Great Video. I've had my one L1800 DTF procolored printer 2 years. My second procolored L1800 DTF printer about a year. I definitely agree that most issues are user error and not doing proactive maintenance. Learn your printer and rip software just as you stated.
Thank you! Thank you for sharing this. I watched this video three months ago and wanted to purchase the printer. Life changed, and I decided to invest in my rental property. Second, since I don't have the space for this printer, I sent all my designs to TK Sales, a DTF printing company. Oh my Goodness!!! I am so glad I held off buying the printer. I don't have the space, and if anyone is reading this, please check out DTF printing companies. They will take your design, logos, branding images, and whatever you have and place it on a gang sheet for less than .75 cents. I am glad I did watch this video to learn the process. Just like I said, life changed, and I thank you for this video.
Such an informative video! Thank you so much! My L1800 just arrived yesterday, ready to get started. Also, question, which air filter do you use? And can you talk about any humidity issues? Ty 🙏
Hey, which one do you like the best? The 8550 conversion or the L1800? I'm looking at making a move on one or the other and really unsure about which one is better!
Hey can you please help. Do have any solutions to keep the white ink from clogging on the EPSON 8550. It seems if I don't use the printer daily, the white ink clogs and I have to do a power cleaning every single time I need to use it to get the white ink back printing. I'm losing so much ink from the power cleanings but that seems to be the only thing to get the white back printing. I use the printer a couple days out the week but it seems if it's not used every day the white clogs so fast. If you have any information or tips please let me know. Thank you. 🙂
Great video, I am glad you did this I am about to buy the A3 from Procolored and was wondering how it was doing so far, you have eased my worries. Love your channel Craftable Things Patrice. Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge with us. #BlackGirlRock #WomenBusiness #Crafters
Ive heard a lot of reviews saying to leave the printer on all the time to keep the ink circulating. Would you also recommend this? Im slightly worried about my electric bill if i went ahead and bought one 😬
Do I have to use only procolored ink with my f13 l1800 procolored printer. I have some ink from my other dtf printer. It is good ink. I just don't want to mess up my procolored printer.
Hello! When i upload my image to the pro rip software it gets pixely I’m not sure why or how to fix it , I’ve tried messing with the pixels but it doesn’t work , when I open it in my downloads on my computer it looks great it’s only when I upload to the software:( do you know why this is ?
Hi Patrice, thank you for the update on your printer! I just purchased a procolored printer and I’m super excited for it to get here. I was wondering if you still use Big Boi inks and film at all?
Hello, I just purchased a DTF printer, and notice signs of ink, is this supposed to be? When you opened your brand new machine, did you see signs of ink? I never put any ink in the machine at all. Just want to make sure I didn't get a refurbish machine...this machine is definitely expensive. Thank you
@@CraftableThings oh I see air filters thanks. But in terms to a humidifier is that true they say, it’s so it doesn’t clog supposedly. I live in apartment and my Living room is quite big. Will I need it?
She needs to contact ProColored. They will assist her. That is who I contact when I need help. Unfortunately, I do not provide this type of assistance on a one to one basis.

What is the best rip software
I do maintenance every day before using and all of a sudden my printer just isn’t working right
@TECHNONINJA21 define maintenance please. Exactly what are you doing for maintenance.
Thanks for honest review. I just purchased today. Seems the printer produces quality prints.
Im obsessed with your hair! You are EXTREMELY GORGEOUS!

Thank you for this. This is what I needed to make my decision to buy this printer.
glad it was helpful!
I just ordered one. I live in SC so there's no local HUB near me. Fingers crossed that I can get it set up successfully.
Did you get it working?
with the L1800 can you print with dtf sheets as well
Did you need to install a 220 power line for the Pro printer?
I truly love how you share And teach .I may have to skip this for now.Keep teaching.
Do you have videos printing on clear dtf sticker paper? Like the ones used to make cup wraps. The no heat application?
Once you use the procolored brand ink, is that the only brand of ink you should ever use?
No
Great video, very professionally executed. Love you thanks for sharing❤❤❤
thanks so much!!!
Thanks for sharing about your dtf printer and nice design as well.
thanks so much, Donzell!
Thank you for this video, great information! May I ask what is your go to ink brand you prefer? I just purchased an L1800.
I'm a fan of your RUclips channel. I'm curious, can your dtf machine print images of persons onto shirts? If so will it be high quality?
Yes, it absolutely can & does
Does it have a soft feel or vinyl feel?
3:09 Up close and personal!! Get to know your printer!

