5th single from Sleep Token, and just now they decided to announce the album, this one is really cool.
It was really difficult to figure out the timings, and the parts where I play straight 8th notes, they might be playing completely in sync with the drums still, but I did my best like usual!

I'm a huge fan of how this song and Granite are double drop B songs without just being chugfests. They're still so melodic

The only other band I know off the top of my head with guitars tuned to a low B0 for an entire song is Loathe. I'm sure there are a few others, but I can't recall them at the moment. It sounds fuckin' ridiculous lol

Man, watching your videos really enhances my enjoyment of the songs when I go back listening to them. So many subtle changes like that weird progression in the chorus for Granite or the chromatic riff here around 4:23 . Makes me appreciate the nuances even more. Thank you!

Congrats on this great tribute. Both clean and distorted tones are spot on. The only thing that kind of bums me about this song is the "deftonish" screams at the begining. But then again, that´s beyond your control. Keep rocking!

Got a notification, and noticed there are 3 new songs I have missed. And just checked out Vore here. What an insanely cool atmospheric song, I floated away in a trance, wauw, what a better way to kick off the weekend. Played to perfection 10/10 i am quite speechless this song just blew me away....I´ll go check out the other 2 songs I missed. BTW the guitar looks Black not Greyish, which is pretty cool or is it the lighting? 🙂

So to play this on my 7 string I need to tune down insanely low lmao
get a drop pedal and then get the pitchproof vst (free plugin) lmao or only pitchproof set it to -10 on a drop a 7 string
just tune up to drop b on seven string and drop it an octave in post

Is there any apps you use to isolate the guitars and make the tab easier?
I didn't use any programs for this one (maybe I should've) but when I do I use Moises!
@@TheEternalFlavour I used moises to isolate for this one, but didnt do a very good job.
Maybe its because the tuning is very low.
@@behnamdabestanizade Yea it's usually not that great for such heavy and chaotic songs, I think all instruments are all over the place in terms of EQ

How hard is it to learn and play this song?
And what are the easiest Sleep token songs to play on guitar?
This song is definitely not the hardest to learn, hardest part are the timings on the notes, at least if you want to play 1 to 1 with the original!
I haven't learned all Sleep Token songs, they are generally easy, just big fat heavy notes whenever the guitar comes in.
Easiest songs would maybe be like, The Offering, Granite and The Love You Want, but try to learn whichever songs you enjoy, they're all pretty doable!

How do you drop 10 semitones on the DT? I thought they only went up or down 7 semitones?
I use the actual whammy function to get the additional steps

Using the whammy pedal itself toe down, and using the drop part of it at the same time.

Respect for bassist use this tuning or lower than this tuning🤘
The bassist is likely using a 5 string in standard B tuning, which would sound like B0 even if its in B1 since it's naturally lower in nature. I could be wrong, but anything lower than G on a 5 string bass is nearly inaudible without damn good EQing

Nothing wrong with your playing, but this has to be one of the most generic metal songs I have ever heard.
Im trying to do bass covers and I can never figure out if the bass is programmed on sleep token songs like this or if a 5 is used. Between all the pitch-shifting they do and the fact that the bassist uses two different 4’s and 5 live. I think there’s a transpose factor with the bass, or they literally have presets for different tunings each song. In this song you can hear the bass doing the low G on the notes you play the 8th fret. So confusing 🫠
