You’re amazing thank you I was gone rip the whole front plate off because I couldn’t for the life of me figure out where the soap went but I was sure that was a drawer and it opened somehow. I also don’t have the operation manual. The delivery guys neglected bringing it 😮💨🤦🏼♀️ Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
😂😂😂 so glad to have helped. After you’ve ran a few loads through would you care to come back and let me know what you think? I love mine but people aren’t so sure about them yet! lol
I have been using this unit for just under 2 weeks and it is absolutely the beston the market and the AI wash & dry cycle works flawlessly. 5 stars IMO
Bought two. Interior Alaskan home so not dumping heat outside and not using any more 24¢/kwh is awesome. Home this Black Friday deal works out. $1100 off each unit and an additional $700 off for buying two appliances of a certain value at that time. Two for less than the price of one. No more moldy forgotten loads!
I just got this unit 3 days ago. It performs really well, wash and dry. The only complaint I have is that there is an excessive noise (82db) when the washer spins at its fastest. This fastest spin seem to happen only when the load gets heavy, like washing a king or queen comforter. Did you experience this problem of getting the excessive rattling noise at its fastest speed?
Just in case, make sure you calibrate it in the settings of the washer. Maybe it was slightly moved after it was installed or never calibrated? Just something to try!
Appreciate the suggestion, however I did calibrate it probably 4 more times and made sure the unit is level but to no avail. When running diagnostic, no problems were detected and the noise is not reproduced but it is most likely because the rpm is not at its fastest on diagnostic. Eventually, since I was still in the return window, I requested for a replacement and the new one didn't have this problem and is running smoothly. Hopefully, I will not encounter that problem again as I love this machine.
@@KeithSL-k9b I hope so too! We’ve had ours for about 6 months now and we couldn’t be happier. You will notice the heat pump is louder from time to time, but that usually coincides around the time to run a self clean, and running a self clean/dry will usually quiet down the machine again.
The softener dispenser can be set to be an additional detergent dispenser for extra capacity. There’s a specialty detergent setting for it too but I don’t know if that’s for during the wash cycle or rinse. I would assume wash.
@@BreakFixRepair It might be able to be set it in the machine’s settings app or the machine’s Smartthings app, but I know for sure it’s in the Smartthings mobile app for phones. In the Device Control tab click auto dispensers and you can set what is in the bin and what concentration if you get concentrated detergent or softener. Changing the concentration will cause it to adjust how much it dispenses accordingly. The dispenser sounds like it dispenses in 1ml or smaller increments (I counted the pump sounds and divided the amount it used by them). So it’s pretty granular. Also, in the Smartthings app on the device there’s an AI Energy Mode, which usually saves about 18% of the electricity by running, what appears to be, the variable speed compressor at 50-60% of capacity. I can’t get to it in the services section of the iOS app because it skips past it due to a software bug. It takes longer, but it’s also quieter than the full power level. According to the dryer-only advertisement page it’s active in the AI Dry mode, Superspeed, Towels, and Iron Dry (that one might be model-specific). There was no mention of this feature on the combo unit’s feature page but it works. They say up to 30% savings, but I think it varies by whether it’s a light thin material or heavy dense material. An obvious way to know which cycles it works for is the energy graph in one of the apps because at full power the machine uses 600-700 watts/hr and when using the variable speed at lower power it usually uses 400 or less if running through the whole hour. Plus it will tell you at the end of the cycle how much energy was saved if the cycle uses it.
I’m not sure on the maximum amount of water but there’s a couple of options. You can do a bubble soak where the clothes will sit in the water for about 30 minutes just soaking in the soap and water. There’s also an extra rinse option you can add to the cycle you choose. The heavier cycles will also use more water than the normal cycle. Hope this helps. Check out the tagged products and go to the links there to learn more about them. Overall it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
I just got this unit and absolutely loving it, my only hiccup is that there is an overwhelming amount of different cycles, and I have no clue which one to pick. If I am doing towels for example, do I pick Normal (AI), AI Opti Wash & Dry, or Towels? In the manual, the description for 'Normal (AI)" is: For cottons, bed linens, table linens, underwear, towels, or shirts. The washing time and the rinse count are automatically adjusted according to the load"... as you can see, towels are mentioned, which then makes me question, why would I pick the Towel cycle over the Normal (AI) cycle, and then of course there is the AI Opti Wash & Dry which "detects the type, weight, and soil level of your laundry, and then selects the wash cycle settings accordingly", so why would I pick Towels if presumably the machine will pick the best cycle for the current load? Any tips, tricks, or advice on selecting the right cycle?!
