I bought a new tundra and have been looking at truck campers but there are almost too many to choose from lol. Yours seems simple but has everything you could want. The t track system is a huge selling point over other brands.
One thing I noticed on all the T slot channels is the lack of cut outs for adding / removing T nuts. I noticed a bunch of un used t nuts just sitting in the channels. - Maybe I missed something, but you really need to have openings in those channels. Pretty much every vendor that uses these aluminum rail products have done this. (Prinsu for one). NOTE: I'd put those openings at the top on the vertical bars, so the un used nuts don't fall out at the bottom.
Hi, thanks for your comment. Our T tracks don’t need cut outs when utilizing our spring loaded t nuts. The t nuts can be installed and removed easily with a pick or a screw driver. The rails directly below the roof do have cut outs for an insert point to accommodate products like awnings and showers with proprietary mounts even without cut outs you can drop in t nuts. We’ll be putting out a video to explain this a bit better in the near future.
I’ve been looking for a camper for my overland rig and out of all of them I’ve seen this hits the nail on the head! Have a bunch of questions so I’m wondering will you guys be making it to expo east? (I’m in PA) Also any chance you will be making one for a 22 or newer Nissan frontier?
