Lisa,
Happy Lord's Day! Your creations are always beautiful!
I have all my Mom's clothespins that she used regularly in a cute bucket she kept them in and in the bottom of one kitchen drawer when I was packing up her house Winter 2022 I found a brand new unopened bag such as the kind your using. Today's video has given me lots of inspiration to make simple little things out of my Mom's clothespins to hang in my little rental until I can buy my first home this late summer early Fall. I miss going to the beach house with my Mom and the summer she became ill, I dressed up her little porch with a nautical flair. I bought a really cool rug from Amazon that was easy to wash, it was made to look like deck boards. I had an old wood anchor I bought at Pier 1 when they closed and I took off the jute string and replaced it with a crisp white sail rope I bought at the Marine supply store. My bathroom is nautical in my little Flat and it doesn't have anything on the wall. I believe I need to make a wreath. I have beautiful shells my Mom and I picked up in Sanabel to add to the wreath.
Your little clothespin flower box I definitely want to make for my windowsills. It reminds me of a weathered picket fence near the beach house. I want to make one using the jute cord but I may glue a real dried star fish on the front from the Jersey shore. I would like to try to find mini faux black eyed Susans which were my Mom's favorite and put them into the box. I am so excited to dress up my little place to add some happiness to it. Also, my Dad bring from England we are big tea drinkers. I took him out after church for a Father's Day lunch and we both ordered tea. I have never had a coffee/tea area in my kitchen but, I was excited when the rental office sent me a notice that they are going to be taking out the stove hoods and rewiring etc and they are installing microwaves.. This will be such a blessing as I have my microwave on top of the counter and having a corner sink and a microwave leaves very little prep room for making meals with lots of chopping and I haven't been able to roll out pie crusts, etc. my microwave is HUGE my Dad bought me. I like to stand to make many crafts and not a lot of room for glue gun crafting in there. But, with my microwave out in storage soon I can have a little coffee tea area. I always have teas on hand in their individual wrapped bags and I will make a tea wreath. Another exciting inspiration. I'm sorry, I'm having a senior moment and I cannot recall what you made with the napkins. I will go back and watch that part. I believe if I made the lemon with the sun rays, I would hang that in my kitchen. I have different fruits of my Mom's and wood pears made by a female wood worker on Instagram.
Great ideas and crafts Lisa!
Blessings,
Rebekah

Hi Michelle! Yes, I love that fish! Thanks so much friend! 🤗
Fabuloso, Lisa!! The troughs formed with the open ends of the clothespins scream spanish moss to me! I'm going to try the seashore wreath as soon as I find my stash of clothespins!😂
Ooh, great idea Shari! Thanks!
Hi Lisa, great video and I love the coastal wreath, very beautiful 😃👌
Thanks Nadia! Of course that means a lot coming from the Wreath Queen!! Hugs friend 🥰🤗
First one ( fish) I loved your design. I think I would make several of the lemon fairy lights and use them over a kitchen valance.
Thanks! I love your idea for the lemon! So clever!
The coastal wreath is beautiful, Lisa! 🥰 Did you hang it up in your bedroom...isn't your bedroom coastal decor? I love every DIY you made. You are so creative. The "tea bag wreath" would make a cute give for the tea drinker in your life! Do you remember when it used to be a thing to burn with a lighter the excess napking after mod podging so we wouldn't have to sand the excess off? It seems almost as fast as it was a thing, that it disappeared. Thanks for all the inspiration my friend! I am now following you on Pinterest!❤🤗
Hi Linda! I haven’t hung it up yet lol. I’m thinking of putting it in my bedroom on my closet door. You have a great memory! I do remember the lighter technique. I need to do that again. Thanks for the reminder I appreciate you, and your kindness. Also, thanks for the follow on Pinterest. I love that site so much!! 🤗
Love the nautical
Thanks Jacqueline!