Over the last month or so I’ve mostly used three cycles. Small load ( a couple of items), normal wash or a modification of it, or steam and sanitize. I find those three to be the best combo for my weekly uses. Plus being able to modify the temp or add things like bubble soak or extra dry time is great. The one thing I’ve noticed is the normal dry doesn’t always get the clothes completely dry, especially blankets so I normally add the extra dry time.
How do you get such a short wash dry time? The shortest wash and dry I have found was 5.5 hours, but then needed 40 additional minutes to dry. Yesterday I washed 7 towel, 2 good thick towels and 5 very small and thin towels, one pair of sweat pants, a pair of socks, 2 pair of underwear and 2 t-shirts. The wash took 2 hours and 50 minutes on light soil, The dryer took 6 hours and 40 minutes. The sweatpants and 2 good towels were still damp/ The dryer was not on economy. What am I doing wrong??
Love this! Be sure to check out the link to the Samsung website in the promoted products on the video. They normally have the best price plus it helps the channel out!! Thank you!
Would not have imagined that they made a pedestal for a unit that’s twice as heavy as an ordinary washer but wish I had a set. Maybe I’ll weld up another pedestal for these.
Let me know what you think of it! I love mine. I do have to run it on “more dry” if there’s a lot in there though. Some of the longer cycles can take quite some time but it’s never been a problem if I run it right before bed!
What are your options when you wash something like wool and need to use a different detergent for just that wash cycle, then go back to bulk washing family clothes.
There’s a tide pod option where you can put a tide pod (or whatever you choose) inside. I do believe there’s also a detergent cup that comes with some you can put in with the clothes.
Hi there! I have a question. If I don't have a laundry room, is the water line installation complicated? Like, do I need regular laundry room connections installed? Thanks!
You would need a hot and cold water connection, a drain line, and a 120v connection installed to run it. you’d need the standard water connections for washing machines with shut off valves to meet code most places (I’m not a contractor). The drain line drains into a long pipe that typically has an s trap at the bottom so would be hard to drain into a sink for instance. What do you have available in that room?
Hi there! Thanks for the video! Im womdering if you think it gets the clothes all the way dry and also wondering if it puts a lot of moisture in the house. Thanks!
So far I haven’t noticed any additional moisture in the house but I will certainly do a humidity test and let you know. For a “normal” dry it works very well. Im in the process of filming a second follow-up that details all of the info on each of the cycles. For now I’ll have to type it lol There’s an extra dry mode that will get the clothes very dry. I’ve noticed on “normal” dry some thicker items such as jeans and very thick towels are sometimes very slightly damp in a couple of areas so I have been running them on “extra dry” that really gets them fully dry. I hope this helps!!
This is nice. Is it apartment friendly to hook up to the sink? Not all are adjusted to the new faucets they have these days. No one shows for that type of situation.
I’d certainly talk to the apartment management first. The weight is very heavy and they’re really wide and tall. Also the hookups are probably different.
Is it normal not to soak the cloths while washing them ? Is it a new feature? I feel like it only wets them but I don’t see the cloths floating soaked in water …. Thanks
It’s more energy efficient so definitely a balance of best clean and minimal water and heating but if you want them to soak there’s a bubble soak option that will let them soak for 30 additional minutes!!
I had one delivered yesterday. It came with a blue silicone circular piece that the installers were unfamiliar with. Do you know where that is supposed to go?
It is called the Aqua Pebble. Instead of using the automatic dispensers at the bottom of the machine, detergent can be put in the aqua pebble and then the aqua pebble is placed inside the drum on top of the dirty clothes.
If it’s the only thing you’re washing it doesn’t do bad. If it’s a heavy cycle it’ll take a while to finish and you may have to run the dry cycle a little longer. Overall you’re still saving electricity since it’s 120v and much less amperage and overall wattage.
