    Hi. Great video!! Thanks for all the informative details. I did want to ask... I have watched other youtube videos on the new Model 3 and they complained about a buzzing/humming sound coming from underneath the touch screen. Did you notice that in your new Model 3?

    • @100miledrive
      @100miledrive  Месяц назад

      Hmm, not really didn't notice anything abnormal. Also didn't find any rattles or squeaks. But Tesla is known for not having consistent build quality so I will not be surprised if there are many cars that have some buzzing sound coming from underneath the touch screen.

    Great review. Did you get a new video camera recently? Picture really looks so detailed and 3D when outside the vehicle. Also, I'm picking up the long range model 3 on Friday. Replacing my 2014 Forester XT.

      Thanks for the feedback. These are GoPro cameras. I recently upgraded to GoPro 12. Also uploading videos in 4K which should help with better quality. I used to have Sony vlogging camera and it started to overheat, so GoPros work better.

    Your pressing wrong button for autopilot. Press the wheel down for autopilot.

      Thanks for pointing this out. I read online about that button that looks like cruise control and assumed that's what it was. Found more info later on the actual wheel to be pressed. Well, when I get dual motor version will have to test this again.

      The day I drove this car it was absolutely fine. A real heat is not there yet. I am sure it will not be sufficient for real 100 degree heat. I see people are buying some inner covers from Amazon to close their glass roof on hot sunny days.

      Thanks for your feedback. Maybe because of 1 pedal driving. I think you need to rent it for a day and spend more time with it. But at the same time electric cars are not for every one, if you are sensitive to the EV drivetrain then you probably want to go with a regular car.

    2024 Model 3 has a nice new body design.
    But ultrasonic sensors are gone, turn signal stalk is gone, and gear selector stalk is gone too.
    1 step forward, and 2 steps back.

    if you already own previous version model 3, i wouldn't bother replacing with newer version, very similar about 80 percent. .. of course if buying first time newer version is better without a doubt, and better looking

    • @100miledrive

      I kind of agree. It is not a complete overhaul. I think if they added a head-up display and turned it to a hatchback or smth that would make it more of a big upgrade.

      it depends how old your car is the suspension improved a lot over the years from a 2018 sure you could make that argument from a 2023 not really and lets be real the ones made in china are way better than the dogsht ones you get in the US my 2023 rwd still has USS came with floor mats and even came with a mobile charger oh did I mention the ones made in china don't have panel gap issues like America lmao @@MarkoMarkovina

      @@venechiaboy2024 is big improvement but if you have a 2023 its like going from iPhone 12 to an iPhone 15. If you've never owned a Tesla before the 2024 is the one to buy of course but if you need to save cash you simply can't go wrong with 2021-2023. The previous model is already a fantastic car and still ahead of it's rivals in many ways but the 2024 just leaped ahead of everything else in its class.