Not sure if I asked this but.... can I add the roller to this L1800 single sheet procolored printer or not and only use the sheets to print?

I've heard of an ink Ciss that helps eliminate that issue. Google it and find one that works for the epson 8550
Amazing video… just about to get my machine
Can i use dtf on canvas?
thanks for watching!!!
Yes it can be used on canvas

Thanks so much for watching, Crafting Away! I love my procolored printers.
Have u did a comparison between the dtf pro and l1800 ?
Ive heard a lot of reviews saying to leave the printer on all the time to keep the ink circulating. Would you also recommend this? Im slightly worried about my electric bill if i went ahead and bought one 😬
Great video very informative thank you
Should the printer be left powered on thru uses?
I believe you should leave power on at all times, plug into a power surge...
Great video 🥰so informative. I have to stick to transfers. Another great one for the can😍
Do I have to use only procolored ink with my f13 l1800 procolored printer. I have some ink from my other dtf printer. It is good ink. I just don't want to mess up my procolored printer.
Have you switched inks or are you still using the procolored inks?
Sorry if you've mentioned it, but do you know the approximate cost per A3 page?
Is the software included or a separate purchase?
Included
Can this printer be used with a pre-existing acrorip software?

Try printing it down. As per my experience it shows pixelated in RIP software not in actual print
Can you please help me understand how to use the white?;
If you are using 3x19 inch film sheets what size can you actually make the desize
Is the pro colored rip software that comes with the L1800 compatible with Mac?
No it is not
Only windows😢
Hey Patrice happy Saturday and here watching. Also I just subscribe yesterday.
Hey Donzell! Welcome and thank you!
@@CraftableThingsYou’re welcome. Glad to be apart of your family and Katrina as well.
I want one but a lot people make it seem scary to maintain 😮💨
Maintenance is really important.

Is it red/pink? If so, it’s a printhead protectant.
Yes it is red...so this is normal??
I wish I could show a picture..
Do you need a humidifier as some people say its necessary. Since you been using L1800. Can you tell me if it definitely needed? Thanks in advance.
I have air filters. I mentioned safety measures. I would advise on the side of being safe as I don't know the effects over prolonged usage.
@@CraftableThings oh I see air filters thanks. But in terms to a humidifier is that true they say, it’s so it doesn’t clog supposedly. I live in apartment and my Living room is quite big. Will I need it?
Did you have to replace the print head? Where do you buy the new print head?
check their website and no, I have not replaced the printhead.
What do you do if your white is at 100% white (the max) but it’s still a little transparent
Google "waterfall head cleaning" if it's still clogged, then you may need a new print head
What RIP software is that?
Great video!
thanks, Mar Bear!
What size was that sheet?
How is there customer support considering buying
I have been pleased with their customer service. However, at the present time, you can only speak with them during evening/early morning hours.
How can I reach out to the company
2:47 Great advice!!
thanks so much!
It's reddish/pink...is it normal?
That’s the protectant. It keeps the printhead moist. It’s not ink.
It’s good to have extra of it. Especially if you are not going to be printing for a few days.
@CraftableThings ok i do appreciate your help! Because I wanted to make sure I didn't get some faulty machine. BIG THANK YOU!!!
@CraftableThings is this something I would have to purchase or should this be included with the purchase of the machine?? Sorry for all the questions.
My friend is having an issue with hers something about the anti virus software, can you help her she has 100 orders she has to fill 😢
She needs to contact ProColored. They will assist her. That is who I contact when I need help. Unfortunately, I do not provide this type of assistance on a one to one basis.
Hey sis! It's been a heck of a year😅
It really has!!! 💕 thanks for watching, sis!
If you don't use it every day, are you forced to clean it every time before using it.
Sometimes.
I have so much to learn. I still can't figure out how to only use white under the white parts.
You paid 5g for the bigger one
Yay hi 🙋♀️