It's a heat pump system. The hot air carrying moisture will run through the cold side of the heat pump where the moisture condenses, pools and then pumped away. The heat from the warm air is recycled for the hot side of the heat pump. The air is literally recycled as well as any heat not used to evaporate water. There is some energy loss besides the energy used to dry the clothes but no where as much as a vented unit.
I want to know how clean the clothes are? I absolutely hate my Whirlpool Duet top loader washing machine because it doesn't clean the clothes very good. Can you please tell me how well this machine cleans the clothes. My husband is a mechanic at his second job and works at a power company that burns trash to make electricity for his first job. So the clothes coming cleàn is absolutely the most important thing to me. Ohh ya i have 2 pomeranian dogs that have hair that gets all over everything. Do you think this combination would be great for what i need? If not what washing machine do you suggest? Help help help
Well I have a dog and my girlfriend has a few dogs. It does very well at getting the hair off unless it’s items loaded with dog hair in which case it gets almost all of it. As far as getting dirty clothes clean, the only issue I’ve had is with a lot of chainsaw oil stuck in a shirt, but that was my fault. I didn’t use an appropriate degreaser before hand or pre treat. I’ve had brake dust absolutely soaked in a pair of jeans among with some old engine oil from my jeep. It completely cleaned it all with no pre treatment somehow. One thing to consider is that the steam / sanitize wash can take consider longer as it will do with almost all washing machines. Normally if you start it a few hours before you go to bed it’ll be washed and dry the next morning. Make sure you use the “more dry” most of the time to get them completely dry. I do love this machine. It’s honestly a life saver in some situations where I need to go to sleep but can’t wait on the washer to finish to move the clothes over. With this I just throw it in and it’s done when I wake up. If you’re interested check the promoted products link out in the description. Most of the time they have the best deals there and sometimes the Samsung link will get you a great deal and a free product when they’re running the specials. A few months ago they were running a real where if you bought the machine at $1,999 they’d throw in a vacuum cleaner too. So just keep that in mind, plus it helps the channel out with every referral purchase. Thanks for watching! I do have a “how well does it clean” video coming soon, just haven’t had a chance to with the hurricane Helene madness lately. Thanks again!
@PrettyLittleNoShame perfect!! I’m sure you’ll love it. If you could, go through the promoted links on this video. There should be one directly to Samsung. It helps the channel out, if not and you find a better deal else where then please use the better option!! Thanks again for your comments and be sure to let me know how you like it!!
I had one delivered yesterday. There is a blue circular silicone piece that came with it that the installers were unfamiliar with. Do you know where that piece is supposed to go on the machine?
Hmmmm I think there is a plastic hose guide for the drain line. I watched the installers put mine in, only thing I saw them do was unbolt the drum shipping supports and drag it inside.
It's a measuring cup, took me a while to figure it out too. My guess is if you don't want to fill up the dispensers you can put your soap in the cup and throw it in with your load. Otherwise I could find anything online about it and nothing in the manual.
Yes!!! It’s automatic. It will wait 10 minutes if you set a specific setting but otherwise yes it will start drying immediately. Normally I will start a load, leave for the day, and come back to freshly cleaned and dried laundry. It’s a game changer!!
Yes you absolutely can do a wash only cycle, or a dry on cycle. you can also set a mode where it will give you 10 minutes to remove anything you don’t want dried. It will also alert your phone when it’s ready.
Very good video. So my LG combo dryer has been giving me issues, thankfully i was smart enouth to get the warranty when i purchased & as of now the replacement parts have been ordered for like the 5th or 6th time but the pc richard & sons service tech aslo called a supervisor & stated how many times I've had this thing serviced so they gave the tech a case number & he said a manager will be calling because wven though they ordered the parts PC Rivlchard & sons are likely going to replace my unit by giving me a gift card with the amoumt i paid for it & i plan on getting this machine. I wish there was a pedestal washer for this one too like i have for my LG.
Oh no!!! I hate to hear that! I’ve had this one for a few months and so far everything has been pretty great. Check out my latest video around comments and answers to people’s questions. Also I’m not sure it will help in your situation but if you click the links in the video for the items there’s a couple different places listed and they normally have pretty good prices, if you’re able to use the gift card there. The one link is to Samsung.com directly and they are running good deals a lot of the time. Regardless if you do get one, let me know what you think about it after you’ve used it a few times. The ONLY thing that bothers me is I almost always have to use the “more dry” option when the loads are bigger. And sometimes full cycle times can be long if it’s not on “normal” or quick wash, but that’s not really a problem if I start before I go to sleep, it’s completely ready when I wake up! Hope this helps and you can get everything taken care of!
