My favorite out of the new songs that came today on the album, thought I'd quickly cover it since it's completely new and came out last night. I might be off on some parts due to not learning a lot of this style, but if it's wrong then we can just call it an interpretation!

Tune your guitar to drop D - for the choruses, you play 11(E) 13(A), then 7(E)9(A)11(D) and then 12(E)14(A)14(D)... hopefully my weird way of describing it makes sense lol
You’d be playing power/5th chords but b/c of the tuning, they’re inverted m3 intervals (or M6… however they’re meant to be interpreted or understood lol)

Just tested it out, and it does sound right! pretty tricky to figure out without knowing it's drop d, I think there was only like 1 live video or something when I did the tab
@@TheEternalFlavour definitely tricky. It is helpful to know that almost all paramore songs are drop D with a couple exceptions (misery business drop c#)

Their songwriting is so clever. I don't think there's a band in the commercial space that's making such classy songs that are wrapped up in catchy pop packaging.
A lot of alternative bands did this in the 90s but there hasn't been much since the 00s imo.

These are the settings for all the parts, play dynamically to get the really clean tone and the breakup overdrive tone!

Bro I can’t get the timing right when the drums come in
It's really tricky, try using a metronome for the intro (I think it says BPM at the start of the tab), you have to start on an upbeat for it to line up with the drums later
