the SR you will really get around 200-215 real world miles if you charge per Tesla’s recommendation of up to 80% for daily use. Whereas prob close to 300 with the LR. Obviously you also the the AWD with the LR. I’m not sure on the newer one but the older versions also had a different charging speeds. Meaning the LR charged faster than the SR. Let me know if you have any other questions, I’m happy to help!

    From this vantage point 19:50, it looks like the new model 3 2024 are lower compared to your white model 3 performance. Are the height of the new model 3 2024 lower?

    • @MonsterGadgets

      It looks like that on camera cause of the wide view and the M3P being on the side. In person it looked the same to me. Happy to share some raw pics if you want to DM on X or IG.

    Just to let you know the park, rear, drive and neutral at the top of the roof is a redundant system in the event the screen dies or cannot be used. It is not to be used for any other purpose than that.

    • @MonsterGadgets
      @MonsterGadgets  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks. Yes, I’m aware but it can be used if desired even if the display is working

    • @user-zf1ol7op7y
      @user-zf1ol7op7y 4 месяца назад +1

      @@MonsterGadgets Sure. I just mentioned that because most reviewers actually think it’s there just to be there not knowing it’s a backup to the screen. Why someone would prefer to reach up to activate park, drive, etc when the screen is available is beyond me but there are a lot of weirdos out here these days.

    Can u tell me as a 1st EV buyer would u recommend Standard or Long Range?, I live in sunny LA where it doesn’t snow but the summers are super hot. I drive but not too much durning the week. I drive but not road trip daily.

    • @MonsterGadgets
      @MonsterGadgets  Месяц назад +1

      If you’re alright with the range on the Standard one, you shouldn’t need AWD since you’re in Cali so you should be good with the standard one. However if you have the extra $$, I would recommend the Long Range due to AWD, faster charging, and of course more range.

    Informative Vlog - but the M3 is a miss for me. I have no interest in a spartan interior that has even less control stalks than its predecessor. I am keeping my Chevy Bolt as my commuter car it is six months old and I see that I did not miss anything by not waiting for the M3 refresh to come out. The price is nice but Bolt came in $1500 all in, under Tesla M3. base configuration.

    • @MonsterGadgets
      @MonsterGadgets  4 месяца назад

      Thank you. Totally understandable, personal preference. I do think the no stalk isn’t for everyone. As I mentioned in the video, I’ve had my Model S for quite some time but I still have to think about where the horn is. We have all been wired for years on the stock location of the horn and it’s hard to get away from that. I’m glad Tesla moved it back to the center but again as for the no stalks, not for everyone.

      @@mcseventy6 Not really. Its no secret that a Tesla wouldn't save me any more money just because its electric. Insurance is more, the frequent tire changes and if anything goes wrong after the warranty, its more expensive to repair a Tesla. Therefore, purchasing a gas car is just as an easy decision to make...And because Elon is pro-Trump, I would never contribute to his wealth. I know that I ,one person, won't impact Elon. But it satisfies me that my money won't go to support Trump in any way.

      Musk has gone so far right wing, I'm just relieved that Trumps buddy Adolf Hitler isn't the Republicans choice. Musks political dogma is extremely close to the Nazis agenda from WW2. Very sad and dangerous indeed.