@@BreakFixRepair Thanks for the tips! i only wish there was a pedestal washer i could get for this unit. I currently have one for this LG washer & it does come in handy for small loads
OMG THANKS. Why samsung doesn't bother to tell us where the detergent goes is beyond us. We do have 120 pages of warnings and cautions. NOTHING on how to use
😂 honestly took me a minute too!!! I don’t think I got the manual when mine showed up but luckily I did find it. Once you’ve used it a few times come back and let me know how you like it! I did notice that on larger items I’ll sometimes have to use the “dry more” setting to get them completely dry.
We bought 1 of these Samsung Bespoke Washer/Dryer combos about 2 months ago! Everything was working great up until about a week ago when an err code kept popping up saying that the system was unable to drain properly. So we opened up the bottom left corner of the machine pulled out the drain hose and left it drain into a small dish. Then opened up the screw filter to find nothing in the filter, got a flashlight, looked up in side to see nothing… Put it all back together and reran the cycle. Only to have the error code pop back up again 5C … Called Samsung help desk today. They are trying to get us a repair person to help us with this issue!!! If anyone knows anything about the washer or can help us in any way it would be greatly appreciated 😢
I’d let them fix it since it has a 1 year warranty. In my opinion it would be better to let them handle it all as anything you do yourself could potentially void their warranty. They are normally pretty good with getting people out relatively fast on repairs. If you don’t mind, let me know your full experience with their support.
Does anyone felt that washing and drying takes too long like 2 hours of washing and then 3hours of drying on normal cycles. Not sure if its cost efficient. I used yesterday for the first time and not happy with time it takes.
It does take a little longer than the standard washer / dryer but you have to consider there’s no switchover time for clothes. You can literally put them in and walk away and they’re finished when the cycle is over. Even though it takes a little longer, it’s more efficient overall since it’s 120v power compared to a dryers 240v. A standard dryer can use up to 50 amps and up to 5000w of power. The most I’ve seen these washer/dryers use is around 7-8 amps and 1400ish watts of power, which is considerably cheaper.
I completely understand!! Water bills should be around the same too. I haven’t noticed any additional cost in water usage. Actually may be lower since I always forgot to switch the laundry over before then had to rewash. 😂😂
Yes! I wanted to run a number of loads through before I gave a honest answer. So far it’s been pretty awesome!!! quick wash and dry loads and thankfully no more moving laundry over to the dryer!!!
@@gnewt75I actually used the super speed wash and dry today. The wash time was 1 hour 10 minutes and dry was also 1 hour and 10 minutes. I started them about 3:20pm and they were done at 5:40pm. The normal cycle time is maybe 45ish minutes longer. I will do some more videos detailing rough wash and dry times. Overall I love the fact that I can throw clothes in, leave the house for a few hours and they’ll be done when I get back. Not to mention with the smart things app you can get notifications on your phone of when each cycle finishes. Hope this helps!!
I am a little paranoid of Samsung appliances after owning a Samsung fridge (the expensive one with the screen). Bought it in 2020 and it’s basically been a lemon. Had to repair the fans twice and now it’s not cooling again. Absolutely atrocious purchase
I hate that happened!! I do think their quality has gotten better the last couple of years. I’m certainly going to keep everyone posted on how this model does. I have a new video coming soon on things I’ve seen so far!!
If anyone wants to buy this and it's too expensive. I work at a store called Castletown in burlington, Canada. we are selling it for 2,499. Retails 3,216, which is pretty expensive when you add tax
The links in the promoted products typically have sales on it for around $2000 USD and sometimes Samsung throws in a secondary item for free. It also helps out the channel!
Eh, everything breaks eventually. I’d say stick to what you feel is right, but you don’t know what you’re missing out on. plus the warranties are pretty great!
Yeah true what is the warranty on it most are about 1-2 years with this model Iam guessing it’s way above the normal ,not like u can run to home depot for parts ..lol
Just going off memory here. I’m sick with the ‘vid at the moment. There’s a 1 year full warranty. A 5 year warranty on the drum I believe, and a 20 year digital inverter motor warranty. I have two full length videos on these. The first one goes over the warranty toward the end of the video.
Shopping for one but not in a hurry. Have the Huebsch TR7004 and have mixed feelings. Things I dislike about Samsung compared to the GE and LG is short warranty and...unknown reliability. Samsung has been terrible in recent years and it is still unkown if they have improved and if yes, by how much...
Personally I own a lot of Samsung appliances and have had good experiences with them. This washer had a pretty good warranty. Especially the 10 year digital inverter motor warranty.
Wait what??? 6 hours?! That doesn’t seem right. My normal load is somewhere around 2.5-3 hours to wash and fully dry them. There is one setting in there that lets you set an end time to finish. Is it possible that’s set?
@@BreakFixRepair I'm not sure, it was my first load and it wasn't even a lot of clothes, luckily I paid for the 5 year warranty! I'm currently on vacation so when I get home, I'll have another load to wash. Hopefully it won't take long but if it does I'm going to call customer service.
I don't get why this thing is built like a tank. It's not like Samsung doesn't already have washer dryers. So what's so special about this one. Why does it have to be so heavy. It does look like a commercial machine.
@@BreakFixRepair i was quite surprised to see this model under bespoke as there is usually a washer and dryer stacked under that name. Wonder if this is a US only offering as its not available anywhere else as yet
I wouldn't recommend this to family of 6 , we have one, and If you have to wash multiple loads, you too wait 4+ hrs per load , so u are only getting 5 loads done a day
I’m pretty close to you with 5 in the household but we don’t wash 5 loads a day lol maybe one load a day or 4-5 a week. It works well for us. The normal cycle takes about 3ish hours for me. What’s it take for you?
@@BreakFixRepair its about 4 hrs even on normal or Ai, I also believe the self mantance is cool, but does it 2 or 3 hrs. We also run a daycare so ya a few more extra clothes.
Don't get how the size is a downside. They make all in ones in smaller sizes, GE is only 4.8 and the LG is 5.0 😅 i mean did you not look at the thing before you bought it or measured?
This washer dryer combo is laundromat machine size, definitely bulky. If someone breaks into my house and steals it, I'm not going to be mad, I'll actually be impressed...😂

Can you set it to only wash or does it have to do both, wash and dry?
Yes you can do either one or both!
Yep just use pods
@@blackalaskal3372 why? It’s so much easier to fill the reservoir and let it use exactly what it needs.
@@BreakFixRepair thanks so much for the reply!
@@traveltomoney you’re welcome!
This is nice. Is it apartment friendly to hook up to the sink? Not all are adjusted to the new faucets they have these days. No one shows for that type of situation.
I’d certainly talk to the apartment management first. The weight is very heavy and they’re really wide and tall. Also the hookups are probably different.
were you able to find an answer on your question?
Is it normal not to soak the cloths while washing them ? Is it a new feature? I feel like it only wets them but I don’t see the cloths floating soaked in water …. Thanks
It’s more energy efficient so definitely a balance of best clean and minimal water and heating but if you want them to soak there’s a bubble soak option that will let them soak for 30 additional minutes!!
@ many thanks !!!!
I am buying this 💯
Check out the tagged products in the video for some of the best deals around!! plus it does help the channel out!
I certainly do love mine. It’s been very VERY beneficial for me and my little family.
I had one delivered yesterday. It came with a blue silicone circular piece that the installers were unfamiliar with. Do you know where that is supposed to go?
I think I responded to this comment the other day but did you get it figured out?
It is called the Aqua Pebble. Instead of using the automatic dispensers at the bottom of the machine, detergent can be put in the aqua pebble and then the aqua pebble is placed inside the drum on top of the dirty clothes.
How does it do with king size comforters???
If it’s the only thing you’re washing it doesn’t do bad. If it’s a heavy cycle it’ll take a while to finish and you may have to run the dry cycle a little longer. Overall you’re still saving electricity since it’s 120v and much less amperage and overall wattage.
How does a ventless dryer work? All of the water just gets put into the air?
Nope! I’ve tested humidity and it stays consistent every time. Never a spike so far.
@jimmyhuang7481 this is incredible information. Thank you!
Does it only dry if that’s all you need done.
Yes! You can do a wash only cycle or a dry only cycle or a seamless wash and dry cycle together.
@BreakFixRepair thank you so much, I think I'm going to place my order this weekend while Samsung has a sale.
I deliver appliances and from experience it should be some type of measuring device
I came here because the local Best Buy had one but the sticker on the front says 98 minutes wash & dry.
I think the super speed option will do something similar but a normal load is about 2.5 hours.
Also check out the deals in the tagged products section of the video. Samsung tends to run some pretty good promotions.
what size is this?
It’s 5.3 cubic feet!
Does it automatically start drying after the wash or do you still have to start that manually?
Yes!!! It’s automatic. It will wait 10 minutes if you set a specific setting but otherwise yes it will start drying immediately. Normally I will start a load, leave for the day, and come back to freshly cleaned and dried laundry. It’s a game changer!!
@BreakFixRepair can you change it to manual? for example if I want to not dry a specific item, can I take it out before the dry cycle starts?
@@BreakFixRepair that is incredible. Don't like the high cost though. From what I'm seeing it's about $3,000
@@danemowris39 click the product link in the video, they should be pretty cheap right now. One second and I’ll look.
@ there is one I believe!! Let me get back home and I’ll find it for you.
@@BreakFixRepair I thought I did watch a video and there was one also. thanks!

I did notice that on larger items I’ll sometimes have to use the “dry more” setting to get them completely dry.
nice combo!
❤️ Thank you!
The most I’ve seen these washer/dryers use is around 7-8 amps and 1400ish watts of power, which is considerably cheaper.
ruclips.net/video/a3hktTENqP8/видео.htmlfeature=shared I go into a little detail on the power consumption toward the end of this video.
@BreakFixRepair thanks for this info, its a relief that it is cost efficient, i dont want to see my hydro bills sky rocketed lol.
I completely understand!! Water bills should be around the same too. I haven’t noticed any additional cost in water usage. Actually may be lower since I always forgot to switch the laundry over before then had to rewash. 😂😂
@BreakFixRepair i am sure this one machine suits your needs then 😃
You mention the features but no mention of your impression after use. Will you update us soon?
Yes! I wanted to run a number of loads through before I gave a honest answer. So far it’s been pretty awesome!!! quick wash and dry loads and thankfully no more moving laundry over to the dryer!!!
@@BreakFixRepair how long are your wash and dry times? Have you tried the Super Speed cycle yet?!
@BreakFixRepair oh okay, yeah, that's good. Im stalking about cad
Can I use tide pods instead of a liquid detergent? If yes, then how to use it?
Yes you sure can! There’s a tide pod wash option! It changed the cycle up different to accommodate.
Can u imagine if one thing goes wrong?? Everything in intertwined nightmare.. I will stick to my 2 separate units…..
It’s actually this video.
Doing my first load of laundry on normal settings, it said it would take 93 minutes but now the timer says 6 hours...🤷🏼♂️
Still looking into it...🙄
Wait what???
@MightySamoht I certainly would. Mine has been incredible. It’s saved so much time for me so hopefully yours can be resolved too!
I don't get why this thing is built like a tank. It's not like Samsung doesn't already have washer dryers. So what's so special about this one. Why does it have to be so heavy. It does look like a commercial machine.
I’m not sure either but I think it has to do with the system that evaporates the excess water during the drying cycle.
@@BreakFixRepair i was quite surprised to see this model under bespoke as there is usually a washer and dryer stacked under that name. Wonder if this is a US only offering as its not available anywhere else as yet
How does this work with it being ventless? Is your laundry room going to be a steam room lol
Nope! It has a system that condenses the water and pumps it out so there is no steam or additional humidity! I’ve tested this out with a hygrometer.
@@BreakFixRepair wow that’s awesome I’m definitely going to get it!
Check it out from the “view products” in the video. It helps the channel and typically has the best prices. Thanks for the great question!!
I sure did, but not everyone would so I thought I’d point it out to the unsuspecting.
This washer dryer combo is laundromat machine size, definitely bulky.
If someone breaks into my house and steals it, I'm not going to be mad, I'll actually be impressed...😂
YES ILOVE IT NOW THAT IT WORKS BE SURE TO CHECK THE SETTINGS YES IT IS SO NICE THAT IS FUNNY
